I get out of bed like I do every morning and do my morning routine after that's done I leave my home and head to work most days it's the same old walk through the streets of London but this time it was different as I was walking I began to notice a strange scenes of everything stop moving I stop and look around confused as to what the hell is going on but just as suddenly as everything stoped it began to move again so I just assume I am still tired from the overtime I have been doing causing me to see things and continue on my way to work.

I arrive at my work place which is a large office building that looks old but still standing. I sign as I walk to the door and enter noticing the usual cheerful receptionist Ruby I greet her and head upstairs hoping that I do not need to work overtime today as it's supposed to be my birthday but my boss refused to allow me today off saying there are too many projects that need finishing.

The day in the office was uneventful same as always with one exception that I did not have to work overtime at least that was a bonus it's just that the projects were exhausting to complete. When the time came to leave i got up and left the office before any of my co-workers could ask me to join them for a drink at the local pub. As I was making my way home I heard a strange mechanic voice state (connect to host's mind... connection complete... Initializing system.... Initialization complete...) While hearing this I was busy trying to find where it came from however I fail to notice the large truck heading straight at me before it was too late as it hit me and everything went black.

In the Darkness the mechanical voice continues ( Selecting new world for host... World found... Beginning connection to the world.... Connection complete... World name Halo.... Merging host soul with new body... Merging complete... Detecting Artificial intelligence connected to the host's new body... Changing AIs parameters to benefit the host.... Changes complete.... Connecting AI to the system for host convenience... Connection complete... Beginning memory merge.... Memory merge complete... All parameters complete... Good luck host) I am still in darkness as memories of a life that was not my own start to flood my mind I had already accepted death but realised after what was being said I was given a new life in another world that's to this mechanical voice and by the name of the world I know which one I just hope when I wake up in this new world I can survive since if it's the halo world I know it's not going to be easy.

A/n i am putting this for those who read that are not me I know this is short but the main characters life before was not important as what's to come I may expand this another time if I think it needs more but for now this will do also expect chapter to be longer after this since this just covers the time before MC death and rebirth and the systems introduction just so you know The reason MC has system will come at a later date since MC will not know I thought it's better to find out when he does.
