Damn. I'm sure that they have no idea that it's me but they know that the hit on Zantar was planned. Well, better them than fucking Zamir and Leonel, Mizuki and Irani will ask me questions but they have nothing solid and it's not like they know that I know that they looked at me.

My holocube rang and I pulled it out and answered it only to see the face of my dear elder brother Rizen. "Rizen what is it? Why are you calling me?" I asked confused by his sudden call. I thought we agreed on not to contact each other until the announcement started since we have no idea whether it would be delayed for the investigation or not.

Rizen chucked, "I saw what Duan Ru Feng did. Nice work I gotta say, honestly little bro you have impressed me. But aren't you afraid of the punishment you will face for failing uncle's little challenge?" he asked with a sinister grin that sent a chill down my spine.

I never really bothered with the punishment as if worst comes to worst I'll just screw my dear uncle over at every opportunity, after all, I am not tied to a faction while Trey has to sponsor TP. But if I honestly think about it he really can't do anything, he only said that if I decide to kill Zantar I have to be the one to do it and he never said anything about crippling even though it was the option that he preferred, I'm guessing he thought that I really wanted to kill him so he gave me that mandatory task.

I rolled my eyes at my brother's grin, "Rizen the challenge was for me to be the one to kill Zantar, he was crippled and it wasn't by me and Trey never said anything about me having to do it if I do decide to go with that plan."

"True but what about now. The whole parliament territory is sealed off and the interrogation is ruthless. The randoms are not even being asked questions anymore and are immediately being soul searched, turning them into drooling retards waiting for their sippy cups."

I rolled my eyes at his report. Soul Searching was seen as taboo in the cultivation world due to its aftereffects of it but that is because they have the half-assed version. The whole version will cause no damage to the soul unless the practitioner feels like it. I'm pretty sure that the technique was created by devils or a devil cultivator at least, while I have the complete version I'm sure that devil does as well.

I had no idea that Rizen had actually known about this. I was actually going to use this info during the meeting with Duan Ru Feng to give him more motivation on doing the hit in Royal Parliament territory but I didn't want him to draw any theories and gain leverage on me so I just kept it to myself. But now that everything is done we can now focus on Tanya, this bitch needed to die and I wasn't sure if her mother was in the academy or not but I know some Immortal Blood Sect disciples are here, the prime disciple being one of them. The crown prince is in one of the best positions right now and will be for a good while so going after him now is pure foolishness, not that I have to go after him anyway.

"Well since you know then I should let you know that you shouldn't go after the crown prince at this time. He will have other things to worry about."

"I know. There is a faction within the Royal Parliament that wants to overthrow him and you have successfully drawn out the leader, even I was surprised when I saw it was the Vice Leader. Guess even those closest to you will plot on your downfall."

I took in what Rizen had said deeply it is one of the reasons why I stay mysterious and keep to myself as much as I can. The fewer people know the better. A motto I've always lived by is never put too much trust in friends and learn how to use your enemies. I regained focus and looked back at Rizen virtual figure, "Well for now we just have to wait. Also, that devil who is with the sponsors--"

"I know. He's been under surveillance and so far nothing seems out of the ordinary, but that's only from a distance, we haven't got up close to him so we can only work from virtual recordings and images. But this devil should have some backing for sure, whether it is a marquess, duke ot prince remains to be seen."

I nodded my head and rose from my bed, "Alright then keep me posted. For now, I'm going to use this time to gain more combat experience and gain more comprehension of my dao. The angels will be coming soon and although we still won't be their match at least we won't be scrubs or cannon fodder of the Federation, I want to have the best start in the Realm of Dao possible."

Rizen shook his head and said with a smile, "You know it's impossible to start at Dao King or Dao Emperor right? The highest you'll reach is Dao Sublimination, the most difficult realm in the Realm of Dao and that is especially in your case since you're using the Dao of Space and the Dao of Time, and in order to reach that you need to be at the sixth layer of dao comprehension in both of them before you reach Heavenly Transformation. Even if you reach the peak of the fifth layer if you break through before then you will only be at the peak of dao transformation."

I nodded my head, "I know and I'm not worried about that, just keep an eye on the prince. We need to know his goals and is that devil is his master." I said before Rizen nodded and hung up.

I was about to leave but I stopped as I heard an announcement that rang its way throughout the entire campus of the academy, no matter who the person was, where they were, or what they were doing they all heard it.

"Hello, students and teachers of the academy. Starting right now all restrictions and rules of the academy are now null and void, all students and teachers are now free to do whatever they want to their heart's content. Murder, rape, destroy, blackmail, torment, capture, or enslave it is all legal and anything goes. I won't wish any of you all the best of luck as that means nothing, only power does. The strong will survive and thrive while the weak will only have themselves to blame." said the cold and regal voice of Riff Yamato, Emperor of the Federation of Darkness.
