Priya vs Hakari

Breaking the sound barrier and appearing in front of Priya in an instant, I swing my blade at her neck with the intent to kill.

This was more than just a normal spar, Priya was kind of a battle maniac so every time we battled it was with the intent to kill every time. But it's not like I was complaining, battling while dancing on the edge of death is way more beneficial than just a friendly spar.

Right, when Night Firmament was about to draw blood I heard the air being cut as the whiplash caused severe damage to the ground as Priya escaped my probing attack with ease. Not letting up for even a second I immediately appeared behind her and sent a bunch toward her face.

My eyes widened in shock as I felt my fist completely stopped by the laws of space and time. Before I even realized that she used a spell I saw Priya turn around and smile at me while her voice sounded in my head, "This isn't like last time Hakari. I've been working on my angelic abilities, let me show you the power of beings who stand at the peak."

A golden white flame burst from her greatsword and the hairs on my neck stood on end as my body flared with abyssal arcana and sped away as fast as possible. Cold sweat drenched my back but there was something else that was making me feel weird.

When I first evolved and was training with the Hei I was getting my ass beat on a daily basis and would usually give into my anger when I was on the backfoot. Since this has been the first fight since then where I've been in this kind of position I thought that feeling would come back again but no.

Something else was teeming within me, something that has been caged for a long time and finally had enough of it and was now breaking free.

My Bloodlust.

My Endless Bloodlust.

A horrid scarlet black aura burst out of me as I assumed my true form for the first time in my life.

Scales darker than black covered with abyssal runes formed all over my body and a long tail that ended in the shape of a trident wrapped itself from my shoulder to my waist like a sash.

A dark smile formed on my face as I looked at Priya who finally brought out my true side. She showed no emotion but I could see the lingering fear deep in her eyes that was hidden by the sigils that currently occupied them.

I stood on my feet and spoke in a calm tone, a tone so calm that Heaven and Earth shivered in fear at the Immemorial monster that had awakened, "Well, you should be happy that you have driven me to this point. But I suggest that you fight like your life is really on the line because I won't stop until you are dead or someone stops us."

Before she could even respond I hit her to her face, I heard the crunching of her bones as her body flew away and crashed through the buildings. Flickering through space I appeared above her and stomped on her stomach with my foot cloaked in the Dao of Destruction.

Staring down at Priya sprawled at the bottom of the crater. I didn't move and just stared at her waiting for her to recover, I knew she wasn't injured at all. I've dealt worse damage to her in the past.

Not long after thinking that she finally got up and spat out blood and wiped the remainder of it from her mouth.

"Seems like you weren't kidding huh?" She questioned with a smile.

I didn't respond and just stared at her. The time for games was over.

Understanding my intent a serious look formed on Priya's face and we attacked each other without mercy.

I had long lost track of how long we fought but it didn't matter, my bloodlust had completely broken free and every strike I landed on Priya was with full intention to kill as hers was the same.

Anyone or anything that had the bad luck to come across us in our states ended up completely wasted. We had long left the area where the battle first started our battle, in fact I didn't even know we were currently despite the fact I had memorized the map of the academy.

I dodged a sword strike that threatened to split me in half and used my tail in an attempt to pierce her throat but was parried once again, but I was prepared this time.

My emblem manifested into reality as a dark and cold aura permeated the air.

"Cthonic Resolution"

An energy-only seen from the undead exploded and spread throughout the area.

"Alright, I think it's time to end this. This battle has gone on long enough" Said a calm and ethereal voice that made my body stop.

Looking at the man who spoke standing in front of me carrying an unconscious Priya and staring at me in contempt and disdain. He was handsome and had scarlet hair with golden scarlet eyes.

It's been a while since I last saw this man but he will always be imprinted into my memory. How could I not he was Priya's father after all but he was more than that, so much more.

The man gave me a smile that made my entire body feel cold and a frown formed on my face. I had no idea what I walked into but it seems that Priya and I were schemed against. Looks like he took advantage of Priya's interest in me and used this to get into contact with me. Although I don't see the reason why as he could've just appeared in front of me as Azrael did.

"What's up Hakari? How've you been?" Said the man as he began to heal his daughter's injuries.

I sent Night Firmament back into my soul and changed back into my human form as my injuries healed naturally.

"I've been fine but let's get straight to the point, what are you doing here Samyaza," I asked to one of the Seven Origonal Fallen, The Watcher of the Angels, The Leader of the Grigori, Samyaza.

I feel like I could've done better with this combat scene. What do you all think?
