Chapter 154: Fame of Cedars

Natalina slept on their chamber's couch. Cyprus insisted that he should be the one to have his back laid on the soft and feathery material but Natalina hissed at him. Instead making things better the two end up having another line drawn between them. Cyprus knocked on his brother's room who kindly let him in.

"Another fight?" Cyrus remarked with a yawn.

"Yup. This time it's about a couch." Cyprus answered.

"It happens mine was because of a stupid pin that appeared out of nowhere. Women randomly snap at you when your not expecting it. You know waht brother the most irrational part was you don't even know the reason of it." Cyrus explained as he threw himself on the mattress and added.

"And it the worst part would be, you having your head hang unto the reason but will get it wrong. And it will pile up."

Cyprus took a shower and tried to sleep but his twin was right. His mind were cope up as the main reason why he needed to have his butt kick off from his own bed. Cyprus checked the time and it's an hour before midnight. Cyprus march within the halls with his robe. His vision caught a frame of Hexel and Natalina talking and having a snack on the leisure area.

Cyprus pressed his lips together and concealed himself unto the nearest pillar. His shoulder bump unto someone's back and saw Sienna. It was awkward at first but they manage to get along as they eavesdropped.

"Don't you thnik were pathetic?" Cyprus inquired.

Sienna just nod her head and replied.

"We should just leave them alone have our own snack. This won't help us anyway."

Sienna's suggestion had a point. The two visited the kitchen and had a light snack.

"I visited Yeriac before but it was when I am still a prodigal son with one of the head occult who captured me. But the place were dead. I wonder how it came back to life?" Cyprus stated.

Seinna carefully chew the food as she pondered her head for answers and said.

"It's actually one of the main concern that is why I asked your aid and chooses you. Honestly that land can only be revived by a prophet whose mother land is Yeriac."

Their chat went on as they both tried to recall any possible means.

"Ham's blood was not enough to revive an island. Magic and Alchemy had no effects on it." Sienna added.

Hexel's voice jolted the two.

"Maybe because they broke a code."

Cyprus and Sienna glanced unto his direction and saw Natalina looking at them. Cyprus felt a unknown quiver. Natalina's voice made his hair stood.

"Honey, I've been looking for you." Her voice was sweet but Cyprus knew that it will be his dead end.

"I.. I had a meeting with Cyrus and happened to stumble with Sienna...Yes... that's all."

Natalina winked at him and stated.

"Then I bet your done. Shall we go?"

Cyprus wished he could say no but his fright had him stood up immediately and joined his wife as they march back unto the room.

Hexel and Sienna can see how troubled Cyprus face was. Hexel just shook his head and looked at Sienna and asked.

"And why are you still outside at this hour? Your supposed to be resting."

Sienna just finished her cup and pushe her chair away as she wave the cup in front of Hexel.

"I'm going." Sienna answered.

"You did not answer my question." Hexel ploughed.

"Well, I got hungry and happened to stumble with Cyprus...That's all.. Why."

Sienna replied innocently as if she would tell him that she stalked him.

Sienna got walked back by Hexel on his room before resigning unto Nevi's room. For the time being Hexel is staying with Nevi.

Natalina shut the door and faced Cyprus and accused with a cold tone.

"Where did you leave your clothes. I can clearly see your chest exposed with that robe."

Cyprus just step backward from her and suddenly exploded.

"I said I was with Cyrus. I took a shower in his room because I was angry. I don't know the reason why your angry at me. I am honestly getting tired of this! You left me for how many days and would act like nothing happened! It's absurd."

Natalina bowed her head and answered.

"I am sorry. I wanted to make up with you but I got provoked and irritated at how the women medics gawked at you and you did not even tried to drive them away..." Natalina pouted.

Cyprus grinned at her and teased his wife all night which Natalina regretted because her husband's cheekiness never ended.

Hexel is not possessive nor dominant. He just don't like it when his fences are crossed. Hexel heared Natalina's concern. Hexel was glad to share a light snack with his long time friend but seeing Sienna sharing a small space and table with other man had his fences raise up in defense. He observed how Sienna would react if he stood a little closer with Natalina but he did not catch anything. When Hexel walked and inquired about why was she outside late at night he wanted to hear that she is up there waiting for him but Sienna bid her good night without any sweet words. Hexel never tasted how bitter his own attitude was and it slapped him on the face. Nevi snored as Hexel rested on his couch. When Nevi asked him to just tuck himself on his own couch from his chamber. Hexel said that he did not wish to make her uncomfortable and that would invade her recovery.

Ophir cuddled his wife closer as he continually chanted the verses he heared. Ophir wish to seek the meaning of those words with Kish and Sienna by morning. His tranquil soul got altered in a way he never felt before. It was like a passionate torch scorching his spirit. Ophir claimed the sensation till his eyes drop on their own.
