Naruto: Different Perks

The whole village was mourning for the casualties in the Nine-Tails Attack Incident that happened three nights ago.

In the cementary, a six-year-old little boy stood with a blank expression on his face, and he looked at two graves in front of him.

Looking at the graves of his parents, the boy wiped the tears flowing from his eyes, and he tried hard to not cry.

The little boy's name is Kazutora and he is a reincarnated person.

Three days ago, during the night of the Nine-Tails Incident, Kazutora awakened his memories of his past life.

At that moment, just as he was about to say something to his parents, a roar was heard by the whole village, and Kazutora lost consciousness because of the roar.

The next day, when he woke up, he found out that his parents had died because of the Nine-Tails, and they gave their lives to save him, who had lost consciousness.

Kazutora's parents were friends with Shinku Yuhi, and while they were taking him to the safe place, they met him. There, his parents asked Kurenai to take him away to a safe place.

They were both Jonin Level Ninjas, so with Shinku Yuhi, the trio went to save other lives and prevent the Kyuubi from killing others. In the process, they lost their lives so it wouldn't be wrong to say that Kazutora's parents gave their life away for him and many other people in the village.

Now, looking at the graves of his parents, Kazutora didn't know what to say, and he wondered if he could have saved them if had awakened his memories before.

Kurenai gave a smile to Kazutora and she thought of what happened three days. Her brows furrowed at the thought, but she didn't let Kazutora see her expression and silently wiped the tear that flowed down to her cheeks.

Holding his hand, Kurenai walked towards her house, and from time to time, she would look at Kazutora to see his face. Seeing that he still had a blank look on his face, Kurenai understood that the death of his parents had hit him hard.

'I will help him come out of the grief and take care of him, uncle and aunt.' Kurenai said in her heart, and she walked slowly to her house with Kazutora.

As for Kazutora, he was looking at the gift box in front of him, and he was waiting to reach her house and open the gift box there. He didn't know what would happen when he opened the gift box, and for this, he wanted to open it when he was alone.

"Big Sister, what about my clothes and things?" Kazutora asked Kurenai in between and this woke her up from her thoughts. She looked at Kazutora as she heard the words, and gently, Kurenai said, "I will take care of this matter. For now, let's go to our house and eat there. You must be hungry since you haven't eaten anything since yesterday."

As soon as Kurenai said the words, Kazutora's stomach made grumbling sounds, and Kazutora froze at it. He looked down and started to walk faster, and this made Kurenai chuckle.

"Haha, it seems your tummy is asking for food, I will take you away," Kurenai let out a chuckle, and she pulled Kazutora towards her. Holding his body close to her, she used chakra to speed up, and Kazutora, who was now touching her, moved his hand around her waist as he didn't want to fall in between.

The duo disappeared from the place, and a few minutes later, they arrived at a double-story house. Looking at her house, Kazutora had a thoughtful look on his face and he followed Kurenai inside.

'The house is big enough for two people to live. This means that I will have my room, and after having food with her, I will ask her to show me my room so that I can take a rest.'

Kurenai smiled as Kazutora looked around curiously. She was glad that he could focus on other things instead of wallowing in sadness.

"Go, and wash your hands, and then sit down at the dining table. I will serve the food, and we will eat together." Kurenai said while pointing in the direction of the washroom, and Kazutora looked in the direction.

He nodded at her words and went to wash his hands while Kurenai went into the kitchen to serve the dishes that she had prepared before meeting him at the cemetery.

After Kazutora was done washing his hands, he went to sit in his chair. He looked in the direction of the kitchen and saw Kurenai serving the dishes with a slight smile on her face.

'If my parents weren't friends with Uncle Shinku, then I would live alone at my house, right?'

Kazutora thought in his mind, and he knew that he would have to live alone in the house. Thinking of other children who would live alone, a sigh escaped his lips and Kazutora lamented at this broken world.

It would have been easy for him to live alone as he has memories from his past life, but he didn't understand how other children could live alone.

Kurenai said while keeping a gentle expression on her face, but she didn't know that her other hand was clenched tightly. This was a scene by Kazutora, who understood that she was trying to help him, and he reached out to hold her clenched hand.

"You too, Big Sister! Here, eat with me. From now on, you can think of me as your little brother, and we will be a good family." Kazutora said while holding Kurenai's hand, and she froze at his words.

Kurenai looked at Kazutora, who looked at her with a slight smile on his face, she couldn't hold it anymore. Tears started to fall from her eyes, and Kurenai pulled Kazutora in a hug.

"Uuuuu! Kazu! Dad and others! Uuuuuu!" Kurenai cried while hugging tightly, and Kazutora rubbed her back with tears falling from his eyes too.

Both of them cried while thinking of their parents, and with this, a bond was formed between the two people who were in the same condition.
