Desire

Looking at the dead carcass of Vestrial I snorted at his naivety as I vanished from the room.

I could feel it, his hesitation, his fear, he knew that staying behind in and asking me that question would lead to his death and he still did it anyway.

I don't know whether to respect his courage or laugh at his foolishness, oh well it doesn't matter now. Vestrial was a spy that I planted a while ago, at first it was to get me any information he could on the Immortal Blood Sect that I could use to advantage in case I ever decided to deal with them.

But several months back he came to me telling me that atmosphere of the sect seemed to have changed overnight. Everyone was serious and on edge, the tension and killing intent from all of the members were at a fever pitch and everyone was on high alert. It was as if a civil war could spark at any second.

Vestrial was investigating the reason for the dark cloud that was looming over the disciple's heads until it was suddenly announced that the Core and Prime Discipled of the sect would enter a recently discovered secret realm to increase their strength and find treasures.

No one knows where this secret realm came from and everyone who has asked has been intimidated into silence. The disciple went into the secret realm, and no one other than the sect elders and both leaders was present but when they returned a few weeks later everyone noticed something off about them, they gave off a fiendish aura and the way they acted was cruel, ruthless and depraved.

They didn't seem any different from the demons of Hell.

"Is the treasure that the Immortal Blood Sect wants to hide so much to the point where they even launched an attack against the royals an inheritance from the Nine Hells?" I asked, unable to believe the theory that just popped into my head.

If the sect stumbled onto an infernal inheritance then that would explain how Alucard snuck into this world. Each realm is almost infinite in size and new worlds are being discovered every second, only seven percent of the Godbeast Realm has been mapped out. There was no way Alucard randomly appeared here, Genesis must've been his target from the beginning so he could only use a Hell Gate and have the exact coordinates of Genesis before appearing here.

There was no way he came here by chance. This was all planned. The only question I have is who is in the shadows right now. Samyaza is here but he showed himself in front of me clear as day and while the Fallen might all be family that is eccentric and weird as fuck so it's not surprising if they screw each other over from time to time.

Samyaza knows that Azrael is here...I have to hurry up, my instincts is telling me that I don't want to miss what the Vice Sect Leader is going to do.

"Is this a scheme by the Fallen?" I asked myself before shaking my head

As I walked through the corridors of the academy I was about to open the final door that would lead me to the source of the screams and howls on the other side when I suddenly stopped and turned my head, only to be greeted with nothing.

Someone is here.

"Are you going to show yourself or do I have to force you out?" I threatened as my abyssal aura flared from my body making the air freeze to below sub-zero.

"It seems I have underestimated your senses Hakari, but unfortunately I can't allow you to go through that door." Said a charming and feminine voice as a blood-red flash appeared in front of me.

When my vision cleared I was greeted by the grace of a demoness of a woman. She had blood-red hair and scarlet eyes and was dressed in black and red armor that highlighted the curves on her body that seemed to defy reality. The armor had spikes on the knee and shoulder pads that have her a fiendish and bloodthirsty aura, she held a demonic spear in her right hand, and by just looking it was more than enough for my hair to stand on end. Her pale skin and fangs only made her more enticing, a single gaze from her was more than enough to ignite the flames of lust in all men.

But her beauty was the last thing I was focused on as a look of shock that I couldn't hide no matter how hard I tried appeared on my face and a feeling of unease crept into the pit of my stomach.

The reason for this feeling was simple but it was so hard to accept that my mind almost couldn't accept the mere conception of it.

I recognized the woman in front of me, but even more shocking than that was the aura that was coming off of her. It was an aura I was all too familiar with. An aura that would have even the most insane men run away if fear and horror.

This woman was a demon, a demon of the Nine Hells.

"Zatanna? You're a demon? Since when?" I asked after coming to accept the facts. Being shocked wasn't going to change anything but since she didn't attack me it was clear that she isn't here for a fight, at least I hope not.

Zatanna Zel Laurius, Matriarch of the Immortal Blood Sect arched her red cherry lips and giggle seductively, "Master said that you would easily point it out but seeing you do it so quickly is still surprising." She said, not answering my question immediately, "But as I was saying before, you can't go through that door. I won't allow it."

Master? Wait...it can't be.

"Zatanna, if you're here because of what happened to Talen you can't blame me for that in any way. He's the one who struck first, I was only defending myself-"

"Hakari, I don't care about a fucking waste that I should've abrorted." She interrupted coldly, but them looked at me with eyes the burned with the flames of desire, "What I am interested in though is you."

I finished the prologue finally lol. It was over 2300 words so you guys have something to look forward to in the future. I spent the past few days making a google doc for the Lore of FCO and the cultivation system I'm going to implement. This chapter is to keep you guys busy while I try to write the first 20-25 chapters of FCO. Sorry for the delay. How was this chapter and how is my way of describing things for you guys? I want to become a better writer so all criticism is welcomed.
