Chapter 90: Touchy Limp

Cyrus and Gardenia got derail of Kiel's depressed mood. He would eat his meal and locked himself with Lila. Lila got weakened by the sudden loss. She just losed a child. She realised that the enemy aimed for her womb at that time when they stretched her feet and arms. Her struggle might have caused more damage. But what breaks her heart right now is her husband who imprisoned her in their chamber. Kiel might have been afraid to let her walk outside.

"Kiel, I want to visit the garden. Kindly open the door for me." Lila tried.

Kiel looked up to her since he was seating from her feet on their bed.

"No, I am scared to let you step outside this place. I just losed a son and I can't afford to lose you as well." Kiel replied with authority.

"I need to breath. I want some fresh air. You can't lock me up like this!" Lila argued as she extended her hand to open a portal. Kiel straddled Lila to block her hand as he lean on her chest. He enlace his hands with hers to halt all of her movements.

"Kiel, what do you think your doing! I said I need to breath! You are invading my space uncomfortably!" Lila hissed as he glare at her husband. She made strenuous attempt to rake free from her husband's blocking but her efforts were in vain against her husband.

"Kiel! Let me go! If you won't, I will scream!" Lila threatened. Kiel shrugged at her. Lila opened her mouth to scream but Kiel halted her with his lips.

It was the first time that Kiel roughly devoured her mouth. It was ruthless that it started to hurt her. She does not want this treatment from Kiel. She can't be caged again. She started to violently fag against Kiel's weight but Kiel had the upper hand. He angled her face that gave her a second to breath. Lila attempted another shout but Kiel concealed it once more.

Natalina got worried at Kiel's behavior. Whenever he gets uncontrollable his possessive side resurfaces. He might hurt Lila if his mind won't get cleared. Natalina voice out the concer with Ophir and the others but as of the moment Kiel is using his princely authority to subdue them.

Cyrus and Gardenia knew of Kiel's personality but the elders advised them that they need to deal with it as a couple. Regardless of their anxiety, all they can do to support their son is to have faith with Lila in handling him.

Notwithstanding the marital issues of Keil, Cyrus called the Tale Bearers for a meeting. They need to make haste and help Urchin as well.

Urchin remember being carried by the red hair witch. He woke up in a vast bed. A charming man with gray eyes and silver hair is reading a book from the chair. Urchin tried to shut his eyes for a vision but the man warned him with merry tone.

"No boy, even if you try you won't be able to see a glimpse of my past, because you see, I no longer have them!"

Urchin threw the blanket and jump off the bed. He headed for the window and realised that his current location was higher than the church roof top.

"Your such a naughty boy, If you really want to play then I can join you." The man hummed as he grab Urchin from the floor and carried the boy like a potato sack.

The man's eyes turned into pure black. His face grinned like a lion hungry of it's prey. He licked his lips as he is about to bite Urchin's arm. Poldo appeared from the window.

"Ain, You should not lose your temper from a kid. I heared you successfully killed the royal prince's unborn child. I affirm you but for now try not to harm the boy."

Ain retreated as he eyed the uninvited old man in his room.

"I am just teaching this kid a lesson. He is being naughty. He just threw a blanket at my face." Poldo snickered at his reply and added.

"Well your mischief was not far from the boy."

Ain growled at the oldman who disappeared in his face.

Lila bit Kiel's lower lip. Kiel grunted at her action. Lila sat up and slapped Kiel on the face. Her rage got rain down as her tears. Kiel's senses got back at the sudden physical pain. When Lila noticed Kiel's usual amenity she pulled Kiel into a hug. Lila whispered in his ears.

"I am glad to have you back. Don't ever do this again. I am here for you, so please don't lose yourself. We just losed a child. Don't break down all by your self." Kiel embraced his wife as he cried.

His yoke got lightened by Lila's voice. He again acted reckless and hurted his wife. He should be the one supporting his wife but he ended up getting comforted by his wife. Kiel can't help but reject and pity himself.

Cyrus inquired of any clue from the scene. Lehi raised up her curiosity.

"We noticed a glass that are shred in triangular bits. It got shaped with a crown but is headless."

Hexel follwed up as he shuddered from the memory.

"the witch seemed to be well infromed about us. She instantly recognized my parent's noble status."

Cyrus looked up with the elders and they decided to inspect and investigate. It might have been a quondam conflict. From the headless crown alone it already gave them the hint.

Lila finally got out of the chamber with Kiel. Cyrus and Gardenia summoned the two for a lunch. Gardenia hugged her son who looked better than the past few days.

"How are you feeling Lila?" Cyrus fatherly asked.

"I am finally regaining my strength,Your High.. I mean father." Lila politely answered.

"I am sorry to inquire about this but, do you by any chance recalled the witch who caged you before?" Cyrus blurted out.

Lila tilt her head in confusion but she replied honestly.

"Yes Father."
