Chapter 53: Our parents are gods, dude

Perseus POV

The moment I selected the raiders who is joining me on this quest, the rest of the students and everyone else for that matter disappeared as we were forcibly teleported to the open area of the hunting floor.

The rest got teleported too, Elliot seems to be napping before he got woken up on the grass field because he's still in his pajamas while Richard was probably watching a movie as I see a bowl of popcorn on his lap.

"What the?" Elliot then got alarmed by the notification in front of him "Floor erased? This type of quest has never happened before?"

"Yeah, are they trying to break the agreements or something?" Richard agreed

"Guys, it's not the admins, the true gods are behind this one." I explained "The admin can't control these ones and can only issue quests and perks that is as advantageous as possible to us, so I picked you guys."

"You got a perk and you picked these 2?" Elliot pointed at Emma and Lia "No offense, the ones in your division are ones I can trust since I can sense that they are indeed better than some possible 100 members, but these 2?"

"I don't want to reveal my identity to anyone else, especially not the bird or the fucking slime."

"What identity?" Elliot questioned "Everyone already know you as the silver prince or whatever."

"I've seen her before, one of your previous lovers, perhaps?" Richard asked pointing at Emma

"You can say that."

"So why is she here? It doesn't really make sense."

"I don't think you guys will take 'cuz she's hot' as an answer, right?"

The beasts, I can sense that they'll be at where we are about 2 hours tops, so we got time to prepare. And for me to lighten up the mood that a floor might be destroyed if it's not taken care of, the 2 rankers immediately got their gears out and armed themselves quickly as I joked around.

The 2 noticed the speed of the beasts too but it seems that they are still remaining calm and collected.

"Boss, please stop embarrassing us here." Bora requested "Seriously, what is an admin or a true god you all been talking about? Us 3 are clueless here, you just told us to be ready for battle at any time and a notification popped up saying this floor might be destroyed and next thing we know, we're here."

"No, seriously Perseus, why did you bring these 2 if you can pick anyone?" Elliot asked "And don't joke around or I'll seriously smack the shit out of you."

"Not just that, it seems like you expected this to happen, so tell us about that 2." Richard added

"Oh, the old man who I told you is my father told me, he's one of the true gods."

Sure enough, the face of the 2 jolted with surprise while the 3 subordinates gasp with amazement and fascination as they assume I was a son of one o the admins, which is quite literally an understatement.

"Wait, wait, wait." Elliot called a time out while pinching the top of his nose "Your father, the one whom you absolutely loathe is a true god? How did you mother even attract such a person?"

They seriously believe me quick, I'm not an honest man, I should start lying more often.

"Well you hear the myths, gods are attracted to mortals all the time, though our mom is also one of the true gods." Diana chimed in which almost make Elliot pass out

It would be hilarious to take a picture o the guy who people assumed to be the strongest pass out from shock, they know to trust my words if I talk about a serious topic, even more trustworthy if it also comes from the mouth of my sister

"Oh my gods, it make so much sense on why you 2 look so fricking attractive now." Terra exclaimed out of nowhere to which Wyatt tried his best to hold his laughter in.

"Seriously, not the the right time." Bora scolded her.

"Maybe we can go to a bar later and let her flirt with any man or woman we come across in there since the boss is legally allowed to drink now." Wyatt suggested "it's the best way to let her let it out."

"So your parents, mom and dad, are both gods." Elliot repeated "And the 2 over there seems to already know judging from their facial expressions."

"More or less, not everything though. You guys know more about true gods and admins in general while they know more about my connection to them."

"And why are you 2 born of the human race?" Richard asked "Are both your parents gods or mythological beings that exist only our-I mean human realm?"

"Yep, they gods from the human world, both of em. Apparently I just learned I was made a dhampir not born as one, cool, right? I you don't count the fact that our parents are complete assholes."

"And what kind of sicko is willing to teach to what I assume a demigods?" Elliot asked "I mean, your teacher should have learned of your identity so that he or she can teach you properly. Are they not scared of offending your parents no matter where they may be."

"Ohhh, see this is where the 'my true identity' thing comes in. The 'Weaver of Calamity' isn't my teacher, I made it all up."

"So then who is that person?"

"Me." I answered

And sure enough, he fainted. I took out my phone and took pictures from every angle of him fainting. He was already sleepy before we got here and me revealing these kind of information didn't help either.

"You're...joking, right?" Emma asked "There's not possible way that you are the top raider of the tower at your age."

"That's why I brought the people whom I can trust to be on this mission, me and my sister can do this in our usual duo if we wanted to, but it'll take to long and my identity isn't going to take long to be revealed anyway."

Well I also received another direct message from the 13 admins earlier.

'We will update the list and reveal your identities exclusively to the participants until the quest ends. We will start when you decide to remove your limiter.'
