Volume 5- Chapter 5: Towards the Gate

"Nothing....Nothing happened."

Aaron's words left everyone in a state of confusion, but the longing and purity in his voice managed to silence them and prevent them from asking any more questions. Nyx had noticed every single change he had gone through, from the smallest to the biggest, and so she had become quite curious. Still, she realised that she shouldn't have asked a question after all, and did nothing but calm herself down as much as possible and smile at Aaron.

Calmly rising from her seat, Nyx sent the holy beings around her to leave and then turned to Aaron and said, "I was so worried, even though I knew it wasn't dangerous, the fear in my heart didn't subside for a moment."

"Thank you for your usual attentiveness, my lady, I'm fine, don't worry," Aaron replied, trying to suppress the longing in his mind, but Nyx's words were enough to make him happy.
