51 Chapter 51: Chunin Exam Finals (4)

The 3 round had started, and the fighters had already been decided before the third round started.

It was Naruto against Shino and Sasuke against Fu.

The first fight would be between Naruto and Shino this time.

They stood across from each other, the referee had already given them the sign to start but they simply stood across from each other, neither moving an inch.

Naruto had the bandaged form of Samehada in front of him.

Even to Naruto, Shino was an extremely dangerous fighter, while he could survive multiple attacks he would lose health rapidly.

Both Naruto and Shino were deadly close-range fighters, Shino had his Rinkaichu which could eat through the cells of his enemies and Naruto had his enormous strength and Samehada who would rip any of his future enemies into little pieces.

Naruto decided to act first, he grabbed the bandages that covered Samehada and ripped them off.

The audience was shocked, many of them knew of the seven legendary blades and they knew that Samehada had recently been stolen, but none of them would have imagined that it was Naruto that stole it.

The Raikage laughed out loud, "HAHAHA! Hokage-Sama! Your Genin are truly admirable, to have stolen Samehada from someone as strong as Kisame Hoshigaki, he is truly lucky to have survived that encounter, I heard from a few acquaintances that Kisame is still enraged and is looking for the kid that stole his weapon." The Raikage said to Hiruzen.

The Hokage nodded, "Thank you for your kind words, Raikage-Sama, Naruto is indeed a very surprising shinobi, I would have already made him into a Tokubetsu-Jonin if he wasn't a Genin." He said.

Back with Naruto and Shino.

Shino had also acted, his skin became purple and he had taken his coat off once again.

Naruto decided it was best to attack first, he held the advantage in every single way except maybe lethality.

He held back less than he did for Karui and quickly arrived in front of Shino who barely managed to react to Naruto.

Shino only used kunai as weapons which wouldn't be very effective in blocking something as large and heavy as Samehada, especially since Naruto put a lot of force into his swings.

Shino was left with no option other than trying to desperately dodge.

He managed to dodge a few attacks before he got hit, but Shino had actually managed to trick Naruto.

Or at least he thought he did, While Samehada obstructed Naruto's vision of Shino, Shino had quickly switched himself out with an insect clone and used the headhunter jutsu to go underground.

This would have been a good plan if it wasn't for the fact that Naruto wasn't a sensor and could sense that there were two chakra signatures, one of the clones and one of Shino, albeit them being identical.

His sword cut through the clone and Naruto decided to not give Shino any chance to counter-attack.

Naruto lifted up Samehada high in the air and used one of his skills, Power Strike was a very useful skill that Naruto was hesitant to use against the other participants since it would do too much damage.

Naruto swung Samehada down with all his strength.

It was as if a bomb had exploded, the ground shattered with Shino in it.

A large cloud of dust rose up and Naruto dashed at Shino's signature, he knew this was the real one so he held back.

He hit Shino hard enough to knock him across the arena and used a small wind jutsu to dispel the dust cloud.

Shino proved that he was stronger than many others and withstood Naruto's attack with minimal damage.

Shino coughed, "You hit a lot harder than before."

Naruto chuckled, "Of course, I won't hold back that much against you." He smiled cheekily at Shino.

Shino sighed and raised his hands in defeat and looked at the referee, "If this was a real battle I would've died just then so I forfeit."

The referee nodded and announced Naruto as the victor.

A couple of Sand ninjas cleaned up and restored the battlefield, it was now time for Sasuke to battle Fu.

The two stood across from each other, Sasuke with his Sharingan already blazing and Fu with her armor and wings out.

The referee raised his hand and swung it down "Begin!"

Sasuke didn't waste a single second and Shunshined at Fu who didn't react fast enough.

Sasuke's kunai cut through Fu's right-wing effectively crippling her ability to fly, this would remove one of the biggest advantages that Fu had.

The two descended into a swift and deadly fight, Sasuke with his kunai and Fu with her stingers.

Sasuke's heightened senses allowed him to keep up with Fu's superior speed and strength, they were at a stalemate.

Fu's wind Ninjutsu didn't help her since Sasuke's fire Ninjutsu canceled it out, and Sasuke seemed to know more deadly jutsu than Fu did.

The only way Fu would be able to win this fight is by either using the Seven Tail's chakra or by getting lucky and catching Sasuke off guard.

'Damn, I'll have to finish this quickly, I'm running out of chakra.' Sasuke thought to himself.

Using multiple ninjutsu, using Shunshin to catch Fu off guard multiple times, and constantly keeping his Sharingan active put a lot of strain on his chakra and his chakra reserves were not yet large enough to keep up with the chakra drain that his fighting style used.

Sasuke decided to finish the fight, or at least try to.

Fu had similar thoughts, she needed to end the fight quickly, her armor was barely holding on and she didn't want to receive any injuries before she fought Naruto again.

Fu channeled a bit of the Seven Tail's charka, her armor became stronger and her wings were restored, a red glow surrounded her and a bit of charka started leaking.

Sasuke saw the changes happening with his Sharingan and realized that he wouldn't be able to win this fight, it was lamentable and quite disgraceful as an Uchiha but he was aware that there were many people stronger than him out there, so he decided to do the smart thing.

Sasuke turned his Sharingan off and looked at the referee, "I forfeit." 2 simple words ended the battle.
