Chapter 40 Arrival and Finding Out Which Universe Was Chosen

3rd person Pov

In a small system containing few planets a blue wormhole appears and from that wormhole a destroyer class ship emerges this ship was none other than the DSS Victory and to the crews suprise the entire system is devoid of any sighs of intelligent life and out of all the planets only one had breathable atmosphere although the planet itself was an icy tundra making it difficult to survive on without waiting Dark gave the order to approach the planet being that it was the only place to set up a base in the system.

As the ship approaches the planet Dark and the crew of the DSS Victory notice a Space station above the the icy planet seeing this they prepare for the worst case combat but as they continue to approach there was no communication sent from the station or any warning shots ether which is strange since it's common knowledge that they should ask why the strange ship was here or how it made a wormhole appear since no one in their right mind ignores something appearing and spewing out a ship it could have lead to a major security breach which could be costly to any civilization.

After waiting for awhile they continue to approach the station to see if there is any retaliation to their actions but to their suprise nothing happens to this Dark sends one of the sentinels he brought with him to look and after a few minutes he receives news stating that the station is empty after hearing this he orders the ship to approach the station and dock planning to use this station as it will save them time building their own and if their lucky they may find out where they are as well as if there is any immediate danger.

After the ship manages to dock to the station with a bit of difficulty due to the station being old as well as the lack of maintenance the automated docking mechanism was not working meaning it had to be done manually making a seemingly easy task much more tedious to accomplish but nonetheless it was done using a combination of the Spartans and sentinels which for those who know this combination never ends well.

Dark Pov

After the ship was docked I walk to the docking hatch of the Victory so I could see what I was working with luckily for us the stations life support systems were still functioning and was the only automated system on the station that had its own maintenance droids that were still functioning allowing us to enter the station without a space suit or Spartan Armour.

We arrive at the docking hatch fairly quickly with my team and a few security officers as well as some technicians with everyone carrying their equipment we enter the station to see a corridor that acording to scans raps all the way around the station getting in two places the north and south sides of the station these two areas appear to be hanger bays for smaller ships and fighters but what's more suprising is that I find this layout rather familiar but am unable to pin point from where this familiarity comes from.

As we continue to walk the corridor we reach the area that has a window that shows the planet below and as I see it I begin to have a thought but I brush it off thinking that its impossible for it to be that universe right as it would not be possible due to how crazy that universe is mad space wizards driven by power fight so called guardians who use the exact same power and are just a single step from joining the mad space wizards and infact one does "lets hope the command center of the station has some info on where we are while also hopping I am wrong" after saying this I can't help but let out a sigh [what if you are right what then] Destinys question is right what then I could try using their power to help me survive here before I can finish Destroy but in [ not going to work you are not from this universe you will not be able to use the force naturally you would need to understand the universal law that creates the force] I was not expecting that but I suppose it makes sense why would a universe give power to a invader.

After hearing this it makes this alot worse if I am right from the deadra book it's not easy to understand a Universal Law and if I do I can implement it into my domain but that's if I can understand it which acording to the book can take thousands of years I can only hope I am wrong as we arrive at the command center first thing I do is head to the nearby terminal to see if I can access anything to my suprise there's no security in the database and the data in the database appears to be intact but as I look through it not only are my thoughts confirmed but as I look I notice alot of data appears to have been deleted this should have been done when they abandoned this station after confirming mt thoughts I just order the others to setup and do what they can to protect the database since we will be using it to store our data.

After that I now had to have a team gathering to explore the planet that thanks to the stations database I know is Hoth that's right the planet that the Rebel Alliance used as one of its main bases against the Galactic empire however according to the database clock it's currently 60BBY meaning that it's before the Clone wars started hell it even before the events of the phantom menace this means I have time to fortify this system before all hell breaks lose although there's no guarantee that the wormhole that we came through did not as the jedi and sith put it create a disturbance in the force if it did than I may have a visit from ether or both if I am unlucky.

After finishing my thoughts I take out my communicater " prepare a landing team to find a location to set up a base we need to do this fast so we can we need to set our roots before we have any visitors incase we need to defend " after giving my orders I end the call than head back to the victory to set the orders of the sentinels since it's a large project that needs doing it's between to use a terminal to issue the order rather than my helmet display.

3rd Person Pov

Not long after Dark gave the order a drop ship was ready to go to the surface to which Dark give the order to proceed with caution since he had no idea what's on the surface or if there are any intelligent lifeforms down there since Hoth was never mentioned during the time before the Clone wars and was only first seen or heard about during the clone wars and empire eras but he can only wait to see if this will be easy or hard depending on what happens.

After about 2 hours the communication officer receives a communication request from the surface using out communication channel after receiving the report the communication officer reports it to Dark who was currently finishing up the orders for the sentinels which will begin to build a shipyard that consists of a construction yard in all four cardinal directions allowing it to buikd four ships at once this was not the only project he had them build a few defense plantforms although he was unsure if his current weapon capabilities will be able to damage the ships of this universe but its beter than nothing as he put the last command in his comunicater rang taking it out he accepts the call to see the comunication officer " sir the ground team found a collection of dug out caverns that look like an old base as per your order to be done as fast as possible they suggest making use of them" Dark nod at the officer indicating that he approves of this course of action seeing this the officer salutes before ending the call.
