Naruto: the gamer system

"Get back here you demon!", "Catch him!" these were the shouts Naruto could hear as he ran away from the mob that was chasing him, it was October the 10th, his birthday, and whenever it was his birthday villagers would chase him, although they were always stopped by people in weird masks before they could hurt Naruto.

Except for this time, there were no strange ninja in masks and the villagers were starting to catch up with him, after all, how could a 6-year-old boy outpace a group of grown-ups with his short legs especially since Naruto was malnourished and could not run faster than grown-ups.

His only advantage was his large stamina and his knowledge of the village streets since he had to spend a lot of time running from people.

Anyway currently naruto was jumping over fences hoping to lose the mob, sadly this birthday would be a lot different because this time, young ninja decided that it would be an honor for them to hunt down the demon and present it to their parents who hated the demon even more than they did.

As Naruto jumped over the fence a kunai came flying his way that hit his left thigh making him cry out in pain "Argh" tears started flowing from his eyes since he had never been hit by a kunai not to mention being cut by one.

Two young men with short hair appeared over him while they were grinning with a sadistic look in their eyes.

One of the young men spoke out "Look what we have here, a little demon trying to run away from its punishment." he said while the other young man laughed.

Naruto tried standing up but the pain in his legs stopped him from doing so, the two young men looked disgusted by naruto's efforts to run away and one of the two shouted at him.

"You demon! You dare try and run away after all the things you have done!" he shouted out while he hit naruto who simply whimpered.

"B-But I haven't done anything!" Naruto protested but the boy's only response was a punch filled with anger, he had heard the stories that Naruto was the Kyuubi and had killed a lot of people so he wanted to gain the recognition of the village by killing the demon.

"You think that we don't know? Do you think that you can get away with the crimes you have committed? We know that you are the Kyuubi!"

Naruto's eyes widened in shock, he never thought that the reason why everyone hated him was that they thought that he was the Kyuubi, but Naruto was also confused since he knew that he wasn't a 250-meter tall fox demon.

Naruto was a very smart child which was why he was almost never caught by the villagers when he did something, recently he had also started doing pranks on the villagers that belittled him and on stores that wouldn't sell him anything.

But it did make sense to him as to why they hated him just not why they thought that he was the Kyuubi, before he could continue with this thought he noticed the large mob of people who were now surrounding him.

Naruto was incredibly scared as many of them were holding weapons and had torches, he knew he couldn't run away and he didn't know what to do.

What ensued was simply horrendous, the tens of villagers surrounding him each took a turn beating him, each harder than the other, and this lasted for half an hour before Naruto couldn't hold on anymore and lost consciousness.

Naruto was already unconscious when a robotic voice entered his head, his body seemed to move on its own as a malicious chakra and an enormous killing intent started coming out of his body, blood-red chakra started to surround his body as he slowly stood up, his injuries healing slowly.

It was the Kyuubi's chakra.

His body moved and the head of a villager was torn off, in all but 10 seconds all the villagers surrounding Naruto were killed and his body fell over.

Just in time as well as the previously mentioned masked ninja appeared together with the 3rd Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen.

The Hokage looked at the brutal scene with cold eyes, at that moment he had realized that he had failed to protect Naruto and had failed his promise to Minato.

Hiruzen looked at the masked ninja and said "No one shall know what happened here, if any of this gets outs I will personally execute all of you." as he picked up Naruto from the ground who was breathing weakly.

"Clean this up," Hiruzen said as he shushined away towards the hospital.
