I Will Kill The Author

Let this be a warning for all of you, fellow webnovel readers. We all think that we have the freedom to choose which book we want to read. But do we have that? When I first opened this book, I dropped it after the first chapter, thinking it was utter trash. But mind you, that was a grave mistake because I ended up garnering the author's wrath. And on the next day, I woke up to a note, telling me, "I got ur family and I live inside your walls. If you ever want to see them again, continue reading it." And so here I am, locked in the basement while praying that I can see them soon again. Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoy reading this book especially when the author live streams how my family is starving in the room next door.

As we approach our 100th chapter, I'd like to share my review of the story so far. While I acknowledge that it may not be a perfect 5-star rating, I firmly believe that the story I aim to tell is worth the rating I've given it. Admittedly, the progression can be a bit slow, and there are moments when the MC's actions may seem unintelligent or lazy. However, I urge readers to stick with the story until at least the 50th chapter before making any final judgments and dropping hateful comments. If, after giving it a fair chance until 50 chapters, the story still doesn't resonate with you... Then I can always see you in my next story. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask in the comments, and I'll do my best to address them. Regarding some common criticisms from a few readers: The MC may appear lazy or unproductive at times, but this is due to the lack of available resources that he can use at the current point in the plot. However, he gradually becomes more proactive as the story unfolds. The MC is not a weak or pathetic (he does act like it in the start but don't be fooled), and I can only ask that you read further to see how his character develops. The pacing of the story may be a bit slow in the beginning, (too much monologues) but it does pick up as the plot progresses.

An amazing that you just can’t get enough of! the ability to have the Mc have a high intelligence and comedic personality without being to overpowered, while maintaining a good plot to the story and having diverse set of characters is an amazing act of itself. Highly recommend

I would rate it 4 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Story Development: I didn't enjoy the story development much, except for the moments when the main character (MC) used his brain towards the end. That part was good. I would rate the story development 3 stars. ⭐⭐⭐ Characters: Unfortunately, I don't like the MC. I found him to be unintelligent, to the point where it frustrated me. It bothered me how easily he allowed others to see him as weak. Although there were some instances where he regained his strength, they were infrequent. Overall, the character development was not satisfactory, and I would rate it 2 stars. ⭐⭐ World Background: The world background has some details, but it often lacks sufficient descriptions. For example, the author uses generic names like "ruin city" without providing enough specific details to fully imagine it. I would rate the world background 3 stars. ⭐⭐⭐ Updating Stability: The updating stability is excellent, earning it a 5-star rating. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Evaluation: The story has potential, but the MC's development is a major drawback. It took too long for him to start using his brain effectively, and expecting readers to wait for over 50 chapters for that moment is frustrating. I hope the author considers improving the MC's character earlier in the story. (Note to the author: Please consider this review as constructive feedback. It took me 10 minutes to write, and I hope you take it to heart.)

My Favourite author has released his next novel. And this novel starting is amazing I am waiting for more chapters. FACT - MUST READ THIS AUTHOR NOVELS. I love this novel and you are also gonna love it.

NOW GO AND READ THE STORY! You're missing out!

I am starting the story now and with all my anti-harem bones, I hope and pray with both my hands and feet close that it's not going to be a harem. Author if it turns out to be a harem, I will kill you!!

I'm up to chapter 30 right now. The novel is generic, as if any other person were to reincarnate as a novel-type scenario. But the writing quality is irritating, and I don't mean the grammar; rather, the manner the author writes the story is irksome; I can't count how many times the protagonist breaches the fourth wall, which makes me cringe at times, and there are simply too many info dumps.

I am 99%,sure that the Book has been dropped. It was a good book while it lasted, especially the recent chapters(after 406), which were good. Too bad the author dropped after introducing some major plot points.

Reading the latest chapters I feel like this story isn't for me especially mc when being so highly intelligent just keeps on creating disaster for himself which will blow up later for convenience of the plot and he can't even manipulate anyone as successfully and he is not even what he deems himself to be -

stopped reading bc it was cringe. Humour was also overdone, read if you like rolling your eyes at nonsense scenarios.

The writing quality is mindblowing, the character development is so reasonable and smooth, its almost shocking... And the presentation is truly magnificent..never read any Author's work that presented the story in such a godly way before... TBH can I know your age esteemed author kun and how did you develop such quality in writing ?

Okay, now I believe the main character did manage to kill the author of this piece after all, depriving us of the continuation of the story.

This really was one of the best stories in this genre till it was updated. I don't know what is going on in the author's life -- maybe he graduated and landed a full-time job, so it's hard to write for him. Maybe he's recovering from that surgery he had, or maybe he really is pregnant like some of his readers claimed (lol!) -- but I really wished to have seen this story's ending. On that note, I want to thank you, author. Night_Crawler619, you have inspired me to write my own novel. I will write a similar story to this and try to give it an ending. I was depressed when I started reading novels. I read your story and some of the other ongoing WNs Shadow Slave, Void Evolution System, Inheritor of Magic, etc. I also began reading some traditional works like the Stormlight Archive, Six of Crows, and The Name of The Wind. All these stories really helped me through my tough time. But among these, only one didn't get the conclusion it deserved -- yours. So, I will write a story as a tribute to this beautiful work. I know I Will Kill The Author wasn't some masterpiece, but it holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the first stories that made me laugh when all I wanted was to cry. I really liked Lucas' humor and his foreshadowed and hinted tragic past. I really wanted to know more about him. But, oh well. Thank you for what it was worth.

Good writing quality. But I hate the MC. He is a psychopath and not a villain by any means. Hence I can't seem to relate to him . He has no qualms in killing children. ( Small SPOILER . He blackmails a character using a child as a shield and later kills the character as well as the child) . He also hides his strength and act as a weak character which I seem to dislike. I am out. Sorry
