I would like to mention that I made this review after reading all the chapters. Now i am reading all again and commenting at the same time so even tho my review won't have too many spoilers, still it will have some.
First of all, I need to talk about the main character. The fact that we can feel all the pain the character experiences really makes us deeply connected to him. Especially the way he describes all the losses he's been through makes him one of the best characters I've ever seen. His behavior towards the people around him makes him seem like a truly perfect person, but, as he has said multiple times, his assertion that he is "not a good person" gives him a unique dual personality. The fact that he doesn't feel pity for any creature he sees as evil and tries to protect those he sees as good as much as possible strengthens the bond between the reader and him. Furthermore, his superior intelligence and the way he puts his plans into action make him even more intriguing. These are the things I like most about our main character.
Secondly, I would like to talk about the supporting characters. Each of the supporting characters is incredibly well-developed and seems to be used effectively. You don't find yourself saying, "This character feels unnecessary."
Let me start with Pule: Pule is a character who you can tell is funny just by his sentences. Besides that, his twin sister Adara is also humorous but more serious than him, which makes them both endearing. Moreover, Aaron's comment about her being "especially talented" adds to my respect for her.
Next, Nicole and Hector. I don't need to say much about them; they don't talk much in the story, but when they do, it's clear that their descriptions play important roles in the story.
April and June, on the other hand, are seen as incredibly talented by Aaron, much like Adara, even though they don't speak much. This clearly suggests that they will have significant roles in the future.
Camelia and Kevin are two characters who have significant roles in the story even now. They know how to put themselves in the spotlight, and their detailed emotional backgrounds make them very compelling.
I must mention that each group member is incredibly detailed and emotionally rich.
While I haven't felt much about Aaron's family, the author mentioned that they wouldn't be initially designed in such detail. So, I'm sure they will have significant moments in the future.
Lastly, I must make a serious comment about world-building because, despite the author's pride in the characters, I have a great admiration for the content and development of the world.
Although every corner of the world is taken from our real world, I can still say this much: every detail of this story world must have been meticulously crafted and outlined because you can feel it very well. Especially the movements of the world and the creatures and humans integrated with it, and the world's response to them, give you an incredible sense.
Moreover, the fact that each part of the world changes and we can definitely notice this change adds a unique beauty to the world. I want to emphasize that it is definitely what every reader desires. I haven't seen a world with such well-detailed information and provided when needed for a long time.
I absolutely give this novel a 10/10 rating, and I believe it deserves this score through and through.
