Kudos author for your work. Mystery novels are a hooking one when they are thrilled to see what happens. Not knowing everything at first then little by little, the answer becomes clear. Good job on the prologue chapter one. If I can hear the MC's voice, welp I will get goosebumps and if it has background horror music then it will be an experience worth remembering. I am talking of it becoming a game in the future.....I hope it will get popular and in the right time, your novel will get popular.
This novel.... It moved me. I have to be honest that I am not a fan of tragedy. But this story portrays the grief in just right amount. I can relate to it but I don't cry. This is just perfect for me. And the mystery part is amazing. I hope to see more of this novel author A big thumbs up for ur writing 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😍😍
Mysterious as the shrouded and dramatic as a painting. I love how the first chapter starts. It takes you into the world of the protagonist. In some ways it brings a lot of questions that could potentially hook a reader. The portrayal of emotion is astounding as every sentence can hold a tight grip on curious minds. I love how the author has written this story. More power to the author please keep writing.
I love your book. First chapter in and I was already in awe with your writing skill. The mystery element also added to the excitement and curiosity. Though I suggest you minimize the narrations and make the character come to life. I understand the MC's grief although reading it is too much, I would like to know more about him and not just the side of him who mourns for his sister :) Over all, good job with the book!
Added to library. Why? Because I love mystery, and this definitely gives me those vibes. I think the main character can be polished more. The first chapter was intriguing, but at the same time, he seems to have a whole negative view of how the world looks at him and his dead sister. Which I don’t really mind, but some readers might. Overall, I would read this. Good work author !
This has enormous potential, but it's tricky to pull off. By potential, I mean like being a complete hit, like 13 Reasons Why. The story is already unique because of the way it's written. It's a first person narrative, but he's always speaking with his sister. Now, if it's done properly, I can easily imagine it flying off the shelves. The problem, though, is that it still needs a lot of work. ***Note to author*** -The first chapter was nice, and I could glean through the sad messages to his sister, but using it too much in the later chapter can become off-putting. I'm not saying to stop it, but I dare say that too much sadness can make the readers put the book down. -Characterization: The MC is a loner now, so there are little interactions with other people. That becomes a problem because it becomes harder to insert dialogue into a big wall of texts. How to potentially solve it? Add a certain character trait to the MC that makes the readers want to know more about him. Right now, he's only a sad brother who got his sister murdered. Is he spunky? If he's a nerd, I can't sense it through his narration. Think more about how to engage the readers more. -Too many narration can be off-putting. I know it can be hard, but do your best to think of a solution to this. So, that's it. I'm actually feeling really excited about how this book will turn out if it can get polished a lot. I see humongous potential, so I do hope I could read it in its best form in the future. Good luck, dear author! I'm rooting for you.
I believe to give a more solid review, I need to read the whole thing. First of all, language is beautiful, the short sentences are good at empathizing pain and showcase how the character is feeling, I love that. Secondly, the content and the flow is great, I don't feel like that the story is just fast-forwarding, there are pauses, there are times when one has to take no breaks. I love that. The character dialogues hep us fo relate to the character and feel his tragic past and emotions
