Chapter 165: The Bay

Many martial artists were scattered about, fishing out the monsters near the shore of the bay. They used various tools from rope spears to specially designed fishing rods that were able to drag out even the toughest of monsters from the deep waters.

Lake stood nearby and watched it all with passive eyes. He could see the shifting fates of everyone present and couldn't help but sigh.

"What are you planning in that head of yours now?" Kate asked as she eyed Lake suspiciously. Before they left the Stronghold, Lake had asked Kate to send out a gathering notice to everyone, asking them to meet up at the bay later.

After hearing news of the late-night hunting and remembering Lake's past actions, she couldn't help but feel that he was up to something that would cause her a headache later on.
