53 Chapter 53: Dinner

Naruto looked at the notification as loud cheers erupted around him, he had won the Chunin exams, quite easily, but still, he had won.

Rewards: 250,000 EXP, 50,000 Ryo, skill upgrade card.

Naruto looked at his rewards and smiled, he leveled up 3 times now level 81 gained 50,000 Ryo, and got a completely new reward that he had only seen once in the quest that the Kyuubi had given him, an upgrade card, more specifically a skill upgrade card.

He would have to check it out later though as he was approached by the members of his team, Shino looking more worried about Fu than anything.

Naruto shed mock tears "Not even in a relationship yet but already abandoning us? I see you Shino, I see you." Naruto said with a sad voice.

Shino looked flustered but ultimately didn't say anything.

What came after was a reward ceremony which if Naruto was honest was quite boring, then something completely unexpected happened, Naruto had been invited together with the Hokage to go and have dinner with Rasa and his Family, Naruto of course couldn't disagree so now Naruto was dressed in a formal Suna attire that consisted of a long robe that had intricate golden designs and white pants with pointy shoes, both similarly embroidered with gold.

Naruto said goodbye to his team who looked at him jealously, they also wanted to get free fancy clothes but they didn't have time as they had to spend time with their family who was there to visit them.

The Hokage walked along the halls of Suna's Kazekage Tower with Naruto.

Hiruzen looked at Naruto, he never imagined that Naruto would have become this powerful "You know Naruto I am really proud of you." Hiruzen smiled while looking at Naruto who had already grown to be almost as tall as he was.

Naruto smiled at Hiruzen, he had long ago realized that the man had flaws but so did everyone else and the man was trying his best to correct them, maybe not all his mistakes but the ones that involved him he was definitely trying to work on.

"Thank you Hiruzen-Jiji, I would not have made it this far without the help of everyone and I'm thankful for that." Naruto smiled back at Hiruzen.

They had arrived at the dining hall where the Kage's, Naruto, and the Kazekage's family would be having dinner.

Yes, Kage's as the other Kage's had been invited as well.

They entered the room, everyone except Rasa and his family was already there, this was a move done by nobles, it showed who the most important person was as they arrived last, it was a power move done to show importance.

Hiruzen spoke up first, "Good evening to you all." he said with a nod as he went towards his assigned seat.

Naruto bowed his head slightly without looking down and spoke as well "Good evening to all of you, I hope you liked my performance." Naruto finished with a grin.

The Raikage grinned back "Good evening indeed, Kid I really like you, I heard that you met B as well, I hope he wasn't too troublesome to deal with."

Naruto chuckled "Oh no, he wasn't troublesome at all Raikage-sama, I have to deal with my sensei Guy every day so dealing with someone like B wasn't very difficult for me." Naruto replied.

The rest of the Kage's made some small talk, Onoki, the Tsuchikage had left as soon as the exam finished so Naruto didn't have a chance to talk with him and see him up close, but the leader of Taki and the Raikage were present so it wasn't as if Naruto lost anything.

After a bit of waiting the Kazekage finally arrived, with two children in tow.

The Kazekage looked as cold as usual.

Naruto's eyes widened slightly, a beautiful young girl followed after the Kazekage, she was around the same age as Naruto perhaps a year or so older and Naruto was amazed, her light make-up made her beautiful lips stand out, her red lipstick highlighted her vibrant green eyes and her nervous stare added a cute department to her.

Naruto had seen pretty girls before but never had he ever considered a girl or woman beautiful, outside his mother who would always remain one of the most important women in his life.

Of course, Naruto did not allow a single change to be seen on his face other than a slight widening in the eyes, sadly he was surrounded by S-rank ninjas who were trained in seeing even the most minuscule changes in expressions.

The other person was a slightly younger boy who was wearing a lot more makeup than his sister, what he wore was the traditional warrior makeup of Suna, often worn by ninjas who use puppets.

"Good evening to you all, I thank you for accepting my request to have dinner with me and my family, this is my eldest daughter Temari and my middle son Kankuro, sadly my youngest is currently unavailable, I hope that you didn't have to wait too long, the food will arrive shortly."

The Kazekage sat down with Temari sitting on his right and Kankuro on his left.

They started talking, unfortunately for Naruto, he could only observe as the things they talked about weren't really something that he could interfere in or add on to, so he mostly spent his time eating the food he was given which while good still didn't compare to a good bowl of Ichiraku Ramen.

Then after they finished the more serious talk they started talking about the Chunin exams.

The Kazekage looked at Naruto and asked him a question.

"Naruto-san, I wanted to know how you managed to control the chakra of the Kyuubi so well, would you mind telling me the answer? Of course only if it's alright with you." The Kazekage asked.

Naruto nodded at the Kazekage "Of course it's not that big of a deal Kazekage-sama, I simply made a deal with the fox, he lets me use a percentage of his chakra that doesn't make me go mad, of course, this is only possible because of the seal that my father put on me." Naruto said shocking many people at the table, including the Hokage, he had told Naruto that after the Chunin exam he would likely get enemies either way so revealing who his parents were wasn't a problem, Hiruzen didn't expect Naruto to tell others this early.

The Kazekage was surprised, it was a solution that he hadn't heard of before, it might have been worth it to try it with Gaara, perhaps he would gain a good weapon out of it, "Oh, and do you mind me asking who your father was?" The Kazekage followed up with another question.

This was a question that everyone at the table wanted an answer to.

Naruto hummed, "I thought it was pretty obvious, I resemble him quite a lot, but the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato is my father." Naruto casually dropped this bombshell

Pretty much everyone's eyes widened in shock, they had expected a wild answer but not one this unexpected.

The Raikage laughed out loud, "BAHAHA, Kid, you're lucky that the old bastard Onoki has already left, he would've attacked you without hesitation." The Raikage said seriously.

Hiruzen and the leader of Taki nodded, after the events of the third ninja war Iwa and Konoha had become quite bad enemies so them being together here on the Chunin Exams was quite surprising, but it just showed that Konoha would still will, regardless of the new blood in Iwa.

They continued talking for a while until all the food had been eaten.

Rasa motioned for Temari and Kankuro to stand up, "Naruto-san, would you be so kind as to demonstrate a few jutsu's for them, we have a few things to talk about where we'd rather not have you kids here, Temari, show him the training field." With a few words Naruto, Temari, and Kankuro were disregarded.
