Chapter 211: Soaked with Stench

Kennan heared from Cyrus about Urchin's conclusion and action, thus his research about Novena and Bethany's muder case got paused. Kennan cannot help but wonder just what did Urchin saw for his little hand to shatter something deadly. Kennan was warned by Cyrus not to move by his own since Urchin has confessed that it may cause a great sabotage on their part. Kennan stocked the last book he unpacked and sat by the counter. He again read the book and was studying why would Ecles the arrogant and proud authored something tragic.

Ecles was surprised when Cyrus summoned him under his kingly command. When he reached their meeting place. He was surprise to see the King with his grandson without any guards nor the royal aid.

"Aren't you too confident? How can you stand here with that flashy appearance and tiny valuable being." Ecles complained as he eyed the chubby boy.

"Yeah.. Stop nagging. This little being is the main reason I have to summon your arrogant face, Ecles." Cyrus irritatedly replied.

Ecles just shrugged at them and sat with the picnic blanket that was laid on the grass.

"I was surprised that you wanted us to meet here." Cyrus stated as he take in the greenery and vast white stagstone by the edge.

"It's the only place that makes me to be the real me." Ecles professed.

The wind brushes their skin neatly as their eyes got caught off with the reflection of vast greenery swaying from left to right.

" So, what would this little one wants to talk about?" Ecles started.

Cyrus handed them the book and Ecles read it from cover to cover.

"This story makes me angry, regretful and vengeful." Ecles remarked.

Cyrus pointed his name on the book as the Author.

Ecles was surprised and baffled at the same time.

"What is the meaning of this?" Ecles questioned.

"Last week the Tale Bearers encountered a special case. Novena and Bethany who was missing for long years were suddenly found dead and was brutally murdered. The main issue was a portal from another dimension forcefully got distorted and destroyed. And my grand kid here saw something." Cyrus explained as Ecles seemed to understand the situation.

"It means you came to warn me because in the near future, I will commit something irrational that will push me to write this rubbish." Ecles analyzed.

"Urchin agrees." The chubby boy shorty answered.

Ecles inhaled to prepare himself and asked.

"Is it okay for you to do this?"

Urchin nodded his head and cutely answered.

"Yes grandpa. I have discusse this with our priest."

Ecles scoffed and teased.

"Why are you calling me grandpa?"

Urchin innocently replied without any intention of insult.

"Because you are old like my grandpa."

"Don't mingle me with your old man!"

Ecles complained as Cyrus laughed.

"Let's get serious young man and do tell me." Ecles convinced.

Urchin started by inviting them on a trance.

"Ecles grandpa will commit a sin that will cause this era to vanish. In your hands will be Grandpa Cyprus, Aunt Lehi and My mother's life will be slain. Urchin honestly want to kill you right now but you are my grandpa's friend . I have come to tell you what will happen not to shame you or to burden you with guilt. I have told you this to help you correct that path and avoid such tragic incident."

Ecles felt like all his senses got blocked his cells were frozen. His body went numb with what he heared. Ecles looked at both of his hand and can see how he would kill those three. Ecles felt his lenses released a voluntary tear that kissed the stench upon his future sin.

"I.. I don't know what you are talking about.. I... I will commit that kind of thing?" Ecles uttered in disbelief but it went out as a word to convince himself.

Deep within Ecles, he knew that the kid in front of him did not lie.

"A strange old woman said exactly similar. She even adviced me to heed the words of a boy." Ecles admitted.

Cyrus was also shocked of what he heared. Cyprus, Lila and Lehi will be killed by Ecles. Considering how gifted Ecles as he is, it can be done and fully knowing what would drive him insane.. All of Cyrus' summary leads to Ecles possibly committing such action.

"Can you tell me what will be the reason why I turned like that?" Ecles inquired hopefully.

Urchin sighed heavily and eyed him.

"Will grandpa Ecles promises not to be angry?"

Ecles clenched his shaking fist and made a pinky promise with Urchin.

"Because someone you thought was dead will reappear into your life. It will make you decide the wrong things."

Urchin spoke as he bow his head.

Ecles had no idea who would it be but seeing how the child tried to filter the truth in order to avoid any interfering and sabotaging on their end. Ecles understand Urchin's heavy yoke.

"Then I bet you already have a plan to help me right?" Ecles asked.

Urchin nodded.

"Grandpa Ecles will be sticking with Grandpa Resh at Kisiena."

"Why with Resh though?" Elces asked.

"Because he also saw the same vision and that he knows you well." Cyrus said.

"Or do you wish me to be the one to guard you?" The King teased.

Ecles bitterly answered a short

"No thanks."

Ecles visited the Palace and saw the first person that was mentioned to die in his hand. Cyprus is currently picking up his children who started crawling in all direction. One of the triplets halted in front of Ecles.

"His name is Nimrod. My youngest son." Cyprus introduced.

Ecles picked up the young boy and saw how his tiny hands spread it's palm, as it cutely and warmly got closer to his face. Nimrod drummed Ecles' face by his tiny hands. Cyprus panicked and got his son away from Ecles. Since his son started pulling his hair.

Ecles can't help but fidget at how can he take away this children's father by killing him. His eyes caught a view of the two women arranging the garden with a careless smile. Ecles felt like his world will be crush by his own palms.
