概要

Born of the wastelands, Spheris Arnadel, a young skilled thief, finds himself subject to a twist of fate when he steals a powerful relic and becomes a Bearer — humans gifted with powers from the Gods. As a punishment for his theft, he is cast into an otherworldly realm alongside other Bearers, where he faces off against monstrous beasts and powerful enemies. Yet, in his determination to return to the Continent and save his dying mother, Spheris is hell-bent on surviving the abyssal world. Even if it means giving his body to the Dark God whose powers he had stolen... even if it means losing all of his humanity.

Chapter 1• The Oldracken Streets

The evening winds were brisk.

His scarf followed their motion, dancing in the air as he walked. His hands were in his pockets, his cold amber eyes cast straight ahead, ignoring the glances and whispers of the people surrounding him.

He was a tall boy, skinny in a way that it was impossible not to notice, and pale. His dark long hair was tied into a ponytail, and yet it was still long enough to follow the wind as it flowed. There was a faint scar on his left eye and a broken lip.

He was a Heathian boy walking the townish streets of Oldracken, which explained the glances and glares the people gave him.

He was dressed in all black, from the tip of his ponytail down to his weary shoes.

But it wasn't just the color he was wearing that was interesting, it was the quality. His clothes were made of expensive myrethian leather, a material that certainly couldn't be afforded by Heathian routs like him.

And then again, as if the myrethian leather wasn't enough. Or the strange paleness and skinniness of his body, or even the audacity to walk amongst the Gentlefolks in a town, the boy curiously had a raven perched on his shoulder like an accomplice... or a pet.

This boy was peculiar, and if there was one thing people disliked, it was someone with peculiar tendencies.

But did he care? No. He had learned not to.

Years of subjugation, oppression, hunger and suffering would do that to an eighteen year old boy. Especially one who had watched his father beheaded and his mother fall to a deadly illness of the sanguine malady.

The hateful looks in the eyes of the Gentlefolks were nothing compared to the antwarks who attacked their small homes back in the Heaths, or the constant drought, or the Hellbenders from The Abyss feasting on the Heathians who were too weak to defend themselves.

Spheris Arnadel had witnessed it all, and had survived it all. Which explained the aura he had with him, and the pain in those sleepy, shadowy eye bags underneath his piercing dark eyes.

His grumbling stomach caused him to stop abruptly, clutching it as he groaned silently. He squeezed his eyes in pain and then continued his walk after the aching had subsided.

He had no money for food, and the powerful smell of different dishes and delicacies filling the air was not doing him any favors.

But then, like a dew-kissed rose blooming in a desolate garden, a blubbery man walked past him. Spheris's eyes moved for the first time to the jingling pouch tied meticulously to the man's belt, and then he closed his eyes, mastering the knot and how he could swiftly untie it.

When he was done, he took a quick glance at the man. He was dressed like a tourist rather than a usual citizen, which meant he wasn't from Oldracken. Gullersville, perhaps. He certainly didn't look like someone from Ido.

Either way, this was good news for Spheris. The man would be long gone by the time he notices the pouch is missing.

So Spheris waited a moment, creating enough of a gap between himself and the tourist. When he felt that there was enough distance, he gently nudged his shoulder, signaling Talon, his raven, to go.

The obedient bird soared into the crowd, gliding past heads and shoulders till it arrived at the tourist man, who had no inkling of what was about to unfold.

Instantly, the raven started perching on his face. Panic seized him, and he let out a startled shriek, frantically attempting to use his hands to shoo away the persistent bird, but it continued its assault.

The scene soon became a spectacle as the man tripped, toppling over a table of cabbages and randils. "Get the hell off me, you stupid bird!" he cried as he tried to get on his feet.

The small crowd watched, gasping as he once again fell and took down with him a barrel of fermented brael. "What is this? Get off me! Leave me alone, devil bird!"

"Talon, so this is where you flew off to!" The tourist heard a soft, masculine voice say.

Talon stopped its onslaught on the man and nestled up on Spheris's hand, who had shown up pretending to be a savior. "I'm sorry about that, sir," Spheris said. "My bird can be a little... untamed sometimes."

He offered the tourist a hand, but the furious man refused indignantly and got up on his own.

"I hope you're okay," Spheris continued.

"You Heathian scum!" the man cried, slapping Spheris as hard as he could with his fat large palm.

The slap sent Spheris flying to the ground, crashing on the already empty barrel of brael and even drawing blood from his nose. "You better learn to tame that vile creature or I will snap it into two with my bare hands like a twig."

Talon must have heard this threat, because it flew into the air immediately, hovering above the premises and avoiding the tourist's bare hands.

However, the tourist seemed to care less about the creature that attacked him and more about the Heathian who offered him help.

He spat on the ground where Spheris lied. "And stay away from the townships! Go back to the Heaths where you belong!"

He regarded Spheris with one more hateful glare and then stomped away. The rest of the crowd followed and all that was left after was Spheris lying on a ground wet with brael and blood leaking out of his nose.

When he looked around and was sure that no more eyes were on him, he pulled out the pouch of callisters from his pocket.

A weak victorious smile stretched beneath his bleeding nose. "Worth it," he whispered.

- ☯ -

Ever since he was ten, Spheris had threaded the streets of all the three towns in the First Wing, pickpocketing and thieving with such heedfulness that he had never been caught.

Never.

He started in Ido which was closest to his thatched house in the Heaths, and then Gullersville before he moved into Oldracken.

It was in Oldracken that Spheris found most of his success, just like he did that evening.

"Twelve silver and thirty bronze callisters," Spheris counted. "Not bad, Tallie. One of our best actually."

The raven replied with a simple flutter of its wings. They were in a dark alley later that evening, hiding away from people so they could count how much was in the pouch they had stolen.

"Yes, you did great. And you deserve a treat," He put the pouch into one of his safe pockets. "We'll go to one of those expensive inns, the ones in darnberry road? We'll eat something nice and then I'll go see mother at the infirmary."

As they prepared to leave, a sound caught Spheris's ears. A sound very silent but loud enough for his agile senses to pick on — the faint squeaking of a shoe.

Spheris turned slowly towards the elusive noise, his eyes narrowing sharply, scanning the shadows as his heart pounded. "Whoever you are, I already know you're there. So you can just come out now."

There was silence for a moment as he waited, and then approaching footsteps could be heard, followed by a very familiar voice of laughter.

Then, very slowly, a silhouette of a tall, muscular, brawny man materialized from the shadows.

"The inns in darnberry road, huh?" the man's voice boomed. "Whoo! That must be a lot of money you stole, little Spheris."

Spheris already knew who it was from the booming, annoying voice. But if there was still any doubt, the silhouette slowly faded away and revealed Dunnam Gurnlak, the former marshall and infamous bounty hunter.

Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Quinlan, a simple office worker finds himself transmigrated to an extremely dangerous fantasy land as a level 1 Commoner with nothing to his name but his wits - and a unique gift that accompanied his teleportation. No one in Thalorind could have predicted that this unassuming arrival would one day rise to the top, redefining the very meaning of the term 'power'... And that he may have achieved said result by joining a criminal organization and clawing his way through its ranks. In the beginning, Quinlan was painfully weak and alone but thanks to his severe trust issues, joining a team was... hard. However, he soon noticed that a lot of people have collars around their necks in this world... People that couldn't exactly betray him. Follow Quinlan's journey as he grows in strength, amasses wealth, fights to the death, and meets lovely ladies. ... Discord: https://discord.gg/bjunEkswQ3 ... After writing over 750 chapters, here’s what you should know: 1. About the beginning: The early chapters are a bit rough. I'm not saying that it's horrible, in fact, I believe the story to be very enjoyable right from chapter 1. But, at the end of the day, this is my first original novel, and I stumbled in some areas, especially with the MC's attitude. He's too reserved and occasionally too "simpy" with the first female lead. However, the MC grows into a confident, powerful, and composed figure. No long-term cringe. He becomes the kind of MC you want to root for. 2. Quinlan’s morality: He’s not a cruel, sadistic villain. Most of the time, he won't even be acting like a real villain, only when pushed to the limit. Meaning he won't torture puppies or civilians for fun while cackling manically. However, he’s greedy, shameless, and opportunistic. If the lives of his loved ones are at stake and he can only save them by burning a city with innocents inside down, he’ll do it. He's ruthless toward strangers when necessary, but doesn't delight in cruelty. 3. Regarding slaves: Yes, Quinlan becomes a slave master. However, he treats all his women—free or enslaved—with care and respect. 4. More than smut: Every love interest has a real story, a real presence. No girl will be left behind. As of Chapter 750, Quinlan has 7 lovers and a few more "in-development" love interests. This is not a "catch them all" story, adding one girl every 20 chapters. I prefer harems made up of girls with richly developed characters over giant harems full of shallow ladies. Quality over Quantity. 5. Balanced storytelling: My aim was to create a work where romance, action, and slice-of-life blend together naturally. There’s high-stakes action, power progression, romantic developments, comedy, and some chill downtime to let both the characters and the readers breathe. 6. Weak-to-Strong Progression: Quinlan will become OP. But he rises slowly, not overnight. His journey will hopefully feel earned. 7. Not every female character listed in the fandom is a love interest: Some women are important to the plot but are not part of the harem or a planned to be, such as his two mothers. 8. No Yuri. No NTR. That's it, thank you for taking your chance on my novel! I'll make a promise to you, showing how much I believe you'll love the novel if you get over the somewhat bumpy beginning! If you read 750 chapters and hate the story even after investing so much time into it, then you may burn me alive!

Reincarnated To Evolve My Bee Empire

"Now, go forth, my mortal champion! Conquer this world—or else!" I lived a painfully average life and died by a stupid, stupid accident, but a goddess interfered, giving me a second chance in another world. There, I became royalty—the lazy kind with almost no obligations, free to live in peace and luxury for the rest of my days. Sounds like a dream, right? In reality, it was anything but—because I became *BEE* royalty. A Drone Bee, doomed to die of old age in 2 months! (A humanoid bee, thankfully, but still a bee in all the ways that matter.) The only way to increase my lifespan is to develop and grow my bee colony—a deadly task in a vicious world like this one. There are murderous insect monsters, colossal beasts trampling the earth, other civilizations, natural disasters, and the bitchy patron goddess who absolutely hates me. But as long as I have my brains, my bees, and the powerful genes my system gives me, my Bee Empire will be unstoppable! === For those who want to know more: This is a wholesome comedic story, but it has some dark moments. The focus is on kingdom building, survival as an empire, and interacting with MC’s beautiful bee wife and adorable bee daughters. The bees are all humanoid (see pictures) and human-sized. However, they are still bees in their ways of life and mentality. Although there’s a system, real growth comes from putting effort and time. Nothing happens in an instant in this story, unless it’s trouble. MC acts like an idiot sometimes (oftentimes), but he’s not actually stupid-stupid. When it comes to strategic decisions, he uses logic and reason. Even if you might disagree with it. Also, there will be no smut (ecchi is a fair game), incest, NTR, harem or BL. === Discord is up! Find it at -> https://linktr.ee/Garessta Updates: 2 chapters/day, right after the reset (with a 5% chance of running late). Reply to author's pinned review if you have questions. Also, although I realize the futility of this aim (at least right now), if this novel reaches top 15 golden ticket ranking (and stays there for a few days, obv), I will mass release 10 extra chapters! (within 30 calendar days)

Strongest Mage with the Lust system

[ Warning: Mature content R-18 ] Is death a new begining? For Max, it was. Max, a twenty-year-old virgin, got attacked by a bear in forest and died an untimely death. Fortunately for him... that wasn't the end to his story. In the next instant, he found himself transmigrated into the body of a noble's youngest son in a world full of Magic, wonders and... beautiful women. As if God was making up for his untimely death, he also got a system -The Lust System. "I can become stronger just by having sex?" Join the journey of Max and watch he have the time of his life and become the strongest mage the world had ever seen before. ______________________________ [Things to be noted] 1. From the title, you should've guessed it already but let me tell you the story will be filled with many sexual adventures. So... you are welcome to enjoy them..... 2. However... don't expect MC to have sexual relations with every woman he meets. I'll be focusing on the story, and would 'Try' not to blindly throw sex scenes left and right. 3. Most importantly, this is my first time writing so the the quality of first 50 or so may be a bit lacking (But it would cause you no problem if a few minor errors don't bother you). 4. It is a slow paced story. If you want everything to be explosive and fast, maybe this isn't for you. Important Note: If you enjoy the story then don't forget to vote your GTs, Power stones and also if you can, send some GIFTS too. This poor soul would appreciate it. Also check out My other work: [ Rise of the Strongest War God ] & [ My perverted devil system ] Happy reading~ ________________

Well, here it is at last. The traditional shameless review from the author. I want to use this as an opportunity to drop as much information as possible about The Raven Thief, and if you still have questions after — no matter how silly — please leave them in the comments, I'm more than willing to respond. ☞ What's TRT about? - The novel generally revolves around Spheris Arnadel, a habitant of the wasteland regions who gains the powers of Obsidian, the First Celestial and the God of Darkness as he struggles to survive and save the ones he loves the most... even with dire sacrifices and consequences. ☞ What's the world around the story? - TRT is set in a completely fictional, fairly medieval, magical world. Think of it as the Republic City in LOK mixed with GOT. It is a gritty world that is governed with so much politics. First ruled by the Old Gods, who were killed by the New. ☞The Outerlining Story? - The New Gods took over as Celestials of the Continent, however the war they fought had direful impact on land, unleashing Bridges that led into a hellish world known as The Abyss. Beasts called Hellbenders poured out of this Abyss and into the Continent. Thankfully, gifted humans who were born with the reincarnated powers of the dead Old Gods made it their task to slay these beasts. They were called Bearers. ☞Spheris Arnadel. Who is he? - Spheris is essentially an uncaring, bleak, hardened and self-serving 18 year old boy. He has been shaped by his harsh environment to prioritize his own survival above all else, leading him to adopt a callous and indifferent attitude towards others. The only person he cares for more than himself is his mother, and his lofty raven, Talon. However, his naiveness in aspects concerning magic will certainly amuse you and make you root for his story. ☞Romantic Interests? - Yes, certainly. But it'll almost be non-existent as it will only aid in Spheris's character growth rather than being some sort of side plot that drags the story. ☞What are his powers? - Shadow (Umbrage) Manipulation. I know, I know. Another character with the shadow powers, but trust me, you've never seen any character employ the force of darkness like Spheris will in TRT. ☞Overpowered? - Certainly, but it is going to be a grind. A lot of characters are going to put poor Spheris in his place, especially when he starts to think he's super powerful already. ☞Harem? - Can I swear? Cause I wanna say fork no. ☞One FL Then? - Well no. Spheris grows to be a charming guy; strong, and mysterious as well — the perfect woman wetdream combo. But he doesn't go bouncing from woman to woman. He's a traditional guy, and cares little for romance anyway. Well, at least he thinks he does. ☞Special Something? - Well, there's something I added into my version of worlds. In this story, the worlds where Bearers and Adventures travel to are owned and created by Humans, i.e other Bearers who have arrived at the greatest level of power. They gain the ability to manufacture worlds out of their own artistic minds and sculpt places and beasts of these worlds. When the worlds are not Regulated and taken care of, it falls into delirium and the beasts in the worlds enter the Continent to cause mayhem. Such worlds such as [The Abyss] and [Knightmare] are examples of this. Interesting stuff, I promise you. ☞Is it in any competitions? Probably not a question you will ask, but yes!!! TRT is competing in WSA24 and I really wanna push for something great. This is the most well-thought out and most well-written book I've ever conjured, my first WN project as well. So please, be nice, or don't be nice, be expressive at least. Tell me what you think? Ask what you need to. I'm new here, I might not be aware of some stuff, so I'll be really grateful for any support, help or guidance. And I promise you, TRT is a story you'll very much enjoy. Is it conventional? I don't think so, which has me a little nervous. However; levelling up, beastslaying, revenge, weak-to-strong, captivating characters, interesting and well described powers, one of my very best worldbuilding and fine writing? Come on, give The Raven Thief a try. (◠‿◕)

It started really great, I liked the MC, the world and other characters, the author is certainly capable at writing captivating stories, but for me many things went downhill, when they finally got to the Abyss. And the MC and his behavior was the main disappointment. The MC, as author many times mentions, supposed to be some type survivalist scavenger from the wastelands, but his behavior was so stupid and naive, that it kinda killed my interest in the story. The things below are not major spoilers, but just some of his decisions. - Given his talents, he should have volunteered himself as a scout of the group as soon they landed in the Abyss, but he did nothing and passively followed without his input. - When they got to the cave to setup a base, nobody thought that it’s not a great idea to start a fire in the night in this extremely brutal hostile and unknown place and basically wait to be discovered by someone or some monsters. I didn’t expect much from noblefolk, but our ‘survivalist’ should know better. - nobody on watch while everyone is sleeping - mc goes out with a girl during the night and just casually talks, laughs and practices magic for the whole world to hear (hello, did you forget where are you?) - naturally the group is discovered because of the fire, but good thing, it’s just bunch of human scavengers. Here I thought, that MC would shine, but no, not only he doesn’t have any survival instincts and skills, he also is a bad judge of character, and decides to trust them, while Thorin the group leader had a good hunch not to trust them, but Cerene convinced him otherwise. - when Nero confronts her about her stupid idea, MC defends her as her being rational. I’m sorry, but there is absolutely nothing rational in trusting bunch of scavangers, who wanted to rob you while you were asleep. I don’t expect much from naive noble girl like Cerene, but MC who leads a similar lifestyle to these scavengers must know better. I was reading all this, while hoping that MC is just playing dumb, like he did during the heist in the beginning of the story, but sadly no, he is not playing dumb, he is just dumb. I expected for MC to shine in this hostile environment and showcase his survival skills in contrast to noblefolk, but in the free chapters, there is literally zero survival skills, intuition, decision making or judgement of character that in any way highlight the MC. All he has is random magic skills that appear randomly to save him and even his magic feels undeserved. His mindset is really weak and passive, that it allowed the events of story just push him in whatever direction with zero resistance. And lastly, the whole thing with Obsidian was also disappointing

Been with this story since basically the start and can say with certainty that it only gets better as it goes on, from the world building to, what I think is its strongest point of character design. Writing quality The writing quality is incredibly well done with a conftable and smooth flow of reading, the grammar is near perfect with only very few mistakes. The emotional scenes feel emotional and the action scenes immerse you into the very fight itself. Overall the writing quality is near peak and well above average. Updating stability The stability of updates is consistent and regular, nearly everyday and even then it’s not for long before another chapter, or two, is posted. Story development The story development has a well paced story. Not to fast and not to slow, allowing you to easily follow the story while giving you enough of what you want before moving on to the next interesting section. This keeps the story fresh and as of chapter 72 I have yet to become bored. Character design This is what I think is its strongest point. The characters feel real with each having their own thoughts and personalities. And with the characters that it focuses on we get to see how each of them grows and improves. The side characters are a good mix with no one character the same. Overall the Author has done an amazing job. World backround The world building so far is very diverse with lots of different imaginative places that we can allow ourselves to immerse in, with a big range of different monsters and areas, so far not many communities or cities have been seen but that’s to be expected in the place the story is currently taking place in. The monsters however are all different with their own unique and interesting traits. One of its strongest points I believe are this novels monsters. Power system The power system, which is always something important for me. Seems to be well thought out, and versatile enough that the characters can grow along side their powers and build a fighting style that suits them. With each character gaining different and unique powers to help them specialise in different things. As of right now, there is no jack of all trades. Personally I quite like that, as it means that the Mc or other characters cannot just do everything by themselves and allows for more character interaction. The Author Finally the Author. This is another one of its strong points, as the Author is incredibly active and responds to the comments answering any questions readers may have while also taking responsibility for any spelling mistakes they have made. (Unlike a certain few.)
