Chapter 41: Basket Full of Broken Pieces

Hexel arched his back in pain. The cold and void place hit his back. It does not help that his right leg is bleeding. Hexel felt the hands caressing his body got smaller. He glances to where the voice is coming from and saw Urchin who grinned at him. Urchin just tied his handkerchief on the hole created by the woman.

Urchin started to tap the floor and immediately they fell right in front of Cyrus throne. They landed on the huge table where the four Kingdom are currently having a meeting.

Asno,Von, Wee and Prince Yael with a fairy looking woman in her emerald hair and sapphire eyes. Her eyes looked like a scale. Her aura radiates like a dove with motherly gestures. She is the head of Filadelfa Mystica and her name is pronounced as Aquila. She untied Urchin's handkerchief and announced with assurance that Hexel will be alright.

"He will be alright, The bite on his neck and the nail marks should be cleansed. It indicate markings. "

Eyel and Mem are called to tend Hexel. Cyrus summoned Natalina despite the celebration of the Earl's birthday. Thankfully the Earl understand the need for Natalina's ability. Cyrus commanded Urchin and Natalina to deliver his message and aid the team.

The place became more quite and bare. Ophir continued to silently pace behind Kiel when he felt a violent force with strong impact at the back of his head. His vision obfuscated. He heard his body created a loud thump.

Kiel sneaked a glance at his back to check Ophir as he flirt with the woman in front of him. Kiel can't sense his presence when the woman cupped his face and was about to kiss him, He pushed her back on the wall. The woman was shocked at his action. When Kiel noticed her dissapointment he smirked at her. He leaned in and whispered a warning tone in her ears.

"You see, I don't fancy that gesture. Especially that i am married. Ramah you are to remain silent because the tale bearers are here to arrest you. "

Ramah just winked at him and said as she mimicked his action.

"I know, that is why I have put a perfume with special twist."

Kiel realised what she meant and his body started to beclouded.

Lehi and Lila went back to the tunnel and Lila studied some possible portal but find none. When they percieved a presence getting near them. Lehi prayed for the oil to protect and conceal their presence.

Her oil enveloped them and glued them to the tunnel wall. They can see the Ramah woman dragging Kiel and a woman in a medical suite with her brown locks dragged Ophir. Aquila came to discuss about the women who are collecting men at Filadelfa who escaped and broke out. She recognised the nail and bite mark with Hexel. She started to brief them about their background.

"They are from the family of half witch and succubus. They had caused a lot of ruckus back at the west. The victims all had been drained out of oxygen and they all had their rib cage ripped out of their body. "

Natalalina and Urchin made it in time and jump in to the portal opened by Lila.

Lehi and Lila fell on a laboratory room with a lot of human ribs being hanged like a cieling decoration. Urchin and Natalina dropped just above them.

Natalina deliver the message from the King and Aquila.

"Protect the men's back. We got snared, the enemy are half witch and succubus. They are collecting human ribs and are sucking their breath. Hexel is recovering within the palace wall. Maximize Urchin's gift. Don't split up. Move as a team. "

Lehi and Lila sum up what happened and explained it to Natalina and Urchin. Urchin gestured them to hold hands when his eyes shut.
