Chapter 240: Where are the zeal?

Gatsby fought the one with reptile tails and shark teeth. He got tossed in the water but thanks to the harsh treatment he always recieved from Ecles training he got better. He started to use his body as the main weapon when he prayed.

"Our Heavenly Father who can use as weapon in any possible means. I hereby open my heart to you and is willingly be wield by you. May this battle exalt your glory. Amen."

His body got forged with breastplate of justice. His head put on a helmet of love and His feet got strapped with courage. His hands gain a two edge sword forged by Ecles' thunder and lightning. The battle was fierce at the reptile tails move in all direction. It tied and paralysed Gatsby but he was able to split it in half. It knotted back only to become a sword.

It pisses the earl that he is struggling against the tails while his enemy just watches his dodging. Gatsby took advantage of the sky and flight upward. He concealed himself on the clouds when his heart suddenly got pulled out in the core of the clouds. His blood fell on the water. The enemy was about to rip his head when Nevi appeared to punch the enemy. He forcefully uprooted it's tails.

Nevi tore it's tail and used it as a weapon to chase the enemy upward. He threw the tail like a rope and it hooked it's bunny ear. Nevi punch his chest and it's numerous viens bounced out. Nevi kicked it's spine and it bone got disarray. Nevi used his palm to crush the enemy's face. Nevi flight downward to catch Gatsby's body and Lila opened a portal. Natalina cried at the sight. Her father who is loving and tender got his heart ripped out.

Tera got cornered by the beast with many hands and three beaks. Tera sat on the ground and prayed.

"Lord God who is my constant healer and strength use me this time as someone who protects your family. Put a weapon in my hand to heal this land. Amen."

Tera got clothed like a goddess of warrior. Her head were blossoming roses and her body were wrapped in flowers and leaves. Her hand beheld a jawbone. Tera launches to fight back against the evil with beaks, eyes and hands. All the hand gripped her but she utilized the leaves to gain it's thorns and needles. All the eyes in the face tears up and Tera thought that it was gross.

Tera used the jaw bone to remove it's beak and she successfully killed the evil one with a single blow.

Resh and Hessie gained a disbelieving face. They got thrown into the sand. Got slapped on the water fiercely and Tera only killed the one with a single blow.

Resh and Hessie observed how Tera suddenly fall on the water as started to vomit and cough. Tera knew it from the start that the tears had venomous drop but she was determined to defeat the enemy. Hessie swam on her side as Resh distracted the enemy. Hessie saw his wife sinking into the sea. Hessie extended his arms and held his wife into a tight hug. Tera just caress his face and planted her farewell kiss.

The scene got witnessed by the Tale Bearers as Hexel shut his eyes and spoke above whisper

"Open the portal, I at least want to save my mother's carcass."

Lila did as Hexel requested as Hessie glided up to resume his fight.

Resh defended himself from the dotted eyes and winged feet. It utilize his nose to suck sneeze and threw Resh like a peeble. Hessie appeared behind to slice the enemy's nose. It's tail were wounded by Resh but regenerated. Hessie plucked off it's wingd by the feet and used his. fingers to stab the dotted eyes.

The enemy used it's tail to slice his flesh and battered Hessie's ribs. Resh yelled a loud "NO" as he slide in the water and caught Hessie it strangled Resh's neck but he did not release Hessie. He held him close till his neck got almost twisted when Kiel and Ophir appeared. The two burned the enemy's tail and Ophir used his boned blade to rip it's head off. Resh finally released his last breath when he saw their victory. In the end it was the youngsters who saved them. Resh mutture his last word jokingly.

"The old people are useless eh."

Waheb just stab Evi's chest as she did with Cyrus as Zayin held him.

"I never once regretted marrying you my dear. But you are no longer the same person whom I love." Waheb whispered in sorrow.

Evi just continued to bleed and laughed.

"I kinda knew you will be the one to kill me. But I won't go down without you. We are married remember?"

Waheb and Zayin exchange glances and was about to jump away from her but Evi used her knee to hit Zayin's stomach. Evi instantly used her horn to cage Zayin with her back. As she twirled and enlaced her feet unto Waheb's waist.

"We will be togther forever dear." Evi stated.

"No! you will burn in hell!" Zayin argued and got caught by Evi's suicide facade.

Her head got untangled from her body. Her heart got ripped out and her members scattered.

Cyprus and Ain did not make it. They only caught the explosion. The Tale Barears put on a simple funeral. They send out the old folks in a solemn ceremony. The Tale Bearers released the ashes as the sea washes the bloodshed left by yesterday. The once prosperous nation became desolate.

They were the only survivor.

Urchin cried till the last ash got washed a shore. If only he went to the flow then none of the tragic incident occurred. Ophir sat beside him and comforted the chubby boy.

"Don't blame your self too much. None of this is your doing."

Urchin looked up Ophir and said.

"Urchin was scared to loose my mother but Urchin did not forsee the many lives that will be affected just by saving a single life."
