"Well look who's asking the important question." I smiled and flickered back to my previous position using the Dao of Space.

Zatanna sighed in annoyance as she turned around, "Fucking Space Cultivators. I forgot how annoying you guys are."

I shrugged, "Not my fault or problem and as for your question you are correct but I'm not giving you the answer, it's just not necessary." I said and walked towards the door.

"What do you mean?" Zatanna asked and began to follow me from behind.

"You're a demon from the Nine Hells and while you're not as intelligent as Devils you're definitely knowledgeable about many things. You'll find out what I am if you live long enough, although you knowing what I am will most likely give me more trouble than it's worth."

"What makes you say that?" She asked.

I stopped and turned around to give the 'Are you serious right now' look. Everyone with common sense knew not to trust demons and devils. They were beings who only knew how to betray and if she knew I was an Abyssal Demon she wouldn't hesitate to tell Alucard. He would probably plant a slave mark in my soul and use me as a puppet.

Realizing the look I was giving her she laughed and raised her hands in surrender, "I'm joking. But you should know that I don't tell my master everything I know. He allows me some freedom at least."

"Don't care. It still doesn't change the fact that I'm not telling you." I smiled, "You are welcome to stick around and find out for yourself though."

I stopped in front of the door and frowned when I could sense nothing behind the doors.

There was no sense of life behind the door, there was no killing intent, no battle or bloodlust, and there wasn't even any ill intent.

There was just nothing.

Sighing as I knew I was about to walk into a shitshow I turned around again to gaze at the smiling Zatanna, "What is behind this door?" I asked.

"I don't know." She responded in what would've been a convincing manner if she wasn't smiling and giggling while she gave me her answer.

She then reached out her open palm and gave me a choice I was secretly waiting for her to offer.

"Why don't we strike a deal?" Zatanna smiled, "You tell me what you are and I tell you what is behind the door."

Is this woman serious? Even if I was smoking up laced crack I would never accept such a deal. I don't think Zatanna knows my real strength which is something that I feared since she was far stronger than me.

There was no way I was taking the deal and shaking her hand but that didn't mean that I was not going to make use of her. It seemed that Zatanna knew a bit about the Primeval Universe, obviously not from personal experience but from her master Alucard. I was going to be in the Primeval Universe for a long time, probably for at least ten years so I had to make connections and establish a solid foundation.

It seemed that Zatanna was very capable of helping me with that based on the knowledge she possessed about the Primeval Universe, the secret of Zantar's bloodline is an excellent example of this. Speaking of which I should probably go and heal him unless Alucard became a snitch and told him that I had something to do with the attack on him which is a very likely situation since Zatanna is so sure that I had planned the whole thing out.

'Don't even bother trying to heal Zantar, he is already in our hands." Zatanna chided as if she was ready for my mind, making a chill rise on my spine.

I frowned but then sighed, "I'm guessing he's already healed and you guys have activated his bloodline huh?" I asked.

But surprisingly Zatanna didn't answer and said, "I have no idea. All I know is that Zamir accepted a deal with Alucard and that Zantar is in his hands and he's been with master ever since. I have no idea of his current situation."

I backed up on fear at the implications of this news. Imperial Demon QIlins were feared for a reason, if Zantar awakens his bloodline it would be damn near impossible to kill him. The Imperial Branch in the Primeval Universe would hunt me down relentlessly.

If I was going to have some peace in the Prinvela Universe I had to deal with this situation. The Primeval Universe was already a warzone full of schemes and chaos, the last thing I need is one of the strongest families to be my enemy, at least not as weak as I am now.

Well looks like I might have to make this deal. But not the deal she thinks I'm making.

I raised finger at in the air that gained Zatanna's full attention, "Alright, I'll accept you deal but not the kind your are thinking." I said which gained me a look of confusion from her, "First of all this won't be a deal but a partnership. I will join you on your journey to the Primeval Universe but this will not be reported to Alucard. In fact you will not have to worry about him anymore." I stated with a smile.

Once I break through to the Realm of Dao I'll unlock my full Abyssal heritage, granting me a bunch of new abilities. I'm sure breaking slave marks from a mere Realm of World Devil was child's play.

Zatanna opened her eyes wide and her scarlet eyes gleamed with joy before they dimmed back into cold indifference but I was smiling inwardly as she had taken the bait and the trap was set.

I got her now.

"So Zatanna, are you willing to enter a partnership with yours truly?" I arrogantly proclaimed with a shit-eating grin.

Sorry for not uploading a chapter of A.F. for nearly a month. I Lowkey lost motivation for this novel for a little bit but I won't drop it. I will finish it. But I do have another story that I've been posting. It's called Underworld: Carbon so check it out. If you have any questions about it comment and I'll answer the best I can.
