With hot tears rolling down her beautiful face, she ran helter skelter for her dear life, but Abel caught up with her and grabbed her by the arm with an unusual grin on his face.

she is good at sword but right at this moment, it seems even the sword lord has turned his back against her
when she accepted to be his pupil, he promised to be there for her but he vanished after he trained her and the last time she saw him.........
'Maybe my life was meant to be a mess from the start'. Arya thought again
"Your highness, please surrender your life to lord Tak, that is your only option" Abel said with zero remorse on his face
"How do you mean?" Arya frowned
"He wants to make you his wife, actually, this is a good thing, since he would be crowned the next emperor in a few days, you have the option to be a queen or....." Atlas paused and sneered into arya's face "A ghost!" he completed his sentence and arya laughed in disgust
"Guess what, i like the last option" she said dangerously and in a blink of an eye, she moved towards the edge of the cliff and jumped down
"Everyone move!" atlas ordered and the soldiers obliged diligently
Meanwhile, a man in his early thirties who has been on the tree all the while grabbed a thin rope and drove down the cliff

"arya you made the right decision, its better to die than stoop so low and sell off your pride, if this is what the heaven wants, then so be it, forgive me for all my sins lord" i thought silently and closed my eyes for the worst to happen
A fresh tear trickled down my face.....
But suddenly i felt like I'm in someone's embrace, i didn't fall
Did someone perhaps.....save me?
every relative died, then WHO?
I didn't want to open my eyes hastily so that my surprise won't be limited
Perhaps, its a knight in shinning armor, coming to save the damsel in her worst moment.
And he was indeed a knight......
the familiar smell.....i sniffed it in and opened my eyes gently
"sword lord?....." i called out his name unconsciously
at that moment, my consciousness was already fading away but how can i not recognize him?
He was the strange lord, who taught me swordsmanship years ago when i was on an adventure
"Marry me! and i would save you, and avenge your family's untimely death, this is your last chance to live....princess arya!" the sword lord said straight forwardly and i frowned.....
