One of my favorites along with The Legendary Mechanic.

The writing quality is good, and overall it's nicely engaging and interesting. it's probably worth a read. I have one nitpick to give, which is simply my individual opinion. It's incredibly war-driven, and while that is it's nature, it's to an extent that it feels unbelievable given certain aspects hinted at in the novel. compared to other stories with humongous plot holes, crappy character design, and rampant fan service, this one stands apart. overall I give it a good review, but I'm dropping it bc it's not my cup of tea.

The choices the author makes are ridiculous, it's painful to read the decisions he makes the Mc make, and every other word someone has to 'flinch' at something. This is better than some, but it's gross and I don't like it.

idk, the whole feeding the slimes his family part literally immediately was also jarring
