Catching Up

I just stood there after saying the name of the person in front of me. Out of all the people I could have met in this situation it had to be her?!

Priya Lacroix, on the surface is one of the Prime Disciples of the Immortal Blood Sect with an otherworldly beauty, a demoness who toys with men at her will and can even enchant monks but little do they know that it is all a facade and what is under that mask is much more fearsome.

Why is she even here?! But coming to think about it with everything that's going on right now...Oh shit, that prick Azrael said three years max I thought I had time but it seems like that was just an illusion.

"Priya, why are you here? Seriously, do you just hate me that much to bodily appear in my presence like this? Your dad will kill me." I said solemnly while putting my guard up to its max. There were only three people other than those higher beings that could give me this type of feeling, my mother, Treysin and Priya.

I know damn well I won't be able to beat her, not as I am right now but I can for sure hold my own. By the looks of it the squad she came with must be the strongest squad possible but it seems that they are here just for show, Priya is going to do this by herself, after all, she did come for yours truly.

Priya smiled, completely not worried about her father losing his shit once he finds out, "Don't worry about that he won't kill you. He'll just torment you for eternity. Besides, he is already here."

"WHAT?!"

Priya giggled, clearly enjoying the horrible situation that I'm in but she then stopped and raised he hand and waved it as if telling me to calm down, "Don't worry. I have an artifact on me so he thinks that I'm still at home but that can only work for so long. He is eventually going to know I'm here, the only thing that matters is if he is going to see me by myself...or with you." Priya explained with a seductive smile.

"About that...how long have you been here and how long has he been here?" I asked as this was by far one of the most important questions right now. If she hasn't been here for a while then I can still maneuver and try to save myself, fuck the others they'll have to fend for themselves but if that's not the case then I'll have to live like a fugitive until I'm able to leave this universe.

"Well, I haven't been bothered to keep track of that lately but what I will say is that he had been here longer than I have and has big plans for this place so he'll be damned if he lets anything go wrong with-"

"Hold up. Who the fuck is this bitch?!" Siana questioned as she and the girls decided to chime in.

I completely forgot they were here. I thought they were unconscious or would have already escaped somewhere else by now.

Priya turned her head towards Siana, narrowed her eyes, and spoke in such a cold tone that a premonition of death was felt by everyone in the area, "Hakari, who is this bitch?"

Before I could even reply and warn Siana to back off before she said something she would regret and get us all killed she responded with a smirk of disdain, "Bitch do you really think because you are the Prime Disciple of a mere Immortal Blood Sect that you can talk to me in such a condescending matter?"

"Siana stop. There is something you need to know before you say something you-"

"Shut the fuck up. Don't you dare interrupt this queen?" Siana threatened with a cold killing intent

I frown formed on my lips at Siana's response but surprisingly instead of anger I was calm, very calm. I was calm to the point it was scary.

I smiled and just shook my head. If she wants to court death then who am I to stop her? She's a grown-ass woman over two thousand years old, she can make her own decisions.

Siana frowned at my lack of response and facial expression but before she could ask why I didn't respond to her threat her eyes and mouth opened wide as her face paled and turned towards the source of the massive explosion of an angelic aura.

There Priya stood in the air with large white feathered wings and white hair flowing in the wind as a golden aura flared around her body, illuminating the world with her angelic grace. It was then that everyone knew who this person was and that the identity of Priya Lacroix, Prime Disciple of the Immortal Blood Sect was nothing more than a facade. What Priya Lacroix really was is the being looking down on everyone with disdain and contempt, as if she was disgusted that such lower beings were even in her presence let alone glaring at her in awe.

Priya Lacroix was an angel, well she is actually a Nephilim but they don't need to know that do they? Well, not that it matters.

The sound barrier exploded and all I saw was a blur that headed toward Siana at speeds that surpassed the speed of light and concluded with an explosion that send the world in fear and gave off the feeling of armageddon.

Flickering through space to get as far from the blast as I possibly can I turned back and saw the destruction caused by the attack Priya landed on Siana. The ground was completely destroyed and the remains of the squads Priya arrived here with were nowhere to be found, that attack destroyed them completely not even their ashes remained.

I had no clue where the rest of the girls were but my instinct told me they were still alive, they were not in the area anymore but they were alive.

"Now that the ant is out of the way I think it's time for us to catch up. Don't you agree Hakari?"

Closing my eyes and smiling I opened them again and turned to look at Priya with her weapon pointed at me with a smile full of battle intent.

"You really haven't changed huh?" I asked and laughed as I summoned Night Firmament. I needed it if I wanted to stand a chance against this angel.

"Oh?" Priya exclaimed in surprise as she stared at the black katana in my hand and the battle intent grew feeling the power of the weapon, "This weapon is very strong. Have you used it yet?" Priya asked with a mocking smile.

I scoffed at this demoness teasing, "These ants aren't qualified for me to bring out my weapon. You're an exception though."

Priya showed a shocked expression and then that changed into a peal of maniacal laughter that echoed throughout the area.

"The last time we battled my father came and almost killed you and while you are not at your full potential as your innate abilities are still sealed I can tell by your growing strength that it won't take much longer before they are unlocked and you are finally unrestricted. I have to use this opportunity before the playing field gets evened and eventually becomes one-sided." Priya explained and released her peak Heavenly Transformation aura, "Show me how much you have improved Abyssal Demon."
