Chapter 150: Double Bond

Ophir laid and reviewed all the seal as Kiel and Hexel confimed it. Most of the letters were copy paste. Even their seal were perfectly duplicated.

"Whoever is behind this knew how to play his card well." Nevi commented.

Ophir also exposed what he noticed.

"I bet this person is a noble or royal. How can a mere villager list all the house of every elegant and prestigious people within the Kingdom. Even Ain's household recieved one."

Lehi raised up a question that made the men think.

"Then how did that person know how to exactly insult Sienna? Unless it's someone who have a vast and influencial connection to dig about Sienna."

Kiel recalled his mother's painting and muttered.

"Could it be from the rebellious fraction."

They all just nodded as Hexel sighed. He felt bad that Sienna was the one recieving all the pain when it was supposed to be them who was receiving all those insult and eggs thrown unto her.

Hexel pulled Lehi at the sideline and asked her about Sienna but Lehi just teased him and said.

"You should find out your self. Bring her som food when you do. She looked exhausted and starving when we left her."

Hexel just grunted when Lehi drew a heart shape mid air.

Sienna just embraced the duchess who continued to tear up. Sienna sometimes doubt if the duchess in front of her is the same person who cooly operate to save lives. The duke just muttered a thank you . The duke really appreciate Sienna's presence inside the house and understanding toward his wife who is childish when they are within the house.

"I am sorry my dear. It's my fault. Those women were the one I used to invite for Marraige Interview with Hexel. Of course they would hold a grudge... but it should be me who was being humiliated not you. " Tera explained as she sob in Sienna's arms.

"It's fine duchess, I am sure the Tale Bearers will help us on this. So don't worry about it. " Sienna assured.

Their sentimental conversation ended when Hexel entered the room without knocking as he held a tray of food.

Sienna just silently watched as Hexel paced toward her.

"Even if I apologise now, You will surely say it's fine. So i am here to know what kind of words you have recieved from them." Hexel said.

Sienna tried to deny it but Hexel invaded her space to have her talk. Sienna even hugged a pillow to put some gap between them. Hexel suddenly hugged her. Hexel heared from Kiel that it will be the best comfort he can provide but he was too awkward and plain to pull it off. There was no romantic string behind it. Just like how Nevi stated it was a text book action.

"Okay, I'll speak just let me go." Sienna pleaded as she gently push Hexel away.

Hexel instantly released her and sat down to lend his ear.

"They said that I decieved you and that I am just someone you picked up from a remote village. They also pointed that I have a hazy background which was true since I tried to hide who I was." Sienna explained.

Sienna noticed how Hexel helped her put on a napkin and prepared her plate. Sienna regretted calling him sensitive since Hexel was not at all. He just don't know how to properly do it. Sienna bit her lower lip to hide a smile. Hexel laid her plate and encouraged her to eat. Sienna just obeyed and eat the food Hexel redied for her. Sienna said that it might be Ham or V who is behind it since they were the only two person who can do the replica of every seal in the Kingdom. lSienna also fill them in how Ham would yearn to be with the late queen.

The duke and duchess hosted a grand ball to apologise toward the household who got stirred because of the issue. Most of the women approached Sienna and asked for a pardon toward their harsh actions and abusive words. Sienna prepared a gift for the women from the money she earned when she run away and it made the women giddy.

Ham took the perfect spot to aim and snipe the duke but he hit a pillar which was noticed by Ophir and Nevi. Nevi and Ophir instantly run. Ain sliced the space with them and tracked the source of the bullet. When they arrived at the scene they only found a foot print. They followed the foot but halted.

"I bet were being led on. Let us take another way."

They took the trees and found a troops of men holding a merchandise bullet waiting for them. Ophir, Nevi and Ain take good care of them without summoning their weapon. They collected the guns and captured the troops.

Hexel headed at the palace with Keil, Lehi and Urchin. When Cyprus interrogated them they were just camping by the area and that some stranger shouted for help so they started to be in alarmed. They got tricked by the enemy. The troops were a distraction for him to escape. Hexel punched the nearest table when they heared an alarming news. The guest who attended the ball got their carriage went upside down. Thankfully no one died. Most of them were badly injured. The toll of blame went unto the duchess because she was the one who hosted it. Lehi, Hexel and Evi aided the duchess in aiding the victims.

Kiel summoned all the medics to attend the issue. Ophir, Ain and Nevi checked the site and root of accidents and found a thread to hurt the horses causing it to act up. Natalina heared the rumours and headed unto the Palace's medical ward. Cyprus was glad to see his family but they haven't talk yet. They only communicated because of the current calamity. The casualties increases when they heared how Sienna got snipped out of nowhere. Hexel volunteered to cure her with Lehi. The duke was the one who rushed Sienna.

Hexel can only count how many bullets Sienna have recieved. Her fair skin bathed with wine and blood.
