C349: Surges Like Nile

Kahieli breathed as he took a bath. Selah waited by her door as he was wearing a robe.

"You should put this on your allergy. It's Ole's oil it will help. She did not splash a pure water after all." Selah advised as she walk off after handing the bottle.

Kahieli entered his room as he applied the said oil. He waltz his way by the kitchen and heared a news about the same woman who escaped the mental hospital.

"Her name is Nelly. 38 years old was assaulted and was drugged that made her retarded." Fur stated.

"She got returned to the same facility. The family came to compensate and wanted to see you. They are at the shop waiting." Agsus informed.

Kahieli saw a couple who held an enveloped and was pleading not to charge their mother. Kahieli just wave it off saying that he will charge them if they bribe his mercy. The couple left obeying Kahieli's request.

"How kind of you to buy the woman with a pajama." Ole coed.

"No, it seems that the assault done to her made her suspect every person." Kahieli spoke.

"Maybe. But it's a good action you know. So proud of you little man." Ole said as she ruffled Kahieli's hair.

"Stop your hands are dirty and I just washed up." Kahieli chuckled.

Selah pressed her lips as she stood by the counter. Her feelings for Kahieli started when they were twelve. She remained silent about it but seeing Kahieli having fun with the others and not with herself made her heart knot in jealousy. She always held it and bottled it up. She avoided to show any sign of it but she knew that Ole can hear her silent desire, wish and whisper at night. Ole had confronted her about it. Selah did not hide anything and admitted it. Since then Ole supported her but she can't help but be greedy at times.

Selah asked Nimrod to go on a shopping with her since their refrigerator are about to be emptied.

Selah pressed her lips as she comb her hair. It was black but was described as chocolate. Her pearl eyes whenever she prayes or get sad appears. She needed to wait for her eyes to return to it's normal color just like what her mother had. Selah was on her towel when Kahieli came in. She abruptly bowed her head to avoid some eye contact.

Kahieli had his eyes wide. He caught a glimpse of her pearly eyes.

He walked in and kneeled in front of Selah.

"What is wrong with your eyes?" Kahieli inquired in concern.

Selah kept her head low. She does not like it when Kahieli sounded weary for her because it ignite a hope from her secret admiration.

"Nothing, I am just tired. It's always like this anyway." Selah replied as she looked at Kahieli her pearl eyes faded and get back to it's natural state.

"Can you please get out for a while. I am not wearing anything under this towel." Selah pointed. She wanted to see how would Kahieli react but he just shrugged and replied.

"Oh sorry, I did not notice. Your hair was enough to cover your stature and back anyway." Kahieli replied.

Selah blinked her eyes in dismay as she averted her eyes. Her original focus is shifting to a pearly one.

Kahieli saw how it shifted.

"Hey are you sure you are fine. Your eyes keeps getting white." He asked.

"Yes, please get out I need to put on something. Nimrod and I will be shopping later. So please excuse yourself." Selah stated as she held herself from shouting.

Kahieli was aware of Selah's adoration toward himeself. He would tease her on purpose at times because it was exciting for him at first but now. His emotions started to shift and head to a direction he can't fathom. When he confirmed it from Ole when she was drunk his ears went red. Kahieli can't help but to be committed of what he heared and is observing. He purposely sent Nimrod and Ole to do the shopping. Urchin and Cherith were summoned by the school principal. Agsus and Fur attended a party that will end by midnight due to the launching of newcomers painter.

Kahieli suddenly chuckled and replied.

"Nimrod and Ole left for the shopping. We were calling you out but your not responding."

Selah looked suprised as she stood up and grabbed her robe to look outside. The kitchen was empty, so is the living room and the shop.

"What? Where did they go?" Selah asked.

"Ah, Agsus and Fur attended a party. Cherith and Urchin were summoned at school." Kahieli replied hiding his amusement as he watched Selah looked around innocently.

Selah tilted her head and sighed.

"Sorry, I was spacing out." She walked passed Kahieli and entered her room. She was about to remove her robe when she noticed Kahieli standing by her door way. She walk over toward Kahieli and said

"I need to change. Excuse me."

Kahieli tilted his head as he stared at her eyes.

"What is wrong?" Selah asked.

Kahieli entered her room as he shut the door and cornered Selah. Kahieli winked at her as he watched her face contours from confusion and suprised.

"What... what are you doing?" She inquired.

"Nothing just standing here with you." He stated.

"As I was saying, i need to change. So please get off and get out of my room." Selah hissed. Her eyes are turnings sharp.

"You were jealous of Ole ruffling my ears." Kahieli spoke.

Selah instantly blushed and tried to move out from Kahieli's gaze as she was about to duck and avoid Kahieli.

"See, your action and face says it all." Kahieli teased.

"Stop. You already know so just get out." Selah muttered.

"No way, we are alone here today anyway." Kahieli shrugged.

Selah's eyes went shock.

"What are you thinking with that blushing face of yours?" Kahieli asked.

"I am starting to get afraid of you." Selah pointed as she moved out of Kahieli's corner.
