It was another day for Beacon Academy, as it was combat class for the first years. Glynda Goodwitch checked the time before announcing.
" Class, we have time for one more spar. Any volunteers?"
Several students raised their hands, and the strict professor picked.
" Cardin Winchester. Who would do you wish to face, Mr.Winchester?"
" Him!"
Cardin smirked as he pointed out a sleeping student with eager glee. It was Silva Branwen. Today's combat class was particularly boring for him as nothing worthy of note happened, so he decided to take a power nap as he had been busy the last few nights with his projects. Glynda already knew that the snow leopard man's combat ability far exceeded his peers due to her knowledge of his past being a bandit and, more specifically, Raven Branwen's lover being his current status despite the age difference.
However, Ozpin wants a clearer idea of Silva's abilities, especially since he or, rather, she is suspected to be the Spring Maiden because of the existence of Magic within him. The snow leopard man is less than amused by this misunderstanding. Still, he sees no point in correcting it since the current Spring Maiden is unknown since Raven gave up the power before heading to another universe to gain the strength needed to subdue the Brother Gods along with Salem and Silva; plus, it gives him an excuse to smack the old wizard later.
Glynda sent a look to Ruby, who was sitting next to the sleeping giant, to wake him, and even with her being socially awkward, she got the message. The little red reaper shook the snoozing faunus on the shoulder and called out to him in a whisper.
" Wake up, Silva! Professor Goodwitch is calling for you!"
" Tell her five more hours..."
Silva replied without even opening his eyes as he got himself comfortable. One thing he appreciates now about his fur-covered arms is how good of a pillow they make to nap on. Glynda saw that the snow leopard faunus had no intention of getting, so she took out her weapon, The Disciplinarian, a riding crop with a hidden Dust container in the handle, to focus her Semblance Telekinesis to lift him out of his desk. The strict teacher brought her still-sleeping student near the arena before dropping him a few feet from the air.
Silva landed on his feet and opened one of his eyes to look at Glynda before asking in a bored voice.
" Yes, Glynda?"
The strict teacher adjusted her glasses before sharply retorting.
" It's Professor Goodwitch, Mr.Branwen."
" Please, call me Silva; Mr. Branwen makes me sound old, so refer to my uncle Qrow as such."
She sighed at her student's antics and cursed internally at Qrow for being a bad influence on him as she saw a faint shadow of the dusty old crow in Silva. Raven was far more well-behaved compared to her usually drunk twin brother when she was a student. Glynda then told her student why she brought him down to the stage.
" Mr.Branwen-."
" Silva!"
" Mr.Branwen, Mr.Winchester, wishes to spar against you for our last match for the day. However, I feel that is not enough of a challenge for you, so how do you feel about facing all of Team CRDL?"
Silva shrugged as he replied nonchalantly.
" Sure."
Cardin and his teammates grinned at the prospect of ganging up on the snow leopard faunus and quickly agreed. Soon the five combatants were in the arena, although Silva had not bothered to change out of his school uniform, unlike Team CRDL out of laziness. Glynda did not comment on Silva still being in uniform and set the timer to start the match.

The timer rang as Team CRDL quickly surrounded the snow leopard faunus. Silva yawned and crossed his arms, waiting for the lackluster team to make their move, and Cardin called out in annoyance at seeing the snow leopard faunus not taking him and, by extension, his team seriously.
" Get him!"
They struck Silva all at once with their weapons, but what happened next stunned everyone watching. The moment all four sets of weapons stuck the giant, they were met with manifested black Aura that protected him and sent the weapons flying from their owner's hands. Team CRDL looked dumbfounded at seeing themselves disarmed without their opponent even moving. Silva grabbed Cardin and Dove Bronzewing by their necks and lifted them from their feet.
The snow leopard faunus then tossed the two he picked up into the air and grabbed them by the ankles before swinging them like clubs against their Teammates. He knocked the remaining two to the ground and beat them repeatedly with their teammates until all four of their Aura levels hit the red. Silva yawned as he left the stage to go to lunch, and minutes later, the bell signaled the end of class. Glynda then told her class as her students got up to leave.
" We will review Silva and Team CRDL's match tomorrow and make a note of every action and reaction taken."

" That was awesome!"
Ruby exclaimed as she sat next to me during lunchtime, and I grunted in reply as I was still shaking off my nap. I took a bite out of my grilled Mistral-style fish, and Blake got the same as me, hardly surprising considering. Pyrrha sat across from me and commented.
" It was impressive, if brutal."
Luna and Argint took a seat on my other side after figuring out who would sit next to me and added.
" As expected of Master."
" My Lord would not lose to those lesser warriors."
Weiss took a seat next to Pyrrha and complimented her.
" Pyrrha, I am sure you could do the same, if not with greater grace than this oaf."
I snorted at the snow princess being a fangirl, and Neopolitan came and sat on the polite spartan's other side. Lunch was filled with chatter that I tuned out until I heard.
" Let go. That hurts!"
I saw Cardin and his team bullying Velvet by grabbing her rabbit ear. Nora growled as she saw her friend-slash-tutor being bullied, and even Ren looked a little angry. They got closer to the bunny girl when they worked at her Mother's cafe when they first got to Vale, and they even borrowed Velvet's old school books to study up. The thunderous girl said, unsurprisingly.
" I am going to break his legs."
I got up first and walked over to the group. Team CRDL stiffened as my shadow loomed over them, and I grabbed Cardin's hand to force it open to free the bunny girl's ear from his grasp. I then asked her with concern.
" Is your ear alright?"
" It will be fine, thanks."
I nodded at her, then turned my attention toward the bullies and decided to give them another taste from combat class. They were wary of me, considering I flat-out kicked their sorry hides with ease, and only Cardin dared ask me.
" What's your problem, freak?"
" Just a low tolerance for those that dare lay a hand on any friend or acquaintance of mine. Of course, you are going to develop a new appreciation for the ceiling."
" What?"
They squawked at not understanding my meaning before I sent them flying and had their heads buried into the ceiling of the cafeteria—just another day at Beacon.

[ Raven Interlude]
Raven Branwen flew in her corvus form through a mountainous region to find the person her lover, Silva, directed her to find to help in her quest to further her strength to subdue the Brother Gods. All that Silva explained about this universe, its past, present, and future, to the people that live here, and the infinite possibilities she could cause with her interaction with this world sounded surreal to her, but here she is. The snow leopard faunus gave her some guidelines to act upon, like who not to kill and what not to do.
The former bandit chief flies until she sees a small house surrounded by bamboo and perched on the roof. Not long after, a little boy came out with spiky black hair and a monkey tail that called out cheerfully.
" Time for breakfast!"
This was Son Goku, and Raven decided to observe this "protagonist," as Silva called him, to determine if she was going to interact with him or if she would just take a back seat to the events to come.
