My Roleplay System

Hi, Author here with a shameless 5 star review despite my story saying otherwise. The purpose of this is to clarify some things about this novel and its story to the viewers. First, this book is not meant to be some amazing story with unique plot development or anything truly extraordinary. If that was what you are looking for, then this isn't for you. This isn't to say that I plan to write a copy and paste story with repeated clichés all over the place, but I won't go into this novel expecting an amazing story with plot developments and story arcs that have never been done before. This novel was always something I started writing to fill up my free time and also finally act on my passion for writing which brings me to my next point. This is the first novel I have ever written. The quality is not going to be amazing and honestly, I am already extremely happy with the support I have gotten for this book so far as it was completely unexpected to me. Now, to clarify the biggest doubts about the story, this is NOT A HAREM!! Personally, I love harems... when they are done well that is. Unfortunately, I neither have the skill nor confidence to say I can write a good harem story with interesting characters and epic character growth and development between the MC and the female leads. The MC will interact with various women throughout the story but the story will not progress into a harem. If that was what you were looking for, this is not the novel for you. Also, you may see some negative reviews and comments about the early chapters of my book and I am ashamed to admit that most of those reviews were true. However, after I finished the first volume, I went back and took the time to make corrections to the earlier chapters, making Lake appear less like a creep and the reaction between characters feel more realistic. Although I can’t say it completely fixed all of the problems with the early chapters as I was still deeply inexperienced when writing them, it helped to deal with the major ones. These changes did not affect the overall story in anyway so if your someone who has read ahead already, there is no need to go back and read these chapters. Finally, like I said before, this is my first novel, so any feedback or flaws you may have spotted in my novel, whether they be grammatical errors or your personal opinion on the story is always appreciated. These things help to progress my writing skills and allow me to gain a completely new perspective on how to approach writing a story arc or chapter which all helps to improve the quality of my work. If you still choose to stick around and continue to read this book after reading this review, I appreciate you taking the time to read this novel.

Man. Wt f is this?? I feel like my logic dying. Not only is MC generic CN Mc, at some point I felt like this is just a great translation of a regular CN novel. If you like this novel, either you are reading this while keeping your brain shut or you’re just too used to CN novels by now. I mean, the way MC se Xually harassed a girl just in the first 5 chapters and the girl, instead of feeling creeped out and hitting MC back, she blushed. YES she f ing BLUSHES from Se Xual HARRASMENT!! And guess what, at one point I felt like not MC manipulates the fate any make everyone brain dead, he makes himself brain dead. This makes me soo mad. Like where’s the laws? Where’s the logic? Why is everyone brainwashed and brain dead.

Would sell my first born to read this, great world building story telling and the plot twist with was just amasing 10/10 would force others to read at gunpoint

I like the concept of the story. And it has potential. But when the 'damsel in distress' scenario happens in chapter 4 itself, it's so disappointing. And the way the MC speaks to other women just irks me. What I'm saying is, HAREM is fine. But it should be done tastefully otherwise just don't do it. When you bring a woman this soon into the story, it just ruins the future plot. Another novel with potential got ruined.

Is it possible to post more than you currently are posting per week this novel is super good

I must say this is an amazing novel some things here and there could be better(Example: Lake having to play the playboy character that his sister designed for him and him breaking things off with Evelyn. Even if you don't want her to be the female lead at least make them friends or something with no romance on both sides.). But overall, this is one of my favourite novels. Other than the upper points I mentions the characters,plot,system and world is amazing. I hope if you can take take my suggestion into consideration and PLEASEEE post more chapters.

Dont know how this novel is getting popular. Good idea, but bad execution, bad plot, and worse characters all combine into a cringe dumpster.

It’s meh. Characters are flat and boring. Which is nothing new on Webnovel. World is fine. Plot feels like it’s meandering a bit. It lacks a goal or purpose. It’s a time filler. It does nothing new or interesting. But also nothing wrong depending on what you value. I value interesting characters. So it left me feeling a bit cold.

six chapters in and already found one of the worst novel i have ever read

I've enjoyed the story so far, my only regret is that I don't have money to spend on this so I have to rely on daily ads, Is there a discord server for the book or author?

Honestly, way better than I expected. I can see this novel becoming a top 50 novel in the future if it keeps its pace. Even when I first read Shadow Slave, it only had around 20 chapters and now it's consistently in first and I think this novel has the potential. While it's not completely original, no system novel is, however, this roleplay system seems very unique to me and an interesting take on the genre. I also often am surprised at the authors choices and in fact proud that she or he can avoid common tropes and mistakes. I am looking forward to this novel growing. It has potential, don't ruin it author or drop it. I will hunt you down.

I really loved it, I hope more comes out sooner. Hope that you continue this series. I just hope that the story explained more things better than just having huge paragraphs explaining what was happening like info dumps.

Honestly it should be studied how much CN novels produce brain dead people who produce novels based on the dead brain’ness of it all. God this is so awful and it has a freaking about 2mil views like damn it’s an epidemic at this point how much CN authors destroyed online novels for the whole internet. They pump the whole market with brain dead garbage junk food and people consume it like addict who can’t wait for his next fix of brain dead cancer CN MC’s and their harems of extremely beautiful women.

You'll notice that the people rating this novel badly are the ones who only read the few first chapters then stopped. Understandable, the MC feels like a cliched teenager at the very (very) beginning and the pace is bit slow so the story doesn't really take off immediately. BUT, it gets better and better the more you read it and I personally really like it! The MC isn't cliched at all actually and there are interesting side characters. We start seeing a bit more of the world and plot the author is developing and I, for one, got really invested....But, the updates are slow unfortunately so the enjoyment gets broken. I honestly just hope this won't be yet another unfinished novel on WN...

the idea is good but the novel became unbearable as I read deeper. I mean, he's the master of Fate, yet all he ever did was focus on martial arts. I literally skipped the entire Martial Arts Exams Whatever. If he wanted to be a martial artkist, he could've chosen a better roleplay not Master of Fate

This is good.. Pity I couldn't read the later chapters. Me is poor, me have money not.🥲

Read until locked chapters and I have to say it's an enjoyable read. I think I'll wait until it reaches at least 150 chapters before unlocking the rest of the chapters. You're doing well author!
