Chapter 130: Siege Ramps

The opponent howled at the sudden defeat he encountered. If only the child was killed before childbirth then he could have been the one bathing with silver and gold as he waste his wealth with his ambition. But because of his overconfidence he is suffering the consequences the expenses he bestowed with the lowly saints and humans.

Kish groan as he wiggled in his bed. It the vision that he frequently ventured. ruined court as he watched a woman being sucked in from a well. Kish tried to help her but the well suddenly vanished. A voice whispered that it was his fault for learning about it. His heart twisted from the accusations and he roared to find himself under his devout.

Kish soaked himself for a bath till his temperature got stabled. It's the same dream that's been hunting him. He even developed some fear toward any well. He put on his clothes he walked through the hall when his view got caught by a woman silhouetting the frame of his main subject from his previous dream. When she faced him he was agaped that it was Lehi. Kish approached her as his senses heightened.

"Why are you up here at dawn Mrs. Glockenspiel?"

Lehi tittered at how he addressed her.

"I happen to wake up earlier thank expected. Do you want to have some snack with me? I am about to visit the kitchen."

Kish nod his head as his ears caught how her stomach yelled.

Novena removed her cape and styled herself as she passed Kenan who is observing the area. She entered another open bar to have her dinner. She checked the menu and ordered the main dish. When she is about to dig in, Kenan sat on the opposite side as he winked at her.

"You can never trick me. My love."

Novena ignored him and proceeded with her meal thinking that the guy on front of him does not exist. She paid and exited the place but Kenan kept following her.

"Excuse me, Miss beautiful but where are you going this late?"

Novena grinned at him when she spotted someone familiar.

" I am going to meet someone."

Novena purposely skipped toward the man and called his name as he pickes his nose.

"Sage, I've been waiting for you!"

Sage was buffled but Novena gave him the look to play along.

"I am glad that you made it and did not stood me up. Let's go I booked a lounge for us." Sage replied as he clean the finger he used upon his nose.

Kenan raised an eyebrow at the strange man.

Novena played along as Kenan trailed them. And she was surprised that he really rented a lounge with rooms. Sage slammed the door unto Kenan as they entered. Evi welcomed them as Cyprus shared a tea with her. Sage explained that they are tracking the enemy that's been bothering Kish.

Kenan grunted at the door in his face. He never thought that a rival would popped out of nowhere and Novena even smiled at him. Kenan tried to spy from the window but it was close and the lounge is coated by Evi's gift that he cannot enter. Kenan walked out and hid himself on a branch.

Cyprus opened his eyes and alerted everyone inside the lounge.

"I can sense a strong black magic near our proximity, It's speed is unbelievable."

Evi's gift cracked when it landed on their roof. The fugitive appeared before them

Cyprus lessen the impact of his landing since the whole lounge got wrecked.

Kenan got hit by a rubble in the face and fell from his hidding spot.

"Get off my way, I don't have any business with you."

Evi resized the rubbles and sent it flying unto the enemy but before it reaches his body the materials melted.

Sage knew the foe's background. He started to twirl mid air and clenched the air barries the enemy put up. Cyprus can finally relaxed. Kenan stood up and watched how Cyprus easily threw the enemy.

Evi and Sage attack with their fist but got nullified by a whirlwind. Novena supported them using her fireflies and it served as their foam. Cyprus halted his wind with the gift he posses. He snapped his finger and th enemy got bounce unto the ground till his body got traced by the earth.

Evi, Novena and Sage instantly caught him to be tied. The opponent cuss when his body got turned in unto a small accessories cage. Evi reduced his size amd Sage held his gravity.

Kenan watched as Novena laughed and chat with her new friends. Kenan haven't seen that sincere grin for a long time. Kenan sent an arrow with heart shape unto Novena's hat. Novena sighed and excused herself as the team started to depart. Kenan yanked her and he pulled her toward the town they came from. The team honestly forgot about her and wheeled back to the palace.

Kenan insited that they should go on a date since it's been long for them to stroll together on town. Kenan led Novena to all the cheesy event going on in town. When Kenan is driving the barrel wheel he crafted from his lazuli. The crows gathered above them. Novena's bright fireflies got hauled up by black and vast beak.

Kish was glad that the enemy was caught. Sage introduced him as the demon who calls the tornado and hurricane. They also found out his odd name which is Nine. Cyprus gently knocked unto thier chamber and Natalina opened the door for him as she held one of the baby. Natalina noticed the dirt and slight scrape unto his body and gave Cyprus a weary look. Cyprus assured her that it was just a small cut from the wind.

Evi knew that Cyprus have the gift to order the blood within someone's body and can't help but affirm how he instantly mastered it. Thanks to Sotai and Sage's strick training. Evi picked up the book unto her side bed table and recalled Novena.
