Synopsis

(Series is paused) worlds, 13 different major races, 1 tower that resets every hundred years. But before one climb the tower, they must attend the Tower Academy. Tower and academies, the author sure is bold to use 2 different genres for one novel, well I'm the protagonist, Perseus Silver, so follow my life journey throughout this fictional story where 4th walls are broken and where I journey my way to conquer this tower and academy with my lovely female lead. And besides, apparently there are mythological figures who are actually real, man, this stuff sucks, but it's too late for regrets. So action, adventure, romance, comedy...I'm sure the author was lazy to write different novels so he just wrote all the genres into one...that dumb idiot better make me look good. P.S. Yes, there will be romance, but I can assure you that the mc will have no harem despite his wishes. Chapter 1Chapter 1: Welcome to Tower Academy

Perseus POV

Welcome readers, my name is Perseus. Perseus Silver. I'm the protagonist of this novel, cool, right?

I am currently leaving home to head to the Tower Academy on my first day after my break after my high school graduation, my birthday is April 21, and I am currently 18 years old. And I have only one family member, a beautiful older sister who will be introduced later.

I am 176cm tall, I have light brown skin and dark brown eyes, and I stand out with my silver colored hair, yeah, I know, my name is Silver and I also got silver hair, but I'm the protagonist, so don't question it.

I would say I look plain, but let's be honest, even plain looking fictional characters are more attractive than all you readers combined. But I wouldn't rate myself either.

If you guys go touch some grass and get some proper exercise instead of spending your time here can you refute my point about your looks.

Anyway, I will let myself be the distraction for your wasteful, pitiful and maidenless lives and let you pass your time. Now I will stop myself from further grilling you guys and introduce my world because I'm pretty sure you guys have feelings...right?

So if you actually read the summary, our novel has a tower that rest every hundred years, there are 110 floors, the first 10 being called the tutorial floors and the academy are located at all the tutorial floors near the floor's way point and have their own teleport points where as long as you're a student, you can teleport between each floors of the academy.

A couple hundreds of years ago, Earth, our world, and 12 others were brought together by 13 unknown gods who created a giant portal in each worlds. We were all alien towards each other and that created conflict between each race but the gods calmed everyone down through a peace talk.

They would sometime sponsor raiders, which is what we call the people who climb the towers, we called the sponsored, saints, regardless of race of genders.

13 different worlds, then they are 13 different major races; humans, elves, dwarves, vampires, ghouls, faeries, orcs, goblins, giants, gnomes, dwarves, nature spirits, and beast folk.

To enter the tower, one must be granted permission by the system, the tower system, unusually at 18 years of age, though unlike most novels, this systems doesn't have levels or stats, just basic information like race, age, name, permissions, and class and stuff.

It isn't a must to join the academy, but you'll get a lot more benefits from doing so, most raiders aren't really friendly as you climb, so the best benefit is to befriend others and create a party as you attend the school.

But let's not waste any time now, time for Tower academy and make my debut.

*****

Cordelia POV

I'm Cordelia Laguna, I'm a naiad, a female water spirit. I recently turned 18 and I have grown to 170cm tall, a perfect height, not too tall and not too short. I have azure colored hair and sapphire colored eyes. I can pass for a human, my skin is smooth white and nature spirits vary in looks, only thing that stands out is that humans don't usually have natural blue hair.

I need to make sure my uniform is on point, I don't want to make a bad impression at the academy now. I am currently living on Earth though, my father moved to live with the human world after a promotion and it's honestly not that bad.

But I'm nervous, this will be the first time where I will attend the academy where all the races gather. I packed all of my items in my spatial storage and make sure to not forget anything as I will now leave home and go on to live in the dorm on the 5th tutorial floor.

I then went down to eat my breakfast and finally leave this house.

I got down to see only my father, brother, and mother greet me. My father, Brooke Laguna, is 109 years old and work as the police chief and he looks about in his 60s in human years, my brother, Struan, 60 years old, look to be about his 30s and work as a detective, and my mother, Marella, 80 years of age, look to be in her late 40s, the only one in our house to have light blue hair and is a housewife.

"Well sis, be sure to show them your talent, if you're good enough, you might get the attention of a clan early." Struan said

"Are you guys sure that you're not opposed to me climbing the tower? The death rate is very high, people die even in the tutorial floors outside the academy."

"And that is why you have to join the academy instead of instantly becoming a raider from the get go." Dad reasoned "Get friends, create a party or join a clan, with your god given talent, you're sure to become one of the named in the future."

"Those are the top 100 raiders whom the 13 gods acknowledged to give them a nickname." I replied "That's almost impossible."

"Almost." Mom emphasized "Trust me, even the top 13, the ranked, didn't thought it was possible, but they worked hard, besides, the tower reset 2 years ago, you may have a chance."

I then dug in my breakfast but it seems like my dad and brother want to tell me something as they kept gesturing at each other and me.

"What...is it?" I asked nervously and hesitantly

"Well you know how my status will get you in trouble, right?" Dad asked

"I already know self defense, you know, magic and martial arts."

"I know, but in the tower, it's going to be a lot different, so I already have someone to look out for you."

"Oh no, are you one of those fictional dads who abused his position and authority to send a subordinate to stalk me at school?"

"You know that's impossible." Struan chuckled "Don't worry, he's around your age, you're born on March 9th, so that would make you older since he's born on April 21st."

"And how is a guy my age supposed to help?"

"His name is Perseus Silver, dad has purposely kept him away from you, you should know him, human, silver hair."

"OH, I caught a glimpse of his back before." I realized

I saw him through a door crack sitting on a couch talking to my brother and dad before they chased me away. It happened several times, so I just thought that they're discussing important work with a subordinate.

But a guy my age working with a police chief, that seems like someone trustworthy and at the same time, he would be someone with great talent.

"Don't worry, you should recognize him the moment you set your eyes on him." Struan reassured "He's the only human with natural silver hair, a bit good looking, have muscles, but not too muscular and is lean, dark brown eyes."

"How good is he?"

If my dad and brother have this much trust in a person, it means that they are trustworthy and talented, and since this is a person my age...that means that he's a prodigy.

"Oh he's good." Struan laughed "Dad didn't want you to meet him since he's exactly your type."

Makes me want him even more and I haven't even seen his face.

"You may be a genius, but you won't compare to him." my brother continued "His sister is a named."

That got my attention. A named, a top 100 raider. A person has to be both talented and hard working to reach such a position, and that means the sibling should be also talented compared to a normal person.

"Not just that, his talent surpasses his sister even." Dad added grumpily "Meet him and make friends with him, if any trouble arises, you can count on him to protect you on our behalf."

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a tone that was somewhere between annoyance and disappointment. "You can’t outsmart Scrients! They’re the most intelligent beings across the two realms!" "You’re right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a solemn sigh. "I made a mistake. I was arrogant to think a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "...Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I’m not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait! You can’t. I killed them all." --- My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid and pointless scuffle. And in the middle of it, I tripped and smacked my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in… Memories of a different life. Memories of another world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First: I was inside a game I used to play in my past life. Second: I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool, mysterious, tragic kind either! No, I was the worst kind of cliché — a spoiled, insufferable, and arrogant young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. You know the type! The one everyone hates. The one the hero would beat into the ground to show everyone just how strong and righteous he is. Yeah. I was that guy! My fate was to be a stepping stone for the main characters, be manipulated by a Demon Prince, and die a dog's death. And the hero? The hero was the same kid I’d been bullying all this time. The one I just got into a fight with. He was supposed to be the savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And waiting at the end of it all was the final antagonist. The unbeatable nightmare. …The Spirit King. But could I even make it to the end? Could I really survive in a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that had now become my reality? “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could. But I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, altering the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains long before they could become threats — nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected by my actions? Excellent! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me. My survival. My life. My choices. “I’ll live this life with no regrets.” ...But as I soon discovered, fate wasn't so easily changed. And the price of rewriting your destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR
