Chapter 10: Unbraided Hairs

Ophir can understand why she is now part of the team but Urchin to be part of this assignment is questionable to him. He is not underestimating Urchin who fought against death but his overprotective side is kicking in.
Seeing that the residence here are cave, tents and tree houses.
They are accommodated to one elegant tree house with six rooms, 2 bathroom and a kitchen plus a library. How did everything fit in a tree house? that is mystery. I can't say it's magical rather it's historical. And Ophir did not spot even a single bamboo house. Natalina must have noticed his furrowed eye brows and said "Urchin have a special gift. It was the Queen who discovered it. Urchin can see vision when he prays and close his eyes and his song can determine good and evil." Ophir get it, but Urchin is still a child for this. No Ophir, There is a purpose for this. Trust it.
Ophir keeps pondering to himself the issue of Urchin being their ally in this assignment that he just push the door opened and their the trunk barrier welcomed him by Lehi undressing with her inner garment left. Instead of shutting it back, his eyes travelled and examined her exposed skin that painted his face and ears in red. Literally he can feel a steam came out of his flushed face. Lehi just look at him as she signals that he should just close the door if he wanted to get inside. Oblivious to the effect she imposed toward her husband's manly nature. Just when Ophir wanted to step outside and give her some more time to cloth herself.The playful prince peek at their door calling them for dinner. Kiel just reacted normally as to how Lehi's garments now. So Ophir just wondered why his reaction is far from Kiel. Kiel noticed the faint blush in his face and smirked. Kiel wanted to make fun of Ophir so he entered the couple's room and help Lehi tie the ribbon in her neckline as she put on her night cloak adorn in shades of brown. Kiel sensed that his goal is accomplished and escorted Lehi to the kitchen making Ophir walk behind them in dead silence.
Lehi can't pinpoint what is wrong in Ophir's behavior that it somewhat make her dwindle. She observed that it started when Kiel came to invite them for dinner. Lehi wanted to ask him but for some reason she slightly feel aghast.
Ophir just came out of the shower wearing his usual pajama but his eyes keeps on averting from hers. Lehi decided to just get some sleep and let him talk it out when he is willing. Lehi heared him blow the candle and blackness filll the room. Shadows of light outlined the fine things inside their room. Lehi got taken a back when Ophir wrapped his arms to her petite figure. She did not know how to react either to push him or give back his hug. But his next action left her motionless and speechless. He kissed her gently and passionately that her body just reponded. Their affectionate exchange lull them both to a new sense of home and comfort since they are both outsiders from this decade.
Ophir just confirmed his reaction and jealousy when Kiel tied Lehi's neckline ribbon. Ophir can see that Kiel's action are to tease him but he actually gave him what he wanted to accomplish. It is to make him jealous, thanks to that it bugged his manly instict and treated Lehi in dead silence. He also noticed that Lehi has been observing him. Ophir wanted to punch himself for letting Lehi catch how he avert his eyes from her. Ophir waited if Lehi would ask questions about it but she didnt, which irritates him.
Ophir is determined to let Lehi know what made him act that way. Most of all he wanted to convey what his feeling at this moment. So he hugged her and kissed her. Ophir thought that she would slap him but her actions made him happy. Before drifting to sleep he expanded why was he behaving aggressively. And her reply stir up his desire to have all of her but he knows that it's not the time yet. Lehi just said
"it flatters me when you feel that way. Then it means your in love with me. Now it really reminds me that I am married with the most outrageous person. "
After their late night joke and teasing the two fell asleep bearing lovely curves in their faces.
