It's been over a decade since the F-Virus began to spread around the globe... Rations are getting low after scavenging so often, and not many communities are left. Most gave up or were overrun by the corrupted. Doesn't matter how much firepower you have if there are thousands upon thousands running toward you... Atlas learned that the hard way...
The entire southern hemisphere of the Vale is just... Gone. Fire-Dust bombs and Steam-Dust bombs took out most cities trying to contain the virus. Obviously didn't work, and only trapped the remaining survivors and valuable resources. Only the desperate try to go there.
I... Finally saved a single round for myself. I can hear them, banging outside the door as I write this. A cacophony of distorted guttural sounds, unsettling no matter how often you hear it in the distance... The only benefit is I'll finally get to see Patrcia again, after so long...
If anyone sees this after the horde of them clear out, there are some emergency rations and an old pistol under the floorboard in the main bedroom. Not sure if it still works, used back during the Faunus Revolution, but if it does work, it will help wherever you're going.
Whoever finds this... Oum speed. You'll need it.
