Loud/Pervert/Antagonistic Protagonist =! Interesting Mild /Calmer/Just Minding their own Business Protagonist =! Boring Protagonist I'd rather read a Calm protagonist that deals with plot calmly and doesn't have plans of grandeur than A protagonist that wants to be at the Top of the World and get all the women and riches. Makes a more compelling read to a Man interact with his surrounding without foreboding plots

Feels like Magicules are superior tho, since it supplies basically everything in Tensura (More like everything have Magicules but maybe i'm wrong about this) meanwhile Curse Energy are just supplied by negative things

It's preference, you might not like Harem but some like it. Personally i'm in the middle, I don't care if there's even romance involved as long as it's done pretty good, same in harem, but I would rather focus on the interesting parts like the plot
