I am fed up with all these novels with harem tags. God! Why can't authors just write a descent novel with no harem, no system just a story where main character is just smart and hard working (By the way I am just ranting no offense to who ever like these type of shit)

I don’t mind harems only when it’s very well written and it’s not super large maybe two or three. However, I absolutely hate systems. It’s lazy writing unoriginal and it just ruins the story. The only time I don’t mind it is if the world setting has it that way everyone on the planet has a system and that’s how the magic is set up then I can look past it or if the MC somehow figure out how to make his own system through magic however, I absolutely hate systems with consciousness, points, I absolutely hate it when they have a store( like why can’t the MC just make his own weapons with his own method of magic) I also hate it when a ROB transmigrated the MC to another world and giving him free wishes for no reason even more so when it’s comedic. It’s falling lazy and honestly annoying. There’s no mystery or some sort of hidden agenda behind the god sending MC to the other world. It’s just stupid. And then it’s never mentioned or bought up ever again me personally I always end up skipping with those couple of chapters because I can’t stand it. It’s just not important
I get the feeling bro, there are not enough novel which ticks of all the marks but you are right I absolutely can't stand 1. Harem 2. system 3. Badly translated Chinese shit (If you have some recommendation for which includes strong willed, hardworking, cunning mc, It will be better if there are minimal to no cheats except knowledge of course)
If you want decent novels, just go to my previous comment history a lot of the novels. I end up reading a pretty good.

It's preference, you might not like Harem but some like it. Personally i'm in the middle, I don't care if there's even romance involved as long as it's done pretty good, same in harem, but I would rather focus on the interesting parts like the plot

It is not a crime as long as everyone involved consents, if it were it would violate human rights XD... The only crime is legally marrying more than one as you have to trick the law for it...sort of a contempt of court kinda thing...
For that, it is better to look for the original works.

where...i know some..just curious XD...in some middle east ones (even in west and asia, they're more like cohabitation agreements ) religious courts have power , so normal law doesn't matter XD...but in most usually not allowed by law....

While I disagree with your opinion of the harem here's a recommendation, there isn't even a female lead until the end of the book, so you don't have to worry about poorly written romance.
