8 Anko arrives at house!

The next day in the morning, when Kurenai opened her eyes. She found herself holding a soft pillow in her hand.

Looking down, her eyes fell on soft white hair, and she felt some warm breath on her chest.

Her expression changed and just as she was to get up, she heard rhythmic sounds of breathing, and Kurenai stopped.

Her eyes fell on her hands around Kazutora's body, and she understood that while sleeping, she had hugged him as a pillow.

Quietly, she got up from the bed, and Kurenai looked at Kazutora sleeping on the bed with an innocent look on his face.

'How cute! I didn't expect that I would sleep like a log. Well, it should have happened considering that I haven't slept for three days.'

Kurenai thought in her mind, and she got up from the bed. Slightly stretching her body, she walked out of the room.

At that moment, she heard a knock on the door and Kurenai's expression changed. She walked to the door and from the hole, she saw Anko standing there with an annoyed look on her face.

Opening the door, she looked at Anko and saw her eyes widening.

"Come in," Kurenai said while turning around but she was stopped by Anko.

"Wait! Wait! Wait! What is this?" Anko said while pointing at her chest, and Kurenai looked down. Her eyes fell on the wet mark on the cloth, and she remembered Kazutora sleeping in the room.

"It's nothing," she said as understood that Kazutora had drooled on her, and a chuckle escaped her lips.

"What do you mean by nothing??" Anko asked with her eyes widened and she rushed inside. Seeing her like this, Kurenai frowned, and she saw her rushing to her bedroom.

Her expression changed but before she could catch Anko, Anko opened the door and shouted, "Caught ya, bastard!"

Kurenai froze at the words, and she saw Anko also freezing and staring at the scene with a stunned look on her face.

Anko's eyes fell on the little white-haired boy sleeping on the bed and the words that were about to come out of her mouth stopped.

She saw the boy twitching, and then the boy got up on the bed and rubbed his eyes.

When he opened his eyes to look at her, Anko looked at his blue eyes and she heard his confused voice that was full of sleep.

"What is it, big sister?"

Kazutora said while rubbing his eyes and he looked at the girl on the door. When he looked clearly, he saw that the person at the door wasn't Kurenai but someone else.

"Who?" Kazutora said and he saw her rushing at him. Before he knew it, he found his cheeks getting pinched and he heard the girl's words.

"Ohh! How cute! Did you just call me big sister? Umm! That's good!" Anko squealed as she pinched Kazutora's words despite his annoyance.

Then, she found herself getting pulled by the waist, and looking back, she saw Kurenai pulling her with an annoyed look on her face.

"Get away, Anko, and let him sleep," Kurenai said as she pulled Anko away from her and then held her in one hand.

"Kazu, you can go back to your sleep. Forget about the minor disturbance and have a good sleep."

Kurenai said while rubbing his head, and before he could reply, she took Anko away from the room and closed the door.

Kazutora looked at the closed door, and he understood who the girl was. Still, he didn't think much and as he felt sleepy, Kazutora closed his eyes and soon he went to the realm of dreams.

Outside, Kurenai stared at Anko with an annoyed look on her face and she looked at Anko sneaking glances at the room.

"So, Kurenai, who is he? Where did find such a cute little boy?" Anko asked with a mischievous smirk on her face, and she missed the feeling of pinching his cheeks.

"What are you doing here?" Kurenai asked coldly, not answering her question, and seeing her like this, Anko understood that she was angry.

"Hmph! I thought that someone would be feeling sad, so I came to spend time with her, but it seems I am not needed here."

Anko said with a humph, and she saw Kurenai's face softening at her words. Knowing that the trick had worked, even though her intentions were the same, Anko looked at the door and asked, "So, now tell me, who is he? You don't look similar, except for the contrast between eye colour and hair, and both being cute when at this age."

Her words made Kurenai laugh, and knowing that her plan was successful, Anko now waited for her words.

"He is the son of a friend of my father. Now he is going to live with me as my adopted brother." Kurenai said while giving Anko a sad look, and Anko understood the meaning behind her words.

A sigh escaped her lips as she understood that they were the same in this matter, and Anko said, "Hmm, you did a good thing. With this, you won't feel lonely, and he will also have someone to take care of him."

"Yeah,"

"Also, since he is cute and pleasing to look at, and he might have to remain alone when you are on a mission, I wonder if he would mind having another big sister?"

"He shouldn't! Huh, wait? What did you say?" Kurenai exclaimed as she heard Anko's words and saw her smiling mischievously.

Seeing her not answering, Kurenai felt annoyed, and she put her hand on her shoulders. With a serious look on her face, Kurenai stared into her eyes and said, "Anko, you won't do something that will make me regret and then beat you so much, right?"

Kurenai, who knew about Anko's antics and her personality, had a dangerous glint in her eyes. She stared at Anko and seeing that she nodded, the dangerous glint in her eyes subsided and Kurenai smiled at her.

Anko wiped the sweat on her face, and she never thought she would Kurenai like this. In her vision, the usual Kurenai is a big sister type who is calm and polite with others giving a pleasant feeling, but now she feels that Kurenai has transformed into a tigress protecting her cub.

"Kurenai, You!" Anko said and saw her smiling with a not-so-smiling expression on her face. Anko gulped back the words she was about to say, and she acted as if nothing happened.

"Now that you are here, help me in cleaning the house," Kurenai said while changing the matter, and Anko's face showed annoyance at the words.

"I will go and prepare breakfast while you can clean the first floor.

"Only first floor!?" Anko asked and seeing the knowing expression on Kurenai's face, she understood that she had already thought of her thoughts.

"Hahaha!" With an awkward, Anko went to pick the mop, and Kurenai shook her head at Anko's antics. Surprisingly, she didn't feel as much annoyance as she felt before at her behavior, and this made Kurenai wonder if something was wrong with her.
