Chapter 179: First Mission (2)

A few minutes later, Lake entered the transfer station, now fully suited and equipped. As he walked, he adjusted the various pieces of equipment hidden all over his body.

He wore a sleek, form-fitting black suit that seemed to blend into the shadows. The high collar transitioned into a full-face mask with a hood over it, leaving only his eyes exposed. A streamlined, reinforced vest hugged his chest and shoulders, with concealed compartments and integrated holsters. He had two specialized pistols in his holsters and several throwing knives and blades hidden all over his body.

His gloves and boots were also seemingly designed for silent movement and quick, lethal strikes. The entire outfit exuded an aura of lethal efficiency, which started to give Lake an idea of his purpose here.

As Lake walked up to the teleporter in the center of the station, he saw Liam, who was looking at him with an appraising glance.
