Rebelling Purple

General James Ironwood was starting to develop a headache. Not a day has gone by, and Silva Branwen has already started an altercation with another student. His hope was to change the snow leopard faunus's mind about attending Atlas Academy. He looked over the security footage to see how the other student went out of their way to antagonize Silva and Winter. The other student is a third-year student, but he was completely unable to face someone their junior by a few years.

As the general saw Silva dump the student in a trash can before reporting to his office and as his doors opened to reveal the troublemaker. As Winter and Silva stood in front of him, the ice queen saluted him.

" General, Specialist-in-training Winter Schnee, and guest student Silva Branwen, reporting!"

James sighed and bluntly told the faunus.

" If you were one of my men, I have you face an extended stay in the isolation cells!"

"You're more than welcome to try, Tindick."

Silva smirked at the general as he felt confident in his chance at facing the man before him. As much as James wanted to punish the faunus in front of him, he was warned by said faunus that he would likely get into confrontations with the more narrow-minded students. The general saw the shadow of his ally Qrow within the young man with his casual disrespect for authority figures and knew he would be difficult to handle. However, the combat ability of Silva was enough to try and tolerate the disrespect.

James saw someone that could possibly go toe to toe against the Maidens, and whatever pawns the "Queen" may have to do her bidding. Silva Branwen clearly had a large amount of combat experience, which is unsurprising considering his bandit heritage and being trained under Raven, who could hold her own against her brother Qrow. The general wanted the snow leopard faunus under his command as part of the Ace-Ops, but Silva has made it clear that he doesn't trust James to any degree. The general sighed and gave him a mild punishment.

" Silva Branwen, you are to report to the isolation cells and stay there for the rest of the day."

" Sure, where are they?"

The general looked at Winter and ordered her.

" Schnee, please guide our guest to the isolation cells."

" Yes, general!"

As I, Silva Branwen, followed Winter, I got out my Scroll and checked the security systems at the isolation ward and found that aside from a single camera in each cell which has a blind spot that I could exploit, the security is fairly lax. I am setting a timer to loop the footage in whatever cell I wind up in and see the girls in Vale and Raven. Winter and I stopped at the personal effects depot to drop off any personal items before going to my cell. The moment my Scroll was put in a lockbox, I used Door to Darkness to grab it, and Winter dropped me off with the manager of the isolation ward.

" I will see you tonight, Silva."

" Sure, see you later, Winter."

After Winter left me, I was guided into my cell, and I knew where the camera was at and entered its blind spot after pacing around for a bit. After looping the footage, I opened a portal to Raven first to check up on her and the prisoner. Finding myself out in the woods and in front of her tent, I entered. I saw the former bandit chief enjoying her tea, and she greeted me.

" Hello, Silva, have you slipped out from right under James's nose?"

" Yeah, Tindick decided to put me in an isolation cell because I beat up some idiot, and I dealt with the security there, so he is none the wiser."

Raven smirked as she sipped her tea, and I took a seat across from her. The former bandit chief poured me some tea, and after wetting my throat, I asked her.

" So, is Jacques still alive?"

" Aside from the bare minimum amount of food and water, he lives."

I smiled at the fake Schnee's suffering as want to weaken him both physically and mentally so he wouldn't put up much of a fight when Willow filed for a divorce and would be unable to do anything to stop it. I caught up with Raven and learned that she almost has enough to pay off her bounty. After enjoying her company, I went to Vale to check on the girls next. I saw an unusual sight.

" Listen, you trumped up street rat; I am telling you that she looks best in white since her hair and skin tone is so pale!"

" And I am telling you, Melanie, Argint looks best in black because of the sharp contrast!"

Emerald and Melanie were arguing with a pile of clothes surrounding Argint, and I didn't see Miltia or Neopolitan anywhere. I clapped my paws together to get their attention, and Argint immediately walked up behind me and said with little to no emotion.

" Master Silva..."

" Hello, Argint, and can you tell me what in the world is going on here?"

Argint explained with no expression on her face.

" Miss Emerald and Melanie entered a debate on fashion and proceeded to drag me into the debate because of my unbias opinion, which degenerated into dressing me up in various outfits of their choices."

I looked at the mint-haired girl and the more brash twin and asked them with a cold tone.

" Do the two of you remember what I said about handling Argint here?"

These two seemed to have forgotten the fact that the vampire girl is a broken person remade into a toy to be bought and sold. I am angry and disappointed; I trusted them to look after Argint while I was stuck at Atlas. I sighed as the two girls looked more than a little sheepish in front of me and asked them.

" So where are Miltia and Neo?"

"They're out grocery shopping right now."

Emerald answered me, and I decided to relax for the time being until it was time for me to head back to Atlas.

Arthur Watts is a tan skin man with dark hair and green eyes working out the last few kinks of his Paladin Project for James Ironwood's challenge in developing the next step in national defense. As much as he despises the general, his pride as one of the brightest minds of Atlas compels him to give his best efforts. Arthur has a growing grudge against James for the simple reason of not being appreciated for his brilliant mind. He finished his recent field tests of the prototype Paladins and made it back to Atlas to make some final adjustments.

After working out some problems, the Atlesian Paladins experienced while being tested against Grimm, he decided to check the backdoor programs he installed in Atlas's security systems. As Arthur looked through the system, he found himself surprised that someone else other than him had backdoor programs in the system. He traced the program, or at least tried to but was met with firewalls that made him question who was behind this. While there was no shortage of clever scientists specializing in programming, Arthur was familiar enough with them to know their styles.

Arthur couldn't figure out who managed to hack into Atlas and install multiple backdoors and false credentials. He then asked out loud.

" Who are you?"

Arthur decided to devote a portion of his time to finding this mysterious hacker but not to turn them in but to chat with a possible like-minded individual. Most scientists he knows of didn't consider setting up backdoors in Atlas's systems, whether on principle or lack of forethought.

Winter Schnee went to the isolation cells to pick up Silva as classes today had ended. She walked up to the snow leopard faunus's cell and called out to him.

" Silva, are you awake?"

" Hey, Winter, you didn't have to come to pick me up."

The ice queen curtly replied.

" You are my responsibility."

" Is that a proposal? How bold of you."

Winter was at a loss for words at Silva's teasing, and she sputtered a reply.

" I, you... I am just following orders!"

The ice queen didn't have any experience in good nature teasing, considering that she isolated herself by immediately joining the Specialist Program when she joined Atlas Academy. The snow leopard faunus chuckled at Winter's reaction and told her.

" I'm teasing you, Winter."

" I see..."

The ice queen quickly regained her cool and opened the isolation cell. The snow leopard faunus got up and stretched his body like he had been cooped up despite the fact it was the opposite of the truth. Silva followed Winter back to their dorm room and thought.

" At least my stay in Atlas won't be too terrible."
