As the ambulance drove off, Evelyn quietly descended into thought.

Looking at Leah who was sleeping peacefully, she recalled the figure of the black hooded man.

Once the Gargoyle started fighting with the leader of the terrorists, the auditorium descended into chaos and everyone was busy worrying about themselves.

The room was collapsing as a result of the shockwaves between the two and in the wake of their destruction, many people were either injured or killed.

However, despite all that, all she could do was worry about her only friend who had been blown away by the Gargoyle's landing.

She couldn't move or get up so all she could see from her seat was Leah's body lying completely still on the floor.

Her heart was filled with panic as fear consumed her mind. In an instant, countless what ifs ran through her mind.
