13 Chapter 13 : Infinity Lottery

'well, it's time to use that infinity lottery.'

'Lottery.' Yugen muttered in his mind, then his conscious was pulled into a cosmic void, a golden wheel, adorned with intricate patterns that gleam in the ambient light. The wheel is set against a backdrop of luxurious dark purple, exuding an air of mystery and opulence. Each segment of the wheel is a mesmerizing blend of dark pink and black, creating a dramatic contrast.

then five rectangle icons hovered in front of him, each one with a distinct color, with a black word and a number next to it.

the first icon is white with the word Mortal and number 0 next to it.

the second one is yellow with the word supernatural and number 0 next to it.

the third one is silver with the word Transcendent next to it is number 0

the fourth one is Golden with the word Beyonder and number 0 next to it.

the fifth one is Dark Purple with the word Infinity and number 1 next to it.

'wow, so here where i can perform Lotteries, it's really spectacular!'

Yugen looked in all directions of the lottery space with a mix of emotions such as shock, surprise and curiosity.

but soon he regained his composure as he gazed at the the four icons that appeared in front of him.

'according to the manual, there are five levels of lottery, each level had a certain amount of lust points that's needs to be paid before using it.'

'Mortal level :100 LP, Supernatural: 1000 LP, Transcendent : 10 000 LP, Beyonder : 100 000 LP, Infinity : 1 000 000 LP.'

Yugen noticed the numbers next to each tier, which means the lottery chances he have after he buy them using lust points. the higher the lust points he used in each tier, the better the things he will get.

he looked at the segments on the giant golden wheel, there are five categories, which are : Superpowers, Skills, Items, bloodlines, and Mystery. the last one took the least amount of space in the wheel, it's just the size of the Wheel's Needle, making Yugen wonder what kind of mysterious rewards it contains that it caused it to be this small and lower the chances of getting it.

'it seems i can only perform the free lottery given by the system, I wonder what I will get? I hope the prize will make me invincible in one full sweep, like those brainless webnovels fanfics in my previous life, but i doubt my author will do such a stupide thing.'

with a mix of anticipation and nervousness, Yugen clicked on the Infinity Tier lottery Icon.

As Yugen clicked on the Infinity Tier lottery icon, the cosmic void around him shimmered with an ethereal light. The wheel stopped on the Superpowers category. Yugen's eyes widened with excitement. A holographic interface appeared in front of him, displaying the superpower he obtained bellow it a golden button with the word 'Obtain' on it.

Looking at the message displayed on the holographic interface, Yugen titled his head in confusion.

although he understood what each word means, but when they are put together he couldn't fully guess what does it means.

'bookmarking? is it like how I used to bookmark my favorite novels, corns, etc... in the browser? so what this ability allows me to bookmark? it can't be bookmarking internet stuffs right?'

Yugen with a worried expression he clicked on the name of the ability which was glowing in an ethereal glow, indicating he can see more details.

as he clicked, another holographic screen popped up.

Temporal Energy can be acquired through absorbing the trace of time left on ancient locations, ancient items and works, or even by altering the timeline.

Yugen's eyes widened in sheer disbelief at the Infinity Bookmarking ability description in front of him.

"OI OI OI ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!" Unable to contain his excitement, Yugen let out an exclamation of awe. His mind raced with the possibilities, and a grin spread across his face as he realized the infinity potential of this power.

With unbridled joy, Yugen couldn't resist the childlike impulse that surged within him. he began a spontaneous dance of happiness. Twirling and laughing.

"Awoo!!!!"

Unable to express the intensity of his emotions through words and dance alone, Yugen let out a primal, triumphant howl reminiscent of a wolf. The sound echoed through the lottery space. Venting off his excitement.

only after doing all these stupide cringe shit he calmed down. usually, Yugen like to act like a cold cool main character, but occasions like this reveal his hidden otaku essence.

Yugen returned to the previous screen, and looked at the 'obtain' button bellow the message, without hesitation he pressed it.

The moment Yugen's finger pressed on the "Obtain" button, a burst of colorful light erupted from the lottery wheel, enveloping him in a radiant aura. The vivid hues danced in a mesmerizing display, almost hypnotic in their brilliance. It was a moment of dazzling beauty that heralded the arrival of the Infinity Bookmarking superpower.

However, the enchanting display quickly took a dark turn. Without any warning, an excruciating pain gripped Yugen's entire being. As Yugen lay in the cosmic void, his soul shattered into myriad fragments, the colorful energy of the superpower took an unexpected turn. Instead of dispersing, it coalesced into a radiant orb, vibrant and pulsating with a mystical energy. Like a magnet drawn to its source, the orb began to pull in the fractured pieces of Yugen's soul.

he forcibly calmed himself and tried to suppress his fear at the bottom of his heart, he focused his attention on the superpower he just acquired.

with a thought, Yugen left the lottery space, returning to the bedroom where he is sleeping with Midnight in his embrace, his nine inches dick between her legs, but it already shrink back into the size of his pinky like a turtle after experiencing that pain. 

Yugen looked at Midnight's charming face and felt that this peaceful moment is the most suitable one to be his first bookmark. so he directly used his ability.

'save this moment!'

Upon activation of the Infinity Bookmarks ability, Yugen's surroundings warp into a surreal dreamscape. The air shimmers with an otherworldly luminescence, and translucent, glowing three bookmarks materialize in mid-air. These three bookmarks are like suspended crystalline fragments, hovering at different heights and distances.

Yugen stood in the center of this dreamy white world, he looked at the three glowing vertical rectangles likes transparent crystals, which should be the bookmarks. one of the bookmarks starts transforming which caught yugen's attention.

he saw as this bookmark's color changed, it slowly turned into a dark pink crystal and Yugen can see the image of himself hugging Midnight from a third person perspective inside the crystal. he felt something telling him to name this bookmark as he wish.

'name it, umm...Midnight Embrace ' Yugen whispered, as his voice fell, the dark pink crystal seems to be more solid, and a vertical sentence inscribed on it, in a glowing white font. which is naturally the name he choose. Midnight Embrace.

The two remaining bookmarks retained their translucent glow, waiting patiently for Yugen to designate specific moments for them.

Yugen marveled at the bookmark before him, captivated by the intricate details preserved within the dark pink crystal. It was not merely an image but a living memory encapsulated in time. The serenity of Midnight's face, the warmth of the embrace – all frozen in the crystalline embrace of the bookmark.

Yugen left the bookmarks space, he carefully and quietly tried to escape his sister's embrace without waking her up. he stealthily slipped away from his sister's embrace, he tiptoed through the quiet corridors, ensuring not to disturb the tranquility of his sister's sleep.

Reaching the living room, Yugen waited for a while, he glanced at the clock on the wall, noting the passage of ten minutes since he had left the bookmarked scene. A sense of anticipation stirred within him as he prepared to test his new ability.

With a focused thought, he activated the power of the Infinity Bookmarking ability. The air around him shimmered, and the three bookmarks materialized once more. The dark pink crystal, named "Midnight Embrace," stood out among them, a portal to the serene moment he sought to revisit.

Yugen extended his hand towards the bookmark, his fingertips brushing against the cool surface. In an instant, the living room faded away, replaced by the dreamscape of crystalline memories. The sensation was seamless, as if he had simply turned a page in the cosmic book of time.

As he stepped into the bookmarked scene, the clock on the wall reversed its ticking, rewinding with the fluidity of a surreal dance. Yugen found himself back in the comforting embrace of his sister, the world reset to the exact moment he had chosen to bookmark.

A mixture of awe and exhilaration washed over him. The Infinity Bookmarking ability had proved its extraordinary prowess!

'with this power, I have no more regre...' this thought halted in Yugen's heart.

'if only I had this power when i was a kid...' Thinking of his death parents, Yugen's joy diminished, the infinity bookmarking doesn't allow him to time travel freely, he can't return to time periods that aren't bookmarked. so he can't, at least for now, go back to the past and save his parents.

'but maybe with Eri's Quirk, after training and awakening she might be able to rewind someone to a state before they died, thus resurrecting them, the possibility is extremely low but it's not zero!'

Yugen thought in his mind, he decided maybe he could improve Eri's spiritual and physical level through lust energy so she could awaken her power faster and see if the possibility of reviving his parent will success.

but if he wants to empower her, he needs to...
