Chapter 13:Timbre
Thr hairpiece granted by the queen made Natalina want to protect the line she came from. She now understand why only the women in the Remington family are gifted. God has no favorite. The wooden ornament made her value what is different. She realized that something uncommon is used by God. And a single person can create an impact to a nation or a kingdom following the path her aunt went through. Her internal monologue got interrupted by a knock on the door. From the knock alone she knew it's Kiel her cousin. The only person who value her as a person inside the Earl's household is Kiel. Her family see her as a tool and idol which she despised. "Nata, let me sleep in your bed. "Kiel ordered and as if it's he owned the room. Kiel threw his body on Natalina's bed. "Is it one of those nightmares? " She asked as she pull out a spare blanket from her cabinet. "You took this blanket with you?" Kiel said as he grab and spread it on his body. It's the lavender and scarlet feather blanket, he often used when he sleep for vacation in the Earl's house. "Well the royal prince really never grows up anyway. " She teased as she lay down beside him. " Nata it's different this time. I can feel the grip even until now. It felt like I am in a trance. " Kiel said as he burry himself on the bed. Natalina knew he is terrified. She also witness how he was persecuted as the whores child and as the Kingdom's heir. "Thank you for taking me out of that house Kiel. Aunt Gardenia informed me that you requested me to join tale bearers plus I am curious as to why you are fond of Ophir Glockenspiel. " To divert Kiel from unpleasant memories. "Nata, don't try to divert it. Besides your experiences were not that different..." Kiel's reproof got interupted by Lehi's scream. The two immediately head to the couple's room and found nothing suspicious except Ophir's presence.
Lehi and Ophir were talking about the heavenly gift they recieved. Lehi is amazed about the transparent ribbon. She is talking about how it's like a mint in a candy that melts when it got wet. When they tried to put it in the water it glitters. On the other hand Ophir is complaining that the ornament gracing the stone in his head became a part of his skin. But it's scintillating making the plain stone on his head attractive. Lehi and Ophir were lying on bed when a unknown portal sucked in Ophir. For what reason they don't know. Everything happened so fast that Ophir and Lehi seem to be paralysed.
The King got notified and asked them to sleep and they will discuss it tomorrow. The Tale Bearers really admire the King's reaction and responce when it comes to crises or bad news. King Cyrus Radney Vine Oathniel has full self control and cool demeanour. His love and service to the people of the kingdom is sincere. He is also clearheaded. The team headed to their bed chambers. It will be a long night for Lehi and the team. Eyel and Urchin came holding a pillow. Urchin is sad as well. He adores Ophir very much after all. Lehi invited Eyel to join them as well despite her strong protest about status. Lehi's command is absolute.
Ophir felt his back on top of something soft. He can smell the scent of something rusty. He is chained in four corners of the bed. A woman with lavender hair and red eyes wearing a white robe started to untie his nightdress. " Wait, Don't touch me! I am married so keep your hands off me." Ophir warned but the woman just look at him with pure lust. She is now on top of him as she lick his neck down to his chest. "I said stop! The only who is allowed to do this to me is my wife!" Ophir said in gritted teeth. He is angry. He felt violated on top of that a woman is doing something immoral. He respect women that is why he felt devastated to be treated by a unknown woman like this. "Your married? But you promised to marry me! Here I am ignoring all the affection I recieved from gorgeous men because you said you will come back for me. "
The woman with scarlet eyes and lavender curly hair said as she sniffed.
"I think you got the wrong person here. Who is the unresponssible guy anyway?" Ophir said as he sat pulling the chains from his feet and hands. Goodness he is about to be raped by a pitiful and simpleton woman.
"Then your not Gaza? I wasted a expensive perfume for this? I even work hard to change the mood in my bed chamber and for this silky robe. This is shameful and frustrating. "
The woman started whining as she unchained Ophir.
"I am sorry to hear about your wasted effort but I am Ophir Glockenspiel. And by mood about your bed chamber are you starting a torture? "
Chains and belts, and undetermined objects are all around the room.
" No! I was about to give you my all before a certain tradition in this village happens. " The woman exclaimed as she bite the blanket she is hugging to cover her exposed cleavage.
" If your not him then, I am sorry. I apologize for the shameful and foolish act I did toward you. "
The woman apologized as she knelt and bow in front of Ophir. " I can't say it's fine but let's forget it happened. By the way what is your name?"
"I am LILA NAPTHALI. Your married but your a virgin right?"
Her question made Ophir blushed and shy. " Gracious I am about to steal someone's innocence. I will accept any punishment you decide to bestow on me. "
she said once more as she pleaded and beg for forgiveness.
Ophir felt mixed emotions. First he got sucked in by a black hole inside their room and got chained on a bed. Second a woman get on top of him and accusing him of breaking a promised that made him a little bit angry. Lastly it got exposed that he is a virgin and on top of that by a woman who almost lavish him. He needs to use this punishment offer into something doable. "I won't punish you. First you have to keep your mouth shut about finding my virginity. Second never speak of what you did to me. If my wife ever hears about it... ugh I can't even imagine what will become of me. Lastly just take me home please. My wife is worried sick about me. " Ophir said as he mess his black and white hair and enumerated it feeling terrible. "
" I promise. Lila Napthali will keep it a secret between us. And once more I thank you for your kind treatment despite how I almost molested you. " Lila said as she raised both of her hand in surrender. And then she flicked her hand opening a portal for Ophir to get home.
