Spheris sat on one of the numerous seats in the expensive lecture hall. Unlike the room for Historical Culture and Ethics, Mystiqarium Studies had a much bigger space.
It was a vast hall, filled with rows of tiered seating that curved gently around the central stage, each row filled with the Student Bearers wearing the Academy's formal uniforms.
There were Students ranked from Novice to Master, all distinguished by the varying numbers of lines above the school's crest.
As Spheris expected, the Master Ranks occupied the prime seats at the center and the front, which had more plush cushions and comfortable furniture to rest their hands.
The Adepts found themselves in-between the Masters and the Novices who jam-packed themselves in the back, clustered toward the edges, avoiding the more prestigious sections where they were clearly unwelcome.
