Abyssal Firmament

"It took all of those Fallen and Devils to kill a person who only a few years into godhood, do they have no shame." I said after being killed by those fools. I thought it would be simple and my soul would decend to hell but for who knows how long I've just been floating in darkness.

Thinking back to my final moments I smiled mockingly remembering what I had on me before I got sent to the afterlife. "They thought that I had a treasure but it was only some abyssal runes that even if didn't understand and my soul was sent here before the devils or fallen could get their hands on it so maybe-"

Before I could continue I saw a bright light that even blinded me even though I had no physical body and was only a soul. By the time the light faded and I was able to see all I saw were flames upon flames but the surprising thing is were that they were white. They were the purest flames I have ever seen, they were purer than the sacred flame of the angels.

Lost in the comforting heat of the flames I was about to reach out and touch them until I heard a loud voice that shook my core. "Had enough boy? I have been watching you look at those flames like a sped kid for the past hour."

Almost coughing my lungs out from this guy's comment that made me question many things, I turned my head to face him and was shocked by what I saw. This guy...he was huge, no homo but bro is big, he was about 10 feet tall with gold hair and piercing azure eyes that seemed to see right through me. I felt my entire being naked before this man.

Finally mustering up the courage to speak I asked him the first thing on my mind.

"How do you know that term-"

"I read through your memories as soon as you showed up in my domain, your a very interesting and amusing mortal, Jin or would you prefer I call you by your title, the Immortal Asura?"

"Nah, no point in it now that I'm dead, but could you tell me what is going on here? I at least expected the gates or some old guy with a white beard listing all my crimes before banishing me to hell." I asked, seriously I see nothing here no gates or clouds. I knew that religion and the afterlife were just not as they were described. The mortal world's version is watered down at best, if they knew the truth who knows what would happen.

"You are in my domain, but before we continue let me introduce myself. My name is Kazier and you, my lucky mortal are about to get a second chance, well third in your case.

"Huh?" I asked confused and baffled by what I just heard. It was not a secret I was a reincarnated individual. Reincarnated individuals were the norm in the cultivation world, a fact that surprised me as I thought it was something meant to be kept secret, but since I was reincarnated from a mortal world nobody cared.

"Seems you really are sped, alright I'll say it slowly for you so you can understand-"

"I heard you the first time you ass muncher, I was just shocked!" I screamed if he wants to have a verbal battle we can go after all I was known for pissing people off beyond belief.

"I know what you're thinking and no. I've went through your memories and I don't want the smoke you give out so here is the deal, you will be reincarnated into a cultivation world with your memories intact like last time and don't worry those abyssal runes you have will follow you as well. It will still be in this omniverse but it will be in a completely different world in a completely different era."

"You can also get 3 wishes which can be anything except for some god-like system or something along those lines."

3 wishes, I better take some time to think about this as I know this opportunity will never happen again, so let's see what would I want.

"Give me the highest comprehension possible." I asked, Kazier said that the world I would be sent to would take place in a different world in a different era so best case scenario at least 20% of my current knowledge would be useful, worse case is everything I know is useless and I would have to start from scratch.

"Second, give me a primordial abyssal bloodline." I asked with a greedy smile on my face. Abyssal demons were broken beyond measure, they had access to every dao in creation and they didn't even have to train, fighting against them was the worst.

Kazier had his eyes open in complete shock but nodded his head. "That can be done and since it is kind of related to your treasure I'll just tell you what is is. Those runes are able to make your soul an abyssal soul which will make your transformation into an abyssal demon much easier and the bloodline can be applied when you use them on your soul."

My eyes opened wide in complete shock, changing the nature of your soul was almost impossible and having an abyssal soul while not being an abyssal demon was impossible no matter what so what he just dropped on me was a pipe bomb but I quickly recovered and gained my calm. I still needed to request my third wish I knew my time here was running low.

"My third wish is to have an adaptable body that is able to absorb all energies without dying if that is possible."

"Your first 2 wishes can be done as soon as I send you on your way but your last one will take a little while but don't worry I'll send you to a place most suitable for that new abyssal soul of yours." He said and before I could even say anything Kazier waved his hand and all I saw was that black space again but this time I knew what to do.

"Who would've thought this would've happened, if those pricks knew what those runes meant they would've made sure my soul went to the hells." I said as I laughed at the faces those losers were probably making as I summoned my qi to start inscribing the abyssal runes.

It was time for my abyssal rebirth.
