The story isn't bad, it's good, but it's not my cup of tea. I never finished ff7, but from what I know and saw in this story the author understands the world of ff7. Now for me the dialogues are good, there's dialogue that even seems to come out of a game, as if you NPCs talking which is cool, but the dialogues are only good when the protagonist is not the one talking. The only thing that bothered me and made me drop the story is the protagonist, want a reason? The protagonist looks like Brie Larson playing Captain Marvel, for me he has the charisma of a Potato, yes of a potato 🥔🥔🥔 his personality has no salt, he seems like a perfect being, who knows about everything and everyone likes him, he doesn't even look like a human being. I get the perception that some characters have more real personality than the protagonist.
If you're looking for a good ff7 fanfic, with a good built world, and you don't care what I say about the protagonist, then I believe you can really like this story. But if you don't like protagonists who are perfect, and who don't even look like a human being (as far as I've read the protagonists' dialogues with other humans is horrible, but that's my opinion of course) stay away, this won't be your cup of tea .
