Chapter 155: Young Shoots of Flourish

Cyrus heared the list if people asked by Sienna to join the team.

"Cyprus, and the tale bearers with Kish except Hexel will be joining us." Sienna announced.

The tale bearers were surprised to hear that Hexel will be out of the mission. Hexel stood and asked.

"Why?"

Sienna just bluntly stated the facts.

"Ham is after your family. You need to remain to defend your ground besides what if Ham planned to invite the Tale Bearers at Yeriac and attack your household?"

Cyrus and Sotai agreed that Sienna's decision is decisive.

Hexel was speechless and sat himself on his chair as he fisted his palm under the table.

"If it'd Ham then that could be possible but I think we need more hands in this assignment. Evi and Sage can just guard the Duke and Duchess." Cyprus added which Hexel silently raised a second demotion.

Seinna eyed Hexel who pleaded to join the team and sighed.

When the meeting was done Ophir instantly approached Sienna.

"I think I need your help with something." Ophir stated and looked at Hexel as he noted.

"I am borrowing her with Kish."

Hexel did not know how to respond but it made him happy that she is someone who belongs to him.

Ophir lead the two unto the palace garden and spoke.

"Yesterday when the two of you talk and it quaked. I heared a voice speaking like a river."

Kish and Sienna exchange glances and was curious as to what would it be.

Sienna questioned with intention.

"What is it? Tell us."

Ophir pressed his lips and started to open his mouth.

"I who is every where heared the intentions of every heart. I who favoured you will send you to redeem the place where the hereos of old are renown and born. Use a cypress as pitch inside and out."

Sienna clasp her hand and suddenly kneel down.

"Yes! Almighty Father we recieved Your heavenly manna. Thank you for the

rhema."

Ophir waited as Sienna looked at him.

"It means that we will be victorious." Kish interpretated as Sienna nodded with a lovely smile.

The travel was quick from El Oathniel to Terifimo thanks to Lila's portal. The team reached the ocean known as the Vertigana Sea. Vertigana sea was salty, vast and massive. It was cold and is a first born water. Many have healed just by dipping their body in the sea according to history but it's glory faded when the prophets got persecuted and long forgotten.

Ain tried to cut and slice the water but like the usual it went through. The salty landlock welcomed them as they dive in to enter it's neptune guided them to be one. Before they dive in they take note of Sienna's warning.

"Be one with the brine but don't allow it to overcome you and take over you."

Ophir's sight can only praise how the seven seas made his vision and lenses cleared. Ophir saw Bethany waving and asking him to get closer. His body take a little closer when a hug halted him. Ophir felt Lehi's arms get tighter unto his waist and chest. Ophir did not realise that the water already pulled him deeper and is drifting away from the route. Ophir faced Lehi as he held his breath. His lungs is giving out and is in need of air. He pulled Lehi for an oxygen.

Nevi looked back but his focus cannot make out Ophir and Lehi's frame. The water's temperature and color change. Nevi can't decide wether he would swim back but his worry got eradicated when the two appeared. Nevi followed Ain's bubbles as their swim got longer and hellacious. Sienna gasped when her head finally got lifted up from the water.

Hexel and Cyprus followed after her and climb up from the water. They rested on the nearers crystal rock. Lehi got mesmerised by how wonderful the sight was.

" Let's rest for now. Because tomorrow will be the last swim." Sienna instructed.

The team did not have the energy to argue because of their exhaustion. Their swim was over but the water made their body soggy and aching.

Their second glide happened for half day. Their first step on the land made thier body lighter. The trees were strong and tall but it blooms like a bell. The whole forest was shaded in orange. Sienna lead them unto a canal with glittering water.

"This will be the last. This canal is known as the decade cannal because it never got impure. It remain still even against any storm. It's a one way swim but the water's tide is unpredictable. So beware." Sienna wrapped up as she lead their last dive.

It may have been a one way swim but it's energy consumption is very tiring. Kiel almost losed his breath and was glad that Urchin got left behind due to Natalina's request. Kiel felt like his muscle got rough and harden. The two days swim had his strong and flexible posture had him grunting like an old man when they reached the peak.

Even Nevi who has the strongest physical attribute fell asleep right after their dinner. They reached a spring with warm water and fresh solvent. Sienna looked back at the spring where her parents hid her from death. It was like a fresh memory. Sienna can hear her own cries and muffled voice as she watched how the devil had her parents head follow the trail of water. The blood that was said to be sacred easily turned in hue of blue and be one with the waters.

Sienna's eyes glued with the certain area that Kish wonders what was behind the shallow part of the spring. Kish uttered a silent prayer and touched the water.

The vision of a young girl crying as she covered her mouth with both of her hands in front of a bloodshed came into Kish's view. He can feel the anguish and grief from the unrecoverable slaughter that occured on the area. Kish caugt a glimpse of Sienna's face and it did resembles the kid from the vision.
