Author-special-five-star-review!!! Version 3!!! (Probably final version) Thanks a lot, to everyone who’s taking their time to read through all my stuff. I really don't know why I thought it was a good idea to put a suicide scene in my synopsis… It not like it’s a story defining scene in the novel or anything either, it’s just a part of a side-story that I love very dearly. Layla Pog T_T Anyway, in this review, I’ll try to explain my story and why you should read it. And just like how the review system works, I’ll divide this review into four parts (Writing quality, Story, Characters and World-building) and give my thought process on them. Writing quality: Most of the story, you’ll see something similar to what I wrote on the synopsis. Since this was my first time writing anything, the novel had some problems which I've been trying my best to fix over time, but finally, I can confidently say that I've done a good job of cleaning up the story (for the most part). I can also confidently say that you will find typos, grammatical or punctual mistakes and some repeats of words and expressions and whatnot. (I did a spelling check like four times and I still find some mistakes here and there to this day. I'm sorry I’m a failure) Story - General feel: Alright, after you’ve just read the synopsis (or if you know the previous review I put here), you probably think that this novel is something grim dark and depressing, right? You’re right. At least, on some occasions. Those “some occasions” mostly being the side stories and the World building stuff that pops out throughout the story. But if I were to write a completely honest synopsis, it would probably go like this: [A 300-year-old spirit does slice-of-life things in another world. There’s also some stuff about him trying to achieve immortality, unearthing the secrets of the Final Empress, discovering the history of a broken empire, yada yada.] So yeh. Story – Themes Hmm… I guess the biggest theme in my novel turned out to be one’s identity. Although I want to explain this part a bit better, honestly, I’m struggling a bit with the concept myself, so I guess you can see me trying to wrap my head around it through Evin’s story. There’s also some more parts expressing such mind-blowing new ideas like: life sucking, war being bad, ethical dilemmas, ignoring morals entirely due to circumstances and then feeling bad, etc, etc. Story - Pacing and development: Warning: Slow story. If you don’t like slow stories don’t read. I don’t know how, but I’m able to write on seemingly the most mundane of things continuously, and most readers love them for whatever reason. There’s also the side stories that pop out occasionally. Obviously, I try to connect them into the main story and push the story ahead, but a lot of others will probably feel bored through it and want to kill themselves. That’s completely okay. Just leave the story and read a more fast-paced story; there’s like at least 16 of them on the site(I know since I tried counting them all). Characters: My goal when I was writing this story, is that every character could become a waifu for someone(even the MC! nANI?) and that they don’t just exist to further the plotline. Also, even if I don’t write about it on the novel all the time, I try to give every character a proper backstory (that exists in a very rudimentary way inside my head). This helps a lot in helping me decide what kind of actions they will take in certain situations. I’m also focusing a lot on giving the charas proper flaws and whatnot so they can get satisfying development and whatnot. MC: Also, MC will make dumb mistakes, suboptimal decisions, weird thoughts a lot of times. He will not be perfect, he will not always win, and he will not always be cool. So, if you want a self-insert power-fantasy story, then this novel is probably not for you. But I don’t want you to think that this novel literally has no satisfying moments. I’d write a bunch of stuff here to prove this point to you, but I feel that you should experience it yourself. World-Building: It’s lit fam. At least according to all the readers. And honestly, I really like it as well, so I spend a lot of time trying to keep things consistent and plot-hole free. Sadly, I do a really shit job at it, so feel free to point out any inconsistencies you may find and call me a degenerate human being for writing such low-quality content. Don’t worry, I won’t cry. Jokes aside, I’m actually thinking of taking a 1 or 2 week break to dedicate all my to fixing some stuff, but At any rate, that’s all for now, thanks for reading till the end. Enjoy.

This novel made me realize how unfair Webnovel is when it comes to popularity of the books. This story is written better than most of the popular stuff, yet it has so little views... I like that we have ACTUAL reincarnation here (I mean that MC dies and is reborn). In some reincarnation stories it's more like body transitioning (MC is unhappy then BOOM they're someone else). You did this the way it shoul be done imo. I don't know how many more chapters you plan to publish but I hope you'll get the recognition you deserve :)

hmmm... This is a nicely written, well-thought out world that the author has created here. The way the character interactions go is satisfying and refreshing compared to other similar reincarnation or transmigration stories. It is a good read if u r looking for some magic and isekai action, but since the author is new to writing, I would advice being lenient with some stuff. For the Author: You are doing a good job so far and I hope u keep improving and providing us with attractive chaps

This is an excellent novel with a well thought out beginning and structured storyline. The author has not neglected the set up of the new world and every new character POV adds something to that detail. I like that we see the mc before his reincarnation rather than him simply waking up in a random body with his entire history and past forgotten. Glimpses of his former persona come through in his reasoning and there is logic behind his actions based on that prior knowledge which really adds layers of depth to the character and its really refreshing to read. Keep up the good work!

As much as i like it, I really dislike the whole aspect of the mc being in a toddlers body for the majority of the story, its just a massive put off. I get the premise of it with him being a child of the empress and stuff, but i would of thoroughly enjoy it alot more he unlocked his memories of his past life when he got to a certain level of skill or power with magic. I have just never really enjoyed the whole genius baby thing, its a really over done concept with reincarnation novels. But all in all, i did enjoy it and keep up the work king!!

Hiya! Attached is a breakdown of my review: Writing Quality 4/5: Noticed a few grammar errors here and there, some that I commented on, some that I didn't. I think some (like the missing period) should be catchable after a few proofreads. Update Stability 5/5: Not much to comment on there. Honestly the length of the chapters are super impressive. Story Development 4/5: I think you're aware of the issue since I noticed you mentioning this in the author's comments. I think it might be because I don't really read ML novels that much, but the first few chaps made me feel a bit overwhelmed. Especially with all the names being tossed around, some parts took a few rereads for me to get a grasp on what was happening. Character Design 5/5: Seems super detailed so far! World Background 5/5: This category took my breath away! The first few paragraphs describing the world literally gave me chills ahahaha. Your descriptions are probably your greatest strength, so I would say try to couple that with the action and the info a bit more so that there's more of a balance. Overall super good moods you set! I've been silently reading this novel and I'm impressed by the world that the Author is creating here. The characters are also likeable. if u r looking for a novel to read that has Magic, reincarnated MC, good worldbuilding, characters and progression then read this.

This is only my second time giving a review so I don't know much in this part. I'd say this is a really nice novel, not the best but one of the best in this website. Writing quality: I gave it a 4 star since there are some grammatical errors or typos but overall, the quality is still good. The way you describe things is really good. So good that I can see the things you describe clearly. Oh and the errors and typos aren't really a problem but still hope you'd update it later on if you have time. Story development: It's a really slow paced story but it's not boring at all. Tbh, I like it this way. Character design: This one! I really love the characters. They're realistic, they're rounded characters, they make complicated thoughts that further proves that they have actual brains and not just a straight fucking line in their skulls. They're relatable as ****. Erm this is just a personal request of mine so you don't really have to think about it but I hope you make a gay main side character lol. It's because in most fantasy novels in this website when the MC is straight everyone in the fucking novel is straight. But when it's BL story everyone in the story's fucking gay which is kinda... Eh! Even the fucking cats are gay!! And MC in you're story seems really open minded so I hope he gets a handsome, thirsty, sassy, reliable, and a bitch friend. He's sassy in front of his friends but when in front of the person he's interested he's reliable lol. Anyway this is just my personal wish so don't mind me but it's Christmas so I hope you'll give me my wish dear author😅. Updating stability: Well I have nothing to say in this part as the updates are stable with 7 chaps a week but if possible I hope you do mass release every now and then. World background: 5 star! Don't ask why, just 5 star! Joke, well... the author really made a really well thought out world. The history, social hierarchy and stuff.

Very interesting worldbuilding and a unique magic system taking the usual "cores" form cultivation novels and using as the basis for the magic system. The MC actually interacts with other characters like they are real people and they react as you learn to expect from said character. Overall it is a great novel and I cant wait for more chapters.

I think that the story has a god passing, and when they talk about thing like gore it is chill and not over dramatic and I like how they make past event have something to do with future events.

Honestly, I read the first few paragraphs and I was instantly hooked. Hahah. And after reading it a bit more, I decided to add it to my reading list. Let me start off by saying that the writing style got me immersed in the story. The world building is very well thought out and most of the characters are memorable. Not very often do I encounter a novel with a good world building. Great job, author! Thank you for this novel :)

im confused. idk if i should be impressed by the quality of writing, the number of chapters, the plot, the characters, the tension or the folds of problems the mc faces in his life the big and the small, everything, paced perfectly and woah so many chapters! I think this is one of the webnovels that is going to be really, really popular very soon. Clean, clear writing for the most part and the pacing is spot-on in the goldilocks zone of giving enough detail to be tantalizing without being overwhelming. Also, has a lot of forward momentum with the pacing and leaving hooks at the end of chapters. I'm a sucker for world-building and not-OP MC, so this is exactly the type of read that will hook me. One writing habit to keep an eye on is duplication of transition words within sentences (such as using 'But' to lead-off the sentence, and then also as the midpoint), and keeping up variability with modifiers. I'm glad I found this one now, because there is enough content to binge-read in the coming weeks. :)

First, this is beautifully written and second, I am really enjoying the story due the detail. I can imagine every scene as I read it and honestly, it's amazing!

This is an entertaining read, with well thought out characters and world. i like that it pushed the limits of the conventional expectations explores contemporary elements

Super interesting plot, to be honest. I felt quite curious about all the character - each one of them very well written! I love the story and the way you describe it, making it so easy to imagine! Any reader would get hooked from the very beginning. Love it!
