Spheris let out a silent breath, still reconciling with what he had done, the fact that he had killed a Utopian in his very first battle with one.

Suddenly, the darkness trembled, vibrating under his feet for a stretched moment. When it finally stopped, Spheris looked back. 'What was that?'

'It seems the sleeping beast has awakened,' Obsidian replied.

Spheris's eyes narrowed. "Hells."
