Chapter 107 : Long-winded ails

Lehi disdain with hope to see any sign of life but Terifimo felt like it never existed. Lehi heared the circulation of the water as she moved around. The water reflected the blue sky. Her sight can see through underneath. A whole nation is within the water. When she reached out with her hands she got cozen inside. Her scream turned unto bubbles and her immersed lungs got fill in by a misty air. Her saturated view became crystal. Ophir run toward her and aided her to stand.

"What happened?" Lehi quarried in daze.

"It seems that we got relocated outside Terifimo." Ophir replied as she embraced Lehi to calm her nerves.

"Where are the others?" Lehi followed up as she inhale the warmth and fragrance of her husband.

"They are inside a cabin that we spotted. Hey don't sniff to much, it tickles."

Lehi burried her face on Ophir's chest in embarrassment. She got caught cramming. Ophir just teased her and escorted her inside the cabin.

Kiel is changing Urchin's garment. Natalina is drying her hair. Hexel is putting on his upper garment. Nevi is scratching Ain's back. Lehi stared at Hexel's well toned body, she never thought that under Hexel's usual uniform that his skin were healthy and flawless, it might be the perks of having your mother as a medical expert. The more reason why weird ladies fall for him. Her eyes suddenly collided with Ophir's chest.

"Stop gawking at Hexel's body." Ophir pouted.

Lehi denied her actions and gaze up at Ophir.

" I wasn't! I was just amazed at how

healthy his skin was , I am actually envious of him."

Ophir firmly looked at Lehi and said with a serious tone.

"Did you wished to be a man?"

Lehi felt pale at her husband's comment.

"No! Your getting it wrong. I mean ....his skin was too flawless for a man. Naturally women desires to have the same. Since we tend to get insecure sometimes of our physical appearance!" She finished like a machine gun who had some spares of bullet.

Ophir just answered an "oh" to realise his mistake and added as he stroke Lehi's arms to ease her.

"Well, I think your perfect though. I mean your skin is fair enough. It looks like a cream."

Lehi felt bashful whenever Ophir complements her. She just rubbed her face on Ophir's chest when Ain interrupted them.

"Excuse me lovebirds, I think we have a bigger problem than skin topic. We need your words Ophir."

Lila and Asno went back to check the Tale Bearers. The whole vicinity looked like a lake. They spotted the cave where they remained during the storm but they were unable to find them. Lila reported their concern toward Cyrus and he just informed that their letter arrived a while ago. "It says that they are planning to get back here." Lila and Asno sighed in relief. Cyrus resigned for the day. He dried his hair as he locked himself inside their treasure room. He mourned for the Terifimo people secretly. Cyrus never thought that the process of healing was hard. He suddenly recalled Gardenia's lecture toward Kiel when they lost their child.

"Son, we are here for you, it's okay to express yourself. Don't lock in your wife with you. I am not correcting you because your wrong. I am disciplining you because I love you."

Cyrus grinned at the memory. He opened the birthday letter he received from her.

"10 Things I Appreciate about My Husband."

1. He is prayerfully.

2.He looked cold to others but is sweet to me.

3.He knows how to listen.

4. He is wise and humorous.

5. He never leaves the bed without fixing it.

6. Even when he comes home late, he never forget my good night kiss

7.His service for the people is selfless

8. Surprisingly he is a doting father.

9.He treasures all of my gifts.

10. He loves me.

Cyrus leaned on the wall as he seek for comfort. His ailing is too much that he even forget how to live without Gardenia. He wanted to get out of this place and be on a quest but he can't just leave Kiel and Urchin. He is not just a father but also a grandfather.

Hexel sat beside Lehi as Nevi served the tea he heated. The unkown place is creepy for them. It was like a village that is abandoned and is full of historical quondam. Ain explained that even if he tries to cut the space nothing happens.

Kiel tucked in Urchin unto his lap and stated.

"I noticed something strange as well. The natural resources here are not responding."

Their discussion continues as they all patch in what they observed.

Natalina heared the same dreams and scene each member saw and experience. Natalina stood up and said.

"I will try to have the diamonds to reflect everything within this area. I just had this hunch that since we all noticed the sky from the water, what if we are still in Terifimo but got ourselves locked in a certain space?"

The team approved and Natalina established a wall of diamond and Hexel had lift it upside to the clouds but the diamond suddenly got struck by lightning. Hexel had his cape burnt on the edges. The team were shocked at the surprising strike and avoided the diamond that suddenly attacked them.

Pair of eyes watched from the shadows. Her antics did not work against them. They easily figured out the way to escape. Thankfully she is skilled enough to utilize the whole space. If only Bylon did not fell in love with Cyprus she could have been alive. Her poor sister got killed by the very hands she loved for many years. She commanded the shattered diamond to chase the Tale Bearers.

Her emerald hair and scarlet eyes twitched as she entertain herself. Her desire to avenge her late sister lurks a playful smirk upon her face. She snapped her finger and Kiel disappeared on sight.
