22 Chapter 21: First Mission Episode II
[Seswenna Sector, Eriadu System]
As our T-6 shuttle exited hyperspace I looked at the planet Eriadu in the distance.

It took us four entire days to get here, but Dooku and I have finally reached our destination.
'Now the hard part begins.' I thought.
Since while making the journey here my master gave me a few more details about our mission.
Apparently while we will be in charge of the investigation into the attacks on the vessels owned by 'Valorum Shipping and Transport' we will be getting no support from Republic Judicial Forces.
Instead Dooku and I will be receiving assistance from the Outland Regions Security Taskforce.
The people who were already investigation these incidents to begin with.
So to put it simply this situation looks like we Jedi will be coming in and taking over, basically saying to the taskforce many don't have faith in their abilties.
At least in the Core.
I can already see that's not going to over well.
Yeah, looks like this mission won't be as easy as I first thought.
But at least it will help me build experience to deal with future situations like this.
Dooku piloted the ship closer to Eriadu.
But we didn't get too far before the shuttles scanners picked up six signals approaching us rapidly.
Though neither Dooku or I panicked.
For the signals approaching us were ships that belonged the Outland Regions Security Taskforce.
Six heavily modified CSS-1 Correllain Star Shuttles to be specific.
Surrounding us in a circular formation the ships held their positions as Dooku and I received an incoming communications calls.
Which we answered promptly.
"Jedi shuttle, this is the Outland Regions Security Taskforce. We have been expecting your arrival. Please follow us and we will escort you the rest of the way." A male voice said.
"Understood." Dooku replied.
Once he did we cut the call and then all the ships started flying towards Eriadu.
Me hoping things would stay civil until the mission was completed.

[Eriadu, Eriadu City]
Our T-6 shuttle shifting into its landing position Dooku lowered the landing equipment and set the shuttle down perfectly on the landing pad our escort had guided us too.
Getting out of the co-pilot seat I stretched a bit as Dooku powered down the ship.
Once he finished the two of us exited the cockpit and then exited the shuttle using the ramp.
When we did we found a contingent of armed personnel ready and waiting for us.
Along with one Wilhuff Tarkin.

A man who is one of Sidious loyalist supporters, and a man with the capacity to destroy an entire world, snuff out billions of lives, destroy an entire culture, all just to use an example for others.
Which is why he's on my kill list.
Yes, I have one of those.
Most names on it belong to Sidious loyalist allies and top supporters. Who I will start taking out as soon as I can.
Though there are other allies of his, like Dooku, who I will try and save.
For if they come and work with me I feel we can achieve good things for the galaxy.
Keeping a neutral expression on my face I watched as Wilhuff approached me and Dooku.
He stopped a few inches in front of us.
"Greetings master Jedi. I am Wilhuff Tarkin. Lieutenant governer of Eriadu." Wilhuff spoke.
"Greeting to you as well. I am Dooku." Dooku said. He then motioned a hand towards me. "And this is my Padawan, Van Sunrider."
"A pleasure to meet you governer Tarkin." I said to Wilhuff. "To what do we owe this meeting?" I asked him.
"Well seeing as you and your master are here to aid us in our time of need, since the powers that be don't think we can handle this matter ourselves, I wanted to come and meet you personally and assure you that any assistance you need, you shall have." Tarkin explained.
Getting in a jab at the Core worlds as he did so.
"We thank you for your offer and assurances governer Tarkin." Dooku spoke. "And even though my apprentice and I were assigned this mission, and did not ask for it, you have my word, we will not rest until it is complete and these attacks are stopped." He said.
Dooku basically telling Tarkin we are not here to step on anyone's toes.
Who know wordplay could be so thrilling.
"I see." Wilhuff mused. "Understood." He said. The governer then raised his hand and two armed personnel stepped toward us. "These men will escort you where you need to go. It has been a pleasure meeting you master Jedi and your young apprentice as well. Good day." Tarkin said.
Wilhuff then left with the rest of his security team.
While the two that remained with us led us to an armored vehicle, which we all got in.
As Dooku and I were driven to our next destination I went over the brief exchange we just had with Wilhuff Tarkin in my head over and over again.
Trying to get a better sense of the man.
So that when the time came I could snuff out his life as quickly and efficiently as possible.
For he is not using any superweapons to blow up entire planet's while I'm around.
No sir.
