Volume 2 - Chapter 12: Strengthening Overnight

" 'Me first! Me first!' exclaimed Pule eagerly, stepping forward and continuing to speak: 'The name of the God who sponsored me is Osiris. I don't know who he is, but he looks really cool.' "

"Osiris?" Aaron asked, unable to hide his surprise.

"Yes... I hope he's not bad," Pule said, still bewildered.

"Of course not. Osiris is actually quite powerful. He is the god of the dead and the underworld, but his main domain is water and vegetation. You had an affinity for the water element, so it's natural for him to choose you," Aaron explained.

"Really? That's AWESOME!" Pule exclaimed with a mix of astonishment and joy. Even tho he was brave he was still a kid who can show joy with the simple things that he can find.

"You're lucky. Catching the eye of Osiris seems to have pleased him, probably because of your encounter with the Mad Scientist," Aaron said, chuckling lightly, and then turned his attention to Camelia.

"And what about you?" he asked.
